This is an A+ hair salon! I had a Japanese hair straightening treatment there and I loved the outcome! My hair is not wavy anymore. It looks straight and healthier now. Just as I wanted it! Isabel did an awesome job with my hair: she explained every little step of the treatment to me, and evaluated my hair to determine what the best product for it was. That was a real personalized hair care session! She was also always caring of how I felt or how comfortable I was. The manager and employees are all very polite and make you feel welcomed and taken care of too! Prices are convenient, the facility is always clean and the whole place is very professional! 100% recommended!!!

Went to this hair salon for the very first time. On the price board stated $31.00 for shampoo, haircut and blow dry. The woman that cut my hair was older. She asked me 4 times in the matter of 10 minutes if I had children? I answer ed her each time. She did not seem engaged. She quoted me a price when cutting my hair of $41.00. Thought she misspoke as she seemed preoccupied. There was no disclaimer on the board for an up charge of $10.00 for thicker hair. My hair is not even shoulder length and only received a long layered bob. My hair is average for a woman of 64. Thank goodness the manager offered me a coupon.and made my first experience right. There was little of any product used on my hair. Thought it was kinda scammy. Who determines what is thick hair and what isnt? Do they shave the price off people that are bald or have thin hair?

I am astonished at the work that Mrs. Tara went through to help fix the highlighting And cut catastrophe of another’s work! spent several hours Fixing my razor cut (by Mrs.Cindy) and partial Highlight(by Mrs.Tara) I am beyond blessed and grateful to have come into this Fantastic Sams and allowed Mrs.Tara to correct the wrong that was done! She went above and beyond to makes things right and I Thank You for all you did today! 🥰 I most definitely WILL BE COMING BACK. Thanks so much!

First time at this salon. Kristy did my shampoo, cut and style. She understood exactly what I was asking for. Very experienced. I love my new pixie haircut! Plan to reschedule with Kristy in a few weeks when I need another cut.

My second great haircut with Kristy. I need cuts every 4-5 weeks to maintain my style. Will continue to reschedule with her.

My Mom and I went together. It was very busy but we both were very happy with our cuts. Cindy and Rose were both very nice. I will definitely make an appointment next time.

I love this place! Ive been going there since I was a little girl and since I have really curly hair, I get nervous about someone cutting my dead ends but Tara The Manager located in North Lakeland does an excellent job. I highly recommend this place.

People are very sweet here and is clean for pandemic but longer then needed wait. gurl up front needs more hands then she has.should have more help there. You wait from check in to sitting to check out.. phone calls between line of people to check out. Not there fault but to much for one person on weekene.and tell my cosmetic Im here. Easy fix to me. Grate service otherwise! Will come back. Thank you

I had a very nice hairstylist, she knew what she was doing and explained everything she was about to do! The complaint I have is they didnt accept my coupon. There was a sign at the check out, they only accept coupons MondayMonday-Thursday. But it didnt state that on the ad! Not only that, no one asked if I was a senior. Seniors get a discount Everyday no coupon needed!

I went to Fantastic Sams to get highlights and a brow wax today. Great service, very clean salon. Amy was my stylist shes awesome my hair is done exactly the way I expected it to look like. Stylists here are very outgoing and polite, you can tell they are a close nit group. Keep up the awesome work ladies

Do not honor their appointment times or make courtesy calls. Apparently my time does not matter. I came in to see Arieanna. I arrived at 11:55AM and was not notified that there would be a wait time after setting a highlight appointment which was given a 2 hour slot. Waited 15 minutes to check in with the desk assistant who said that she was finishing up with a customer. I waited another 15 minutes and then asked if she would have time to complete my highlights by 2:00PM, as I have other things to do, she indicated that it was unlikely. She missed out on a future well tipping client. I am usually a quiet, kind, patient and understanding person, but that is unprofessional and unacceptable.

This salon is always clean .They are always so kind.However, their hairstylist vary.Rose is amazing. Shes always busy, so its a hit or miss on the days I dont think about making an appointment.Jessica is also amazing. Shes been doing my hair colors and I love it every time!My daughter and I have been cut by different people and the outcome hasnt always been the best or good at all. I let someone attempt to take 5 inches off, but I had to go back to get another inch off to correct what the first stylist did. Not fun at all.

Tara is my favorite she is nice and friendly. I have bad anxiety and I cant go anywhere to have my hair cut. My mom has been seeing her for years so I gave her a try and up front told her about my anxiety. She was so kind and sweet. It was the most pleasant hair cut I have ever had. I have been seeing her for 8 years now and am so comfortable with her I can now get a shampoo a cut and even a blow out. 2 years ago i even got a perm. She is AMAZING

First I have been haunting Fantastic Sams for over a decade and still go back. Tara is fantastic professionally gifted at her craft but I also find her charming and delightful. She puts the PERSON in personality. The salon is clean and inviting, sometimes hectic but Tara always seems cool, calm and professional. The staff greets me and they try to accommodate my needs as promptly as possible. In past years the leadership has changed and other hairdressers come and go. Tara is my hairdresser now and I am very happy. My hair color is spot on! Give it try and tell them author, Louise James sent you💖

I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER FANTASTIC SAMS AGAIN. I understand with covid masks are required, but when a customer cant wear a mask because of breathing issues, and is refused service just because they are wearing a mask, but its not covering the nose is disgusting. Fantastic Sams made me feel like my personal health issues were of no importance, and that I should be another one of the faceless masked masses. I was not treated as and individual and thats just sad. I did not get a haircut because I value breathing.

Ive been here a few times....almost every single time Ive come to get my hair cut Ive had to come back the next day to get it fixed. I am not a stylist, I dont cut hair (other than my boys & hubby with the clippers) but I dont think its that hard to cut one side the same length as the other. If youre wanting a different style....one side longer than the other....this is your place. IF I come back here again, Im only going to see Rose...shes fixed my hair twice now and is the only one Ive encountered there that seems to know what shes doing.

Ive been booking with Mireille now for over a year, and Ive always been extremely happy. Now that my mother has moved in Ill start booking her as well.

All of the stylists are very warm and welcoming in the shop, Vanessa does my hair and shes very sweet and I absolutely love the way she cuts, colors and styles my hair. I am fairly particular but she meets every need with seemingly no effort at all. Ive left the place really digging on other cuts and colors being performed there as well. They definitely have a good vibe and great team there!

Walked in with my boyfriend to get his haircut they told us that unless he had a mask they couldnt cut his hair unfortunately we didnt have one so we decided to leave. One of the girls up front at the desk as we were leaving sarcastically said have a great day and God bless well never be back

I visited this salon tonight for the first time. I made my appt online a few days ago, which was very nice and easy to do. My original lady who does my hair at another salon was booked for a month and I didnt want to wait, so I took a chance here at Fantastic Sams. I did read reviews beforehand, and they were really good. So I was hopeful. My appointment was with Sharon. She did an amazing job today. Its so hard for me to find someone who actually does what you ask. I showed her a picture we talked a while about exactly what I wanted and she did it!! It was perfect and turned out beautiful!!! Even better then I expected. I will definitely be going back and will try to spread the word about this salon. Its really nice inside too. Very modern! Great experience from start to finish!

Have tried for two years and at many different salons to get the simple bob cut I wanted. Several different stylists have appeared to listen, then gave me the cut they decided I needed, some with truly disasterous results. Heartfelt thanks to Sonja for listening and then asking questions as she cut.My husband had his hair cut at the same time. We both looked much better walking out than we did walking in.Great cuts, great service, great price. Made an appointment before leaving. Will definitely be recommending this Fantastic Sams to everyone I know.

Got a bad haircut, my hair is very fine and hard to cut. Every snip of the scissors shows so you have to be a really good stylist to get it right. I called 2 days after the cut and said I tried to live with it but needed it cut again. You have to get it done within 3 days and I explained that I was working 60 hours plus moving my daughters furniture and I would be back when I had a minute. All I got was, our policy is 3 days. I went back the 3rd day even though I didnt have time and am still not satisfied but its better than it was. I probably wont go back.

I have gone to this location 3 times this year. On my first time, I was very pleased with the staff and stylist. On my second visit I wasnt able to get the same stylist as I was a walk in due to my busy schedule. I was not happy with my stylist or my haircut, but I lived with it and made it work. Im very easy going and decided I would not let one bad cut keep me from giving another shot. On my 3rd visit, again was not happy with the service or the stylist. I asked for wispy bangs and it looks like someone placed a bowl over my head. This is truly the worst cut I have ever received in my life. Not pleased at all.

Ive had such a great experience at this location. Im willing to drive about 45 minutes from Wesley Chapel just to get my hair done here by Vanessa. She is amazing! She take the time to really understand your hair type and how its going to react to what you want done.

I only get my hair done here. They have fantastic stylists, reasonable wait times, and great customer service. I go to them for everything; hair cut, color, highlights and styling. I have curly hair and it is always difficult to find a place that knows how to cut and style my hair in a way that I like. Ive always left happy.

The ease of getting an appointment is great. I never have to ask for a hair stylist by name because anyone that Ive ever used there has done excellent work. They all are courteous, take their time and make sure everything is to my liking. I only get shampoos and haircuts/layering but if I ever decide to color my hair professionally I would definitely use this specific Fantastic Sams. I highly recommend this hair salon to all my friends and family. Ive been going for years and have no plans to change anytime soon.

I go here to get my hair done and they do a good job but I feel like their employees dont want to cut your hair the way you want it done. I was here the other day and the girl wanted me in and out instead of cutting my hair the way I wanted and was willing to pay for she decides to cut it her way. Amy does a good job and Caitlyn who they used to have working their did as well but the young girl with glasses wants to do simple cuts and not what you want.

Love this place, its my 5th curly perm here!For a little over 100 dollars; I went from long, flat straight hair to tight, long, beautiful curls. Curly and springy like a phone cord! And if I fluff it up...I get big hair. The wait and the process is well worth it!Be patient for this look.For the look I wanted, per my request, they used pink rods (over 200 rods). Because I have thick hair, for me it always takes 2 hours to roll.My warning. if you dont know how to tame lots of little curls, this style is NOT for you. If you love brushes, this style is NOT for you. If you dont have time in the mornings to wet/pick/scrunch, this style is NOT for your. This specific style might freak you out.BUT.... I Love it!Ask for stylist Isabella!

I like it if you can get in. It is very hard to get an appointment especially when the snowbirds are in town. I am a regular who wished they had never gone to appointments because I never know when I am going to be able to go. They still take walk- ins but good luck getting one of the stylist you prefer.

They are always friendly and helpful and Vanessa is the best stylist ever. She is very professional, knowledgeable and trained in the styles and products. Ask for Vanessa you wont be sorry.

I went to the N Lakeland shop and had the best experience! I had Vanessa do my color cut and shampoo. Once that was done she showed me how she did the blow drying and my color and cut is amazing! I will be going back!

Loved our hair dresser. Dont like how they stand next to you while checking out to watch for how much you tip. Totally made me uncomfortable and obligated to tip more than I was comfortable. Please stop doing this. Im sure Im not the only one who didnt like this
