I was on my 3rd day of searching for a Grey Polo (mens or womens) and JCPenney was my 11th store (plus I looked on Amazon). They had the EXACT shirt and size I was needing right by the front door, AND they were on sale!

Why is it so hot in the lakeland store? It wasnt like that before covid-19. I guess its because they are trying to save money now. I will not shop in that store again until they turn the air conditioner back on. It was so hot it made me feel sick. I was fine once I got back in my car and let the AC cool me off there.

I remember when I was a kid JCPenny was the go to place for clothes and shoes. The truth of the matter is time have changed and so has most people selection in clothes. It seems as if the store has some pretty modern selections. Its been a long times since Ive been in this particular store. Not much has changed though, there has been some updates in the store. In this particular location theres a portrait studio, hair salon, cosmetics and jewelry section. Im pleased to inform you that the FITTING ROOMS ARE OPEN.....(As of 6-13-21). 35% off your purchase is available to you with the opening/approval of a JCPenny card. This store was clean and the staff was fantastic.

Was at the JC Penney salon. An amazing experience! Linda was my stylist. We connected instantly. She immediately knew how I wanted to look when I left there. My hair was beautiful. My husband was very happy with my new look. Linda and I started the day as strangers but ended the day as friends.

So far have not had any issues with purchases either in store or on line. Returns are very easy. Will be back

I took my daughter to look for prom dresses and 1 they didn’t have dresses over a size 11, 2 there was no one around to help we had to walk to the counter where the men’s and little girls section is, 3 the girl tried her best to avoid us and 4th she told us my daughter needed to go to the plus size section that is mostly business clothes and clothes my grandmothers wear.I have cut up my pennys credit card and will not be going back and will make sure I tell everyone about this

Jcpenney is my place to shop and do pictures. I love the shoes, Jeans and professional wear. I will be coming back

Online showed they had the shoes I needed for my daughter. We went to the store to try them on to make sure they fit. When I went to purchase them they were $30 more in the store. Not going back there.

Morning, being a loyal J C Penny customer for more years than I even care to say, I recently purchased a item, it doesnt work & its the item not a whole lot can go wrong with i returned to the location lakeland square mall, fla they didnt exchange as I was told they also didnt give my proper wa,paperwork back i was given something about covid 19 care protection have no idea what that even means but I was told by the associate while requesting a mgr bro stop tripping mgr will call you NEVER HAPPENED PAT

The photography department employees were great especially the lady photographer. She was so good with my toddler and got the best photos. The photos were emailed to me the same day, March 18th.

I had been looking for different colored Cargo style shorts. Its a lot harder to find then youd think. Only colors I ever find are Beige/Tan or Ugly as sin Camouflage. Finally found some here at JC Penny. Best part the were on sale. Half the price of of other stores quality brands.

As a disabled shopper with limited mobility I was saddened to find not only no help in the Mens Suits area but also that the dressing rooms were closed. The nearest dressing rooms were on the other side of the store in the Ladies department. Sorry to see that the former levels of service in JC Penney is now gone.

Smells of mold. Poor selection. Only one fitting room open with a long line. Opened another after someone started trying on the clothes behind a rack.

Wish they had more in stock, and their prices are awfully high. I hope they dont go out of business here.

The clearance stock seemed to be even cheaper online. Its a good store to window shop at while you find the same products online!

Store is under stocked and a definite mess..i saw 1 cashier in the entire store who i did ask if the store was closing and his reply was NO but conditions of the store looked like yes soon

Came in five minutes before closing time (I thought they closed at 10, not 9). I was still greeted, then immediately heard the closing in five minutes announcement. I ran through grabbed what I needed and made it to the register by 9:00. Everything was placed where it was easy to find and sizes were in the appropriate places. This made it so easy to grab an entire outfit head to toe in less than five minutes. I love JCPenney!!

Empty, lots of choices. Plenty of parking. Nice, friendly staff wearing masks. Plastic shielded register areas. Complimentary squirts of hand sanitizer. Clean bathroom.

I always enjoy shopping here...As a man, I totally never have to endure the lady sections just to find a tiny mens section. This store protects men from complete and total shopping agony by having a huge mens section with its own entrance from the parking lot. You can get in, grab what you want from their great selection, and get out in under ten minutes. You never have to step near the confusion of the womens section. They always have great prices and deals, and the only time you end up wasting time is when women come to the mens section to check out because theres never a line, but then they create one because they always have too many things, and questions. I totally recommend this store for men who hate shopping, but want to have a really smooth, fast good experience when they have to shop.I cant really comment on any other parts of the store because I never visit them.

Love shopping here when they have sales - otherwise, it can be a bit pricey. They do have a pretty good selection of clothes and it is easy to navigate the store to find what you are looking for. There are several customer service/register areas throughout the store so finding a place to check out at is easy as well and with there being multiples, checkout is usually quick and painless. Ive always found that the staff is really friendly and helpful. I also love the location because you can visit other stores in the mall if so desired.

Been a long time since I shopped JCP.Found a few good deals.

They have a great selection of clothing. I usually go because they have a great selection of plus size clothing. However, the only reason I did not give five stars is because there plus size cl ou thing is almost all wide:18w, 20w, 22w...I wish they would carry sizes without the wide.

Went in with my daughter who was down visiting and my 2 younger daughters. Were followed around by the male security in plain clothes everywhere we turned. Very scary for my teenager. Who was very uncomfortable. Stopped to look in my baby bag for a wipe and look up to see a male employee standing over me like I was stealing!!! I wont be back. Ever.

On 12/14/20 I bought a $230.00 necklace set for my daughter as a Christmas present and when she opened it it was broken. My wife went to the store to exchange or get another one on 12/26/20 and she was denied (only 12 days later). The customer service employee (Lorraine) told my wife that JCPenney (Lakeland) will not accept the return nor give back her money, all she could do is to send it for repairs.I just realize that JCPenney sell used jewelry and sells it as new.

It was a nice place. It has a little of everything that you might need at a very good price. My wife got two pairs of shoes for a great price.

I had a lot of color damage and they suggested a Malibu treatment to strip back to my natural color. It was very cheap and I highly recommend it! Emily did an amazing job on my cut and highlights. She even kept the salon open an hour late so she could finish them. I am grateful for that and I am so happy with the outcome!

Went in after Christmas looking for sales on jewellery boxes. Not one sales person on the floor. I asked for help at the jewellery counter. Ten minutes later as I was about to leave someone came. They had four pieces.... All over $200. What? Shop online, and NOT JCP.

My wife use to work in this exact store. This store range from shoes, fragrance, jewelry, makeup, clothes, head wear, glasses, cookware, home appliances, and many more. Customer service is great and they have some pretty neat deals. Qaulity products but sometimes the prices can be a little too high....

Placed an order online and after calling and checking on my order I find out it was lost, sent to the wrong store or returned. No one at the store could tell me where or why my order was not at the store. Poor tacking system they have, you cannot track your order like any other company when you place an order. I have a friend that went through the exact type of experience I had with ordering through JC Penney. I did have an order I had placed through them a few months ago. It was slow coming and again you cannot track your order. I am done with JC Penney. I plan on cutting my Penneys credit card up after my order credit is given back to me.

When I was leaving the alarm sounded. I thought it waa from a belt that I bought. At the same time the sales clerk signal me to go ahead. I believe she thought it was the belt. Sadly to say, when I got home a pair of pants that I bought had an alarm. Now I have to go back waste my time and gas just to have this taken off.
