I love Target. Its a big box store that really isnt. Being called a big box store and lumped in that discount bargain store category is not a good thing, in my book. And that unfairly labels Target...No longer a young big box store, Target is all growned up with its own brand and identity firmly intact. Wanting to be different and seperated from the bargain shopper genre of stores, Target has made great strides. Theyve gone off independently charting its own course and market. Unfortunately, the brands name is also strong related to DISCOUNTS and it may take time for TargetTarget always has inexpensive, stylish, trendy products that absolutely rival high end department stores and shops like Pottery Barn, Restoration, etc. And theyve always collaborated with famous, high end designers. It used to be knock off type products. Cheap versions of the overpriced real deal. And I was okay with that. But I am more happy to see the direction Target has taken over last couple years, and this is what sets this store apart from Walmart, Target has moved beyond replicating others popular items and has emerged as their own incredibly Hot brand themselves over last few years. They dont need to make their stuff look like West Elm or Williams & Sonoma... Target has developed its own brand... With super star designers lines made specifically to be sold at Target and this stores genius in-house creatives, Target has eeked out its own little niche... With prices still reasonable but not rock bottom cheap (thank goodness), Target is the high end, big box store sitting comfortably alone in between Macys and Kohls. And thats absolutely perfect for my picky consumerist habits.The products sold by high end, brand name Macys, Pottery Barn and such are horribly over priced and cliche.Shopping at discount stores with hoards of discount seeking Americans by the bulk at WalMart or wherever is not my cup of tea.The Target experience hovers in between those levels with clean, roomy stores, beautiful product displays, and helpful employees offering a no hassle shopping experience. The store sells the BEST STUFF! Colorful, boho style, minimalist, earthy scented, authentic, products with interest and texture and good vibes...Everything you basically need or want is available. All at affordable prices. beautiful, cool, sophisticated products at appropriate prices. The price point is honestly perfect bc it keeps people away. Some think its outrageously expensive and others think its still a big box store with cheap knock offs. Both aspects are wrong.Targets come a long way baby. What is as impressive as the Brands up to date, fashion sense is the sense of confidence and transparency they exude. Target seems real. What you see is what you get. Its a brand that I feel I personally know even though a brand is an abstract idea and notva human to get to know, technically.They keep it 100 with the vast, but distinctive markets they serve and thats awesome. They should be damn proud of what theyve become and unabashedly flaunt it. But they dont. And thats also impressive.As far as shopping in general goes, I prefer to shop on line. Target is the only store I love to go to and will go to in a heartbeat spending an inordinate amount of time shopping and perusing their goods.So this review is for Target Brand really. But this store in Lakeland Highlands would be the one in the Google maps here and the one Im referring to in this long writing.Target is where I prefer to shop. I respect the brand, their strength, their energy and momentum.... Positivity all around. They do business well.If you go... enjoy the Opal House line - fun, intriguing, artsy, boho products or Nate Berkus minimalist masculine stuff. A lot like Walmarts just not quite as busy. So shopping here at this time is much quicker cause lines arent no where as bad as any Walmart I have ever frequented. Clean covid prepared they have Plexiglas at cashier stations floor are swept employees are scurrying about filling up shelves in all departments. There is a bunch of spaces to park at this location.

Bella helped us so much. She was very professional and was able to print our gift receipt when we forgot to print one at the self checkout. Bella was able to find us the High Chair that we wanted in the back and it was such a relief.

The cashier basically made a laughing stock of my family because we are vegetarian and we chose her line to check out. It was horrible. She was super judgy, and kept saying well if it looks like meat why dont you eat just meat. Meanwhile shes all of 350 lbs and looks like she aint gonna make it to her 40s, yea we will definitely take your advice.

I shop here all of the time. I strongly prefer it over WalMart. Friendly staff, probably because Target pays a living wage, so the employees are happier. Affordable luxury and even groceries.

Its a Target.I wont generally buy clothes at one because for some reason they refuse to carry larger sizes. However for small electronics and household items this is one of the better options without going online.

If youre looking for a non crowded experience this may be the place for you. Youre going to pay more for your products but this is a great experience. Store is always clean, staff is friendly, and their clearance section is good too if you can catch it. Always a great shopping experience here.

Starbucks coffee inside building is terrible. Coffee was cold. Left on shelf. Shame on u. Target was nice.

This is a nice target. The bathrooms were a little gross. The clothes are arranged nicely in the womens section and athletic wear. Everything was easy to find. The food appeared fresh. There is also a Starbucks and Pizza Hut inside the store.

Their customer service, specially Mica, is amazing!! He helped me find a product that was out of stock and very informative about everything in the store.

The store itself is fine. The bathrooms were DISGUSTING!!!! My daughter had to go and I literally was sad she couldnt hold it because this was so gross. The Starbucks employees there were rude. I would just use the south side one.

Multiple times, weve requested the mask requirement be enforced and they refuse to do so despite it being corporate policy. its only a matter of time before customers start getting seriously sick here, let alone the poor employees forced in an unsafe environment to work. despicable.

Theyre online order and drive up service is wonderful 😊 we currently have a new baby and with Covid this definitely makes purchasing formula and diapers a breeze. Not too mention the staff interaction is minimal but theyre always so nice 👍

I stopped in to get some first aid supplies. They had what I needed. The store was clean. The staff were professional and doing their best to take care of the lines that were forming. I was probably 4th in line and only waited a few minutes total.

Easy to order and pick up saved me time

I am not happy with how the trading cards are being handled at this target. As I was walking inside to pick up something for my sons I saw the vendor putting out pokemon cards and football cards. I walk over and the security person puts my name and phone number down to get in line virtually (I am the 6th person in line). Keep in mind the vendor has only put maybe 10% of the product out. 40 mins later I get called up and everything is gone. What normally happens is the vendor texts his friends what time to be there at the target so they get the products. I literally get nothing. Yet somehow these other people were allowed to walk out with 3 or 4 large bags of cards. Why am I told to stand around for 40 mins just to waste my time. Also why put a sign out saying 1 product per person just to let them have a free for all. I am so disappointed with target and how they dont enforce their own rules and waste my time.

Tried to buy a $329 item that said it was in stock.. nobody that worked there could find it. Asked if I could order for pickup at a later date, and was told no.

Always a great Target to shop at when you need something! Their team members are very helpful and friendly. It’s the kind of service that Wal-Mart was once famous for doing. I went to this Target the night before Christmas Eve and although busy I noticed several associates in the electronics department helping customers with their smart TV purchases. On the other hand I went to a Wal-Mart on Christmas Eve and it was totally the opposite. Every five minutes they were on the intercom stating they were closing. This started when I got to the garden center gate and the employee telling me they closed at 6:00PM. Ok I knew it was 5:25PM but was told what time it was anyway. Keep doing what your doing Target and please build a store in Auburndale!

It’s so convenient! My order was ready way faster than I expected. The associate came right out to my car and was super friendly and asked where he could put my items. I would definitely use the service again and recommend it to anyone else, especially for large items such as cat litter and pet food bags, not to mention furniture.

The blonde manager in the customer service department is horrible. There was a sign placed right in front of cat toys and cat scratchers. It said buy 3 get 1 free, she then goes to claim cat scratchers are not a cat toy so would not be under that promotion. I remember working for another target the whole point is guest satisfaction. Worst experience I have ever had there. Iv always considered myself a target shopper. But will happily take my business else where at this point

Ordered a rug online to be picked up because it’s quicker all you have to do is get in line and show your barcode it’s supposed to be an easier alternative. Waited in line more than 15 minutes because one of the employees was calling around to every target trying to find a stand mixer. I think when the line is backed up you have to let the guest make the phone calls themselves. Apparently she should’ve called for back up but didn’t bother instead made everyone wait. Needless to say I will be not use it be using this method for pick up any longer.. I brought this up to a manager who kept saying he didn’t know the circumstances as to why she’s on the phone. I just told you why. Instead he offered I apologize for those circumstances. Can I please get the last 15 minutes of my life back.

Fast friendly service

During times like these I am especially patient, but whenever I see associates standing around doing nothing except chitchatting and hanging out, I become frustrated. I have seen multiple associates at this location just standing around and not helping customers, especially at the guest service area. I stood in line for over 30 minutes waiting to be helped while associates hangout and talk. It is like they are in no rush to help. Very unprofessional.

First the bathrooms need seat covers and paper towels not air dryers. Some kind of smell in the front and parts of the store, nice people who can help if you ask them if they are not chewing on their gum yuck. Store needs more of a selection of transformers but not a bad store get into and out off for the parking lot

I was looking for a gift for a family member and wasnt sure what exactly I needed. Cody in electronics was very helpful and quickly helped me find the game and I was checked out in electronics very quickly just a few days before Christmas.

I was surprised to see that I and my family had to walk all over the store to find an associate to assist us. Only giving a 2, because this locations stock associates were a bit more helpful. I already posted a review for the South location. This is the continuation.... I waited for 30 minutes at this location just to be informed that the Owlet smart sock monitor could not be located. At least this target checked the stock room and tried their hardest to locate an item their computer was showing as in stock. Target needs to work on organizing their inventory and communicating with their locations. I spent close to $100 at the first location and was ready to spend more. I brought this to the attention of guest services and the issue wasnt written down. Just felt like I told a wall. Very disappointed in my visits today. I spend a lot of money at Target, but after today youre slowly losing my business.

Not my store. But my can likes the Nutrish wet food selling there, so I came to get it.Observed entire store, purchased something, went to pay. No Cashier on place. yes, there were self service places, but I hard a coupon, so wanted to go with human . That was disappointment, Going further : I saw deal for yogurt:buy one get one free.No she charged me for each. When I asked why so - she said the deal was - buy 8 get 1 free (no, not so!-I checked).Moreover if she is running EACH item, then machine just does NOT see 8 all together - trick they use for such kind of deals. We just never check those people. Fruits- I thought it was $0.99 per lb for almost gone fruits (peaches, plums- all soft already). No it was 0.99 per piece. I guess even Whole Foods do not dare to sell like that .Conclusion - not many people there, very poor grocery section, produce all full of tricky offers and prices . Major point - The company is building its business on tricks to customers.Well, not for me. I would never come there - no one wants to be tricked.

I just love going to Target. I currently live in the middle of nowhere and the closest Target is an hour away from me so any time I get to go, is generally lovely.

Theyre so racist. The 2 times in the week I visited, when asking for help, was cut short and passed on to any everybody else and they go jump and help white customers. One employee even lied and said they didnt have an item I was looking for and advised I went elsewhere and played apologetic when I found what I was looking for. I will never shop there again.

I don’t usually leave reviews for targets or Walmart’s but you need to give credit we’re credit is due today I went to target and purchased a tv and some new home items I was overwhelmed the sales man Jared b was not only patient and helpful he went above and beyond to make sure we got what we need that we understood the tv and came out to loud it refused my tip I offered him saying it’s ok he made our day so easy thank youuuu Jared you were awesome and made a big difference in what was a hard day for me thanksss

I enjoy my shopping experience at Target, they make it easy to get in and out, however I recently purchased a product in store that did not have have the correct list price on the shelf or online as what was charged at the register. I used self checkout so I do expect the price to be correct instead of seeing an unpleasant surprise on the receipt when I’m at home after I’ve wrapped a birthday gift 😑
