I went to this store on Sunday to shop for the week. Some of the items were rotten and had mold. I got a bag of mini carrots - half rotten. I got the little tomatoes in the container - most were soft. I got chicken broth - moldy. It’s only Wednesday so who knows what else will be bad. What a waste of money. I will not be going back.

I am so glad I started shopping at Winn Dixie again The employees are helpful and polite. I am a senior citizen. The cashier unloaded my shopping cart for me I am grateful for this. I will continue to shop there.

We stopped here on our way to River Ranch POA to get the items we needed for camping over the weekend. Its located next door to Rural King so it is very convenient and the parking lot provides enough space for a truck pulling a trailer.

The Deli people always courteous and dont keep you waiting.

Its layout is just like my home town Winn-Dixie so everything was easily found.

The store is fine but variety or selection of shopped items is limited.

Dirty, dingy. A lot of the lights are burned out, rust on the coolers. The stores probably been there 30 years but looks like its been there for 70. Dont think Id buy meat or seafood from here based on what the rest of the store looks like. Good prices though.

I do want to add to my 5-star review. Having seen several trash tier Winn-Dixie shops in Polk County (Combee Rd and Auburndale), this one here in Lake Wales is very clean and orderly inside. It does not smell like a teen boys laundry hamper (Auburndale). I have never been panhandled or threatened for being honest by saying I have no cash to said panhandlers (Combee).The produce department is well lit, correct temp and beautiful food selections! No bruised or moldy items in sight.The aisles for shelved goods are wide enough to get through comfortably with social distancing rules in effect till who-knows-when.Havent used the bathrooms but I have never heard anyone tell me to avoid their bathrooms.Parking lot is good with the angled parking and many buggy catcher areas, good shade trees to park under. It shares the lot with a furniture rental and Rural King.You guys are keeping me out of that misery known as Wal-Mart more and more, that says a lot!

The carts are always charged. Very important as I am disabled. The store is always neat and isles are clear. The shelves are stocked whenever I go in which is often and the customer service is always very pleasant.

Meat men are excellent. Some cashiers are good, others not so much. The big negative is that the fresh milk spoils early and they seem to have ongoing refrigeration problems.

An absolutely beautiful, pristine park to visit. Whether a hiker, camper, RVer, fisherman, equestrian or family Lake Kissimmee State Park has so much to offer. The wonderful staff cant be thanked enough for the hard work they do every day to protect this natural environment and the wildlife within, while creating a warm and healthy interaction. Have a couple hours, half a day, a full day or a long week this is a great place to spend that time. Want to get away, have a family picnic, fish the lake, walk the trails, bird watch, observe nature, sleep under the stars, stroll on your horse, or photograph beautiful scenery, this is an delightful choice. And, we mustnt forget about Cow Camp; a wonderful learning opportunity provided by the park for all ages to understand ole times in Florida.

This Winn-Dixie is waaaaaaaay out of date the layout makes no sense displays are falling apart no lights in certain freezers only half of their shopping carts have been updated the other half can barely be pushed. but it has good employees so it gets two Stars for that.

Went there today to buy lobster tail for my sons birthday dinner. They really didnt have a great selection, but I did find a great buy on t-bone steak I got 4 thick pieces for $16.00, so maybe had to go someplace else for the lobster tail, but I got a great deal on the t-bone.

Shopping early was great. Found everything on my list. Was doing Walmart online order and getting messages out of stock. Finally gave up and went to Winn Dixie in person and found a.

This is an old store and unfortunately it looks like it, HOWEVER, they keep it very clean and well stocked. The older employees are very polite and helpful, while the younger ones are polite but you can tell they are only here bc they have to be. The deli person likes to stay in the back and ignore people waiting at counters. I watched her walk back in forth, never once looking to see if someone was wanting deli.. I waited 15 minutes then said screw it. The meat and seafood guys are awesome and on the ball.. Im pretty sure if you wanted a certain kind of meat and they didnt have it, they would go butcher up a cow to get it for you 🤭. I hardly ever see anyone in the bakery. The produce was clean and stocked, just needs more selection and variety in my opinion. Over all is a good place to shop. (They do have a few items that I cant find anywhere else.)

Less expensive meats but understocked by the end of the weekend on sale items. Produce isnt that great. You can save money here though.

We like this Winn Dixie. It stocks pretty much everything and its easy to navigate. The staff is friendly and they have great BOGOS. The coupon app is awesome too if you havent tried it. They also have adorable miniature buggies for the kiddos that makes shopping with my toddler bearable. Ive tried their cakes and they are actually really good. One time Publix lost my order for my sons birthday cake and I called Winn Dixie. They saved the day with an awesome Dinosaur cake and it was really something to see. They have all the basic produce and a few extras but no specialty items. Id like to see them expand their produce, baking section (Stocking King Arthur bread flour and other baking needs), and their bakery goods. The manager they have now is super friendly. This store is my first choice in LW.

Best friendly grocery store that still treats you like your family and not someone who might get them infected if you get to close. And at least they have the little bags so you can put your chicken into, so you dont get chicken juice over your other items.So I say keep up the good work and my hats off to you for still being friendly to your customers.

Today is Thanksgiving Day, I went to Winn-Dixie because I said they were open today. They were closed. Dont put it out there if youre not going to be doing what you say. While I was there I bet 20 people went to the door before I could even pull out.

It was nice. Friendly people there. I will come again soon.

The amount of people working registers makes sense for the amount of customers they have. So it didnt feel overcrowded but its also didnt feel like it was lacking employees

During these times in the world I was looking at how clean the store is and what they do to prevent spreading covid-19. Every worker was wearing a mask, the bathroom was very clean, and they had plexiglass on the registers. This Winn-Dixie has my ok.

Dont like their Weekend Sales. Went there for three items on sale and shelves were bare. Mentioned that at checkout and was told theres probably some in back or coming in tomorrow. Seems like a waste of advertising dollars and my time to not have the inventory that is on sale!Check your receipt for errors because management doesnt always remove all the sales tags when the sale is over and you get charged full price.Other than that, I love this store!

For a Winn Dixie this place is pretty decent. Still wish they would update the inside to be more modern and clean however the staff is so polite and helpful and the shelves are always stocked well.

This has to be the oldest Winn Dixie in Florida and it shows. The bathrooms are equivocal to a gas station off an exit on an interstate. Produce leaves a lot to be desired. Staff are friendly and helpful. This places needs a lot of TLC.

Limited access to a majority of produce items and deli after 6pm. Workers are pleasant until about 9:40 pm when they make several announcements of their 10pm close time. None.of them want to work late and it shows as they rush you out and have the doors locked minutes beforehand. If you cant count on product availability after 6pm then how can it be a one stop grocery shopping experience?

I like shopping at Winn-Dixie, primarily for the specials in their weekly sales ad. The BOGO and 2-For-1 Specials can be pretty incredible! I also really appreciate that the staff members are genuinely friendly and helpful.
