Had to reschedule my appointment 4 different times, each time I went it was a different time then what I had put into my Callander. They dont do courtesy calls for appt reminders. Then if I go to reschedule it will be another month or I have already been trying to get in since June, so a month or longer for a reveille is very ridiculous. Also the staff are stuck up because they ignore you and the receptionist just looks at you and says nothing.
They have been very helpful and kind. They helped me pick a perfect pair of glasses and explained the options to me and cost. They made time for me when I was not scheduled in for an appointment and they even fixed my safety glasses and put new side shields on so I can wear them to work. The environment is calm and they have a good selection of glasses and sun glasses to choose from. They are family oriented and seem to always make sure the customer is happy. Thank you for helping me and making each visit as good as possible.
This was a great experience, from the friendly staff to the knowledgable doctors. The exam was very thorough and all my questions were answered overall all an excellent visit.
Avoid at all cost! My mom went in in mid January to get a new pair of glasses. She ordered the glasses and was told it would be ready in 3 weeks. After a month, she contacted them and was told they would reach out to her the next day. They never reached out so she followed up with them again and was told they would reach out to her. After several attempts, she requested for a refund. It is now mid April and she has not received the refund. Every time we call they give us the run around and direct us to another number. We spoke to the manager, Jessica and she was no help either. We are now filing a claim and taking them to small claims court. Not to mention they also charged her insurance and still refuse to give a refund or the glasses.
The new young eye doctor is not my favorite. I miss Dr Thai. The front staff was very helpful. My lenses came in on time. The lady helping with insurance was very polite. My only complaint would be the actual eye doctor. No personality and seemed to not really care. Everything else was great. Sarah was very nice
Alexa and Miranda went above and beyond to set up my trial lenses. My prescription is complex and they took 15 minutes to review my prescription and talk to the doctor to set me up with multiple sets of trials. It was unexpected for them to take the time to do that on such a busy day at the clinic. But having multiple sets of trials will save me time by not having to return to the clinic if one set does not work. Thanks Alexa and Miranda!
My experience was great. They got me worked in as quickly as they could since my eyes were bothering me and i needed new glasses. They eye Dr did an excellent job was very nice and very professional. Everyone i dealt with in the office was amazing, nice, and extremely helpful. I will return and will recommend them to anyone looking for a new eye dr. Thank you for all that you did for me it did not go unnoticed. Ariel was also extremely nice i couldnt see the frames to well due to my eyes being dilated and she took her time to help me find the right frames for me.
I was seeing Dr Thai but now Im seeing Dr Burtner and hes treating me and diagnosed me and hes been great I got no complain,they all friendly and try to help idk why the negative reviews.
The worst. Spent over 2 hours waiting go get my daughters eyes checked. Literally still sitting here waiting on the doctor. The doctor will be here soon they said as they shut the door of the consult room! Try the other locations because this one does not care if your waiting and waiting... Staff is nice but to wait 2 hours plus to actually get the doctor to see you is unacceptable.
Call on Friday for an appointment they asked for all the name information and insurance the appointment was scheduled for 2pm on Monday when we arrived at the site they told us that there is no one registered with my daughters name I told her the number to call and it was correct the number but the system did not come out, then we said that if we could make a new appointment she said ok for Thursday but give me your information and phone number that on Wednesday I called you to give you the time and it turns out that they never called us
Ive always had positive experiences here. Dr. Thai is a doll, so nice and very knowledgeable. Friendly, helpful staff. Good people! No retail establishment is perfect but this one is far better than my previous eye doctor.
At 80 yrs old I was told by the eye doc desk personnel that I could get a special type of glasses to reduce the glare for night driving. I purchased these spec glasses and the didn’t work. Went back to complain I paid extra for these special glasses and the don’t work. They advised me it was because my eyes had mild cataracts. They should have checked my records prior to selling me special glasses to correct night glare. Won’t go back as this is not the first time we had problems with this company!
Had my appointment and got my prescription, that portion was painless. I had to come in a week later to shop for glasses. I originally took the day off for other obligations but figured now was a good time to get prescription filled. Waited for an hour for help that I never got. When I got there, everyone was helping someone, so I waited my turn. After everyone left, nobody was around to help until other people walked on. Got no help at all. I’ve got my paper script, I’ll go somewhere that is open on Saturday. I don’t have time to be passed off like this.I came here even after hearing some of the negative reviews, even my own wife warned me. Now I see why she won’t go to this location. She goes to another loacation, unfortunately they’re not open on Saturday.
I am so done with this place! I went here a year ago and decided to write this review after just completing my annual checkup at another place. When went in, they were extremely rude and I had to wait and wait even though I had an appointment. The employees werent working they were visiting with each other (very poor customer service) so I had to sit and wait and then when they talked to me everything seemed to be an upgrade. My total bill with them was twice what I payed today so shop around, you dont have to put up with this. My new place seems to care about me.... and thats important.
Horrible service. They entered both my two daughters and my name incorrectly four times in their system and apparently cant get it right no matter how many times I provide insurance and identification. Unacceptable! I call to find out if our glasses are ready? They cant find us in the system. Instead, I get left on hold for 25 minutes. The time it takes me to drive there to find out what is going on. Upon arrival, the lady at the front desk wants to argue with me because I ask her why they keep putting in our information incorrectly and why havent they gotten it fixed in their system yet, and instead of trying to find a way to correct the issue, she decides to make it an argument. Very poor patient relations. THEN, my glasses were due to be picked up yesterday. I go pick them up today and they tell me that something happened (but they dont know what) and now they wont be ready for another two and a half weeks. Meanwhile, I guess I will have to deal poor vision. Completely Unacceptable! Never in my life of getting glasses have I ever experienced anything like this. After reading the reviews below, it appears I am not the only one. Yall need to get your customer service and front desk employees under control! Your front desk employees need to learn patient relations skills and they need to learn how to deescalate a situation when someone is upset with poor service. Completely unprofessional. This is over and above getting people their glasses when theyre supposed to get them.
Dr. Pauline Thai at the North Lakeland location is great! The staff there treated me well. I was in and out, with an eye exam and contact lens fitting completed within an hour. No hitches whatsoever. I will continue to see Dr. Thai indefinitely.
I would rather go blind then go to this eye doctor They have no compassion or customer service abilities I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic but that is no excuse for rudeness.
This will forever be my favorite eye doctor. Their staff is soo nice! Dr. Thai is especially talented and amazing!
Poor customer service! Had an appointment. Was not told doctor was running late. Actually said doctor would be right with me. There is no actual waiting area soI browsed the frames on display. When asked when I would see the doctor was told doctor was running behind. I asked why wasn’t I told and response was we don’t let you know doctor is running late until you have waited 15 minutes. It had already been 25 minutes. Policy doesn’t make sense. You want to tell me I will have to wait for my appointment only after I have already be waiting....duh? Oh wait no one ever said anything to me except for the young lady that did glasss fitting and she just said “ are you still waiting”...yes, until I walked out!

So I had a seat in the area where you pick up your glasses since I was trying to pick up for the second time like the first time wasn’t bad enough, I was back again for some more customer abuse, oh well I had to finish the process and pick up my daughters glasses. The treatment was terrible. The lady was waiting on a patient but she could have acknowledged me. I sat there for 20 minutes before I decided to go to the desk and asked was there someone else that could assist me since she was busy and the lady at the desk was very nasty, she said you just going to have to wait because we’re all doing our own functions. I was stunned, what does that even mean and she looked like she wanted to jump me omg did I make her mad by asking for help, I guess so. This staff should be terminated for mistreating customers this way, but I guess it’s allowed after reading comments and reviews from others and trust me there’re not lying, this place is terrible. I didn’t want to give them one star they deserve less for allowing this type of behavior, shame on you My eye doctor (not anymore).

I wish Dr.Pauline Thai is going back heres shes more nicer than the newer in there, I think they give me a wrong prescription my new eyeglass is worst than old one Ive notice a constant headaches everytime I wear my new eyeglass,I even lost myself seeing things when I was in the store yesterday

THIS IS MY REVIEW FOR EYE WORLD :Careful, All Eye World want is your money. after spending 800.00 almost year before . I was having an issue with one eye and thought maybe a piece of contact broke off. Just wanted them to look. They said they had to charge a full exam 150.00 found another place called MyeyeDr 5228 98 N. They did it for 30 and all it was, one of my eye lash was growing inward poking my eye. She was so plesant, the whole staff was concerned about me not there pocket. Then she said my insurance would pay for my glasses just 100 co-pay, I had this insurance for 8 years. Just try a test walk in the door to both places and see which place you feel more comfortable at . Now I look back when I first went to eye world and got glasses and contact for the first time. Everyone said to always make sure your hands are clean when putting your contact in, it was strange when the Dr assited me with one of a contact I had trubled with that he would use his finger to help me, AFTER typing on his key board and handeling the equipment, I always felt that was unsanitary. Walk in myeyeDr and you will see the difference. Thanks you, My Eye Dr your on my contact list as the best eye dr..

At the very least DONT go to this location! I ordered my glasses March 20th. Received them April 1st or 2nd but they were really blurry so I came back April 6th for another eye exam. They told me Id get a texted when theyd be in. I called April 17th asking about them and at first the lady said I had already picked them up. I told her I had to come back and redo the exam but she kept saying it didnt show that and she was acting like I was lying. Mind you I paid $448.00 for my glasses+lenses. I finally talked to the manager or person who worked in the back section and she told me that they were working on it and that it would be in May 2nd. Okay, never in my life have I ever waited that long for glasses but I was like okay.She told me theyd email me an update, which never came so I emailed relations because how was I suppose to trust they were even being made. They apologized and told me Id be getting an email update, which again never came. I called the store May 3rd and she told me theyd be in May 4th and Id get a texted when ready. That never happened and they were closed til Monday so I waited, they still never contacted me and I called. After waiting for a while she picks up and tells me theyre there but there was a problem. They only cut down one lens and the other was thick (I have a high rx). She said I could come and pick those ones up and wear them till they made the other lens properly in 7-10 business days.Does anyone here know what glasses look like not just with thick ass lenses, but one side thick AF and the other normal?? Yall joking. The fact that they never even called me to tell me was the last shady part of the entire ordeal. I didnt get a full refund because the $37.00 Dr. exam they said couldnt be refunded. Go screw yourselves waiting 48 damn days. Sorry for the Doctors if they are good because the whole operation is making you guys look bad too.
Only giving a 1 because 0 isnt an option. Absolutely the worst experience ever getting a pair of glasses! Went in on the 12th of February for my eye exam and chose frames and lenses. Requested a text when they arrive. Was told then it could be 2 wks. Gave them the 2 wks. When I called back after 2 wks they were in. Id asked how long and was told they had been there since the 16th. I never received a text and apparently no one is this office saw fit to call. Picked up the next day and the positioning was so off I couldnt wear them at all. Went the following day and it was confirmed the points were off and I added anti glare at this time since that was not offered the first time. I was told they would go to lab with a rush order. With the understanding of have them back in a couple days. I have been calling almost daily to be told the 9th of March at the latest. Today the 9th Im told not in but, get deliveries up to 5:30. Call at almost 5 and Im told the 14th is the eta in the notes now!! When I ask how this is even possible. The manager says the lab is waiting on frames. I said they went back with the screwed up lenses! She states they require new frames each time. Are you kidding me?!? If this is policy why the hell did they not have them?? No legitimate answers just excuses as to why it will be a month and 2 days WITH NO GUARENTEE that I will receive by then. You can be certain the insurance company, every employee I can reach across that has this ins, every family member, friend and guests will hear about my experience! Im sure this is not every patients experience but, it shouldnt happen to even one! You are for all intensive purposes a Drs office! This level of incompetence and lack of communication in your offices is unacceptable!!
I made an appointment with Dr. Thai on line but they scheduled me for another doctor. After 7 phone calls to actually get a person, they were unsure whether she still worked there. Eventually they admitted that she did not so I canceled the appointment.
Please be better at assisting with insurance!
