There was an hour wait, several people werent very happy. It was cool and comfortable inside and one technician brought bottled waters out. Seems like a very slow process to get new equipment or even pay a bill. Should be streamlined for faster service, add a 3rd rep? I did get what I wanted after an hour wait and another 20 minutes to get a new modem. I had to leave the car running for my dog, which isnt uncommon in the desert. Overall, it was okay.
The highest-speed Internet service is not sufficient for remote workers...especially if you have anyone else home streaming while youre on Zoom.Telephone customer service...archaic system, less than knowledgable CSRs and very POOR followthrough/communication.
Customer service is lacking to the point of being comical. While on speaker phone with customer service my co-workers were laughing because of what was being said by the person on the other end - not good for wanting to obtain new business for Suddenlink. All I need is a replacement cable box....what you have to go through is ridiculous. Cant I just get a replacement via mail and I send back the other? Do I really need a technician to do this? Suddenlink needs to improve customer service training. At this time experiences demonstrate a lack of valuing their customers. If there exists any company policy that demonstrates valuing the relationship with the customer, there then is a break in the conveying of that message successfuly. Unless I hear of a change in treatment to customers, I will be seeking other providers.
Ive NEVER received so much junk mail...even before I was customer..I called several times a year for several years to remove me from mailing list and has never stopped! So sick of the waste paper and plastic cards...I think Ill start writing return to sender!
Branch in havasu is well beyond incompetent. Not surprised. Turned in all my equipment and cancelled my service. The lady up front was clueless and said everything is all set. Turns out the branch cannot cancel service and I had to call in to do so. Now I’m on the hook for another months service when this was there fault.

Internet is always down but they expect payment on the due date. Your better off purchasing a mobil hot spot from AT&T or Verizon for $100 flat & you will get the best service ever. .. Ive had more problems with my Suddenlink internet service for my business than I can handle. When you are relying on your internet service for your business and livelihood, I couldnt be more disappointed. Whenever I call for technical support, no one has ever been available to assist. When I log in to my account, it says I no longer have an active internet service. They dont deserve to be in business. Frontier isnt much better.

Really poor service, I think we will cancel our service pay the cancelation fee and go with someone else. I guess I learned my lesson. Funny thing is it worked great for like 4 weeks, now it won’t work for 30 seconds. And their customer service is terrible.

My father was a Suddenlink customer who passed in December leaving an account credit. I have reached out to Suddenlink three time by phone and three times at the local office after being instructed to do so. I was initially told that any credit cannot be refunded but can only be credited against new service. After filing a complaint, I was then told a check was being issued, which of course never came. I was then told I needed to visit the local office in person, which I did. I was then told that the credit was eaten up by missing equipment, which is not the case. Maria at the local office personally accepted all the equipment within days of his passing and has informed the corporate office of this fact.I find it unbelievable that any company would act in this manner. I am making one more attempt before filing a complaint with the Arizona Attorneys Office.
Once the sun goes down, so does the wifi. Im so tired of little to signal during the times Im actually home to use the internet. Streaming works fine on most occassions, but trying to play any online games is just a disconnecting nightmare. The audacity to charge as much as they do for such poor internet quality is insane!

My primary home in California has not had this problem with our internet company and the price remains constant. $83.99 is a ridiculous price to be charged for internet only! Suddenlink is a “who you get on the phone” game. It depends on the knowledge of the representative. For all the bad calls I got a good rep. It’s tough with only 2 companies that don’t require a contract. 3 stars rounds out the good and bad service
Recently moved and put in a forwarding address through the post office. Also went to Suddenlink’s web site and mailed my new mailing address to them as required. My payment was 2 days late as my last 2 bills have been forwarded and I’m hit with a $10 late fee. They don’t care. No consideration regardless that I have done everything on my end and have been a customer for over 12 years. Looking for another internet company.
Waited 3 months to get my internet up and running, finally gave up turned my box in and waiting for a total refund as promised. We will see if I have to go to the attorney general or not.

I called tech support to resolve this issue and they now cant find an account or any info. I requested to speak to a supervisor and they refused to speak to me. What a joke! The worst company I have ever had the misfortune of having to do buisness with.The technician managed to completely mess up the modem install so that the modem is not registered, and theres no internet associated with our account. But he did somehow manage to falsly report that we have landlines service which we did not order and do not have.We have spent every day since our internet was setup on the phone with customer service. All they have done is transfer us from department to department with no resolution and refused to send someone out to restore our internet for more than a week. Oh, and they are refusing to honor the inital price that I signed a contract for and have the receipt, confirmation #, cart ID and copy of the agreed upon contract for. Suddenlink has 100% and completely failed to provide and internet service and has not done anything to fix the issue.We have not had internet for a single service. This is beginning to shift from incompetence to successful perform legally agree upon services and to honor a legally binding contract to blatant and outright fraud.Avoid at all cost.
Internet constantly goes down, and usually takes a week or more to come back up. Not worth the price at all, especially with such lacking service... No compensation for down time, and poorly automated phone system makes me feel like were in SouthPark.

I have placed multiple phone calls, spoken to multiple managers, had multiple escalation calls and nothing. Absolutely nothing. I literally have never been so upset at a company in my life. Run as fast as you can away from them. You will regret signing up with them. I will be cancelling all six of my accounts.

The customer service is nonexistent . So sad that we live in an area where there are so few choices. Just to name a few problems, hours of waiting on the phone and often being hung up on. Long waits at the office on Acoma. Appointment being canceled and not letting us know. Charging things on my bill that I did not order. My husband and I ran a business in California for 18 years, had we run it like this we would have been broke and out of business. That is what Suddenlink should be.
Need to exchange my remote drive to the office and has a sign on door out to lunch back at 2pm go back and a long line waiting outside. It is not posted on the web sight that they close for lunch. I have been trying to call all the numbers listed but the line so dead after my call is answered. Why cant something about this business? If I could use someone else I would. Service is sporadic at best. Customer service is the worst, IF you can even reach someone, employees are not trained properly and tell you whatever they need to to just finish the call. When you call in to try and end service or change service, suddenly your bill is higher because you bundled services, so youre stuck. Worst internet and cable provider I have ever seen. We are snowbirds who use our service about 4 months of the year. When we leave we can put it on seasonal for 6 months then need to pay the full amount for 1 month before we can extend the seasonal. No other company anywhere requires the one month full payment. We are not there and are not using any of their service at all!! Every time I receive a bill my blood pressure goes up!! Cant understand whey the bills are impossible to decipher - even if you call a representative. Seasonal is $10 a month and that is the ONLY amount I should see on the bill. The rep I spoke to to day says it shows we are on seasonal then why does our bill say we owe $58. He says he will call me back because he cant figure it out! The WORST!!!!!!!!!!

When I first called in to get a quote,I was told the total to have service installed and the first month would be $130 paid when tech arrives.When the tech arrived he was a pro and had 3 tvs hooked up and phone on internet up and at 200 meg speed.Every thing went smooth until 2 weeks later a bill arrives from them stateing I owe $60 more for what I was told was a FREE install.....we paid it after the unprofesional 2 phone calls I had with them resolved nothing and was told good luck with that by the phone tech because I said I would just switch companies.She was such a charm to work with, not.My first bill another 2 weeks later was for $185, in 4 years it has slowly risen to over $219 a month, no explanation.BUYER BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.....

Just called to set up my WiFi after just moving here, lots of bad reviews about customer service but the woman Ann who helped me out got it handled in less than 25 minutes and never even put me on hold, very nice lady and extremely helpful
Its already all been said in other posts. They are the only show in town NOT much you can do and THEY know it too. Absolutely the worse but like I said before they can be!
Customer Service called me after my intial complaint re: overall service. They reduced my monthly bill and offered to upgrade my svc to 400mps. After 1 hour on the phone, I am lucky to receive 150mps. Tech support had nothing to offer for a solution. I now need to rearrange schedule to meet a tech at a part time home to determine why the 400mps svc is less than half I pay for each month.
They make sure you pay for service however they dont provide service I havent had consistent connection in a month have techs at thw hoise a couple times a year but it only ever helps for a short time and always ends with some story about it being out at the pole and someone will come out and fix it but that never seems to happen. Ive never dealt with a worse company if there were any other option for me Id take it if youre reading this and have another option even if its more expensive take it and save yourself the frustration
If you can get someone good to come out and help you then it’s fine..for the most part a tech will come out and say he can’t help you, he has to come back..that was after taking off two seperate work days waiting for them, and just to change out a router. Saying that, it’s the only decent Internet service you’ll get in LHC and it’s expensive.

I called Suddenlink to inquire on their service and What they could offer me in the way of setting up three televisions and the Internet. After giving her my name, she wanted to know what cell Service provider I have and I told them Verizon and then she started to do a sales pitch on saving me money, switching to another provider that they gave. I told her, that I was not interested in changing cell service just please stick with the TV and Wi-Fi. She thought I was interrupting her, because she couldn’t finish her sales pitch on the cell service and actually 100% hung up on me. As you read all the reviews they are extremely bad. One star or two star at the best they are horrible customer service I really wanted to go with them I just didn’t want a new cell phone provider and it’s a real shame because her and I both lost out. Not a fan of frontier out there in Havasu, because they have two different set ups and companies one for Internet and the other for television which cost way too much then if you could get them both together under one Company.
The last month has been a nightmare. Im being charged for a balance at my old residence that I paid off when I moved. Ive called six times in the last five weeks. Sit on hold for an hour or more, have to explain the whole thing every time, and get no where. They tell me its been sent for review and will take 5-7 business days, yet its been a month. I try to talk to a supervisor or someone that can help me and they say all they can do is email them and have someone call me back (which no one ever calls back). One lady told me that my payment was rejected. Yet it came out of my account and never put back in. I even called my bank just to verify, and yes the payment was made and went through. Not to mention during this I had almost two weeks of service issues. Honestly never had issues before, but this is horrible. If this isnt resolved soon I will be canceling and finding another service.
I get the impression from my experience and the other comments that Suddenlink treating folks poorly is the standard. Because theyre the only game in town, they can do whatever they want. I tried to get set up as a new customer of their highest Service Level of internet and I was told I couldnt because of a past due balance at my address for a different account holder.The excuse they gave me is that because were related, which I understand, but the cut the conversation off completely. The balance was from EIGHT YEARS AGO and I wasnt in the home at the time but they still wouldnt set me up.I need to work and right now Im forced to use my phones mobile hotspot because I cant get someone to reach out to see what kind of compromise can be made on this eight year balance. The front line billing rep had no power for negotiation and the call from the escalation team that I was promised would come that day, is now late by three days. I need to get something set up and this company is making it difficult. Ive never seen a company fight so hard NOT to have a new customer, paying at their highest monthly service level. Come on!Update 12/5/20: I messaged their Facebook as requested. The message was read and ignored. Such a shameful company.Update 12/15/20: After putting in a BBB complaint, I finally received a call from an escalations team. When speaking with the Corporate escalations rep, he advised me that there was no amount in collections for an account tied to my address. He notated my account and sent me back to sales. When getting back to sales, they again refused to install telling me the same thing. The rep I was working with was incredibly unprofessional. Talking to me like I was his buddy. Even had the audacity to tell me during the call, Yo dog, call your mom and tell her to pay off the balance. Its not that hard. In what world is that acceptable. Throughout the 30+ minute call, I was put on hold multiple times being told he was speaking with his supervisor. I asked to speak to this person since the rep was unwilling to help, and he told me that he was actually speaking to his desk neighbor. I again requested a supervisor and was placed on hold. After about a 5-10 minute hold, he disconnected the line and did not call back. Ridiculous!

This has to be the worst service I have ever had. I pay almost $200 a month for cable internet and phone. Tv works when it feels like it internet is in and out ALL the time. When you call for help you get connected to someone in India or Pakistan. I’ve had 4 technicians out in the last 3 months and they all pawn it off on the next one. Oh it’s further down the line or it’s beyond my job function etc. makes it real frustrating when you are working from home and you have internet issues all the time. I’mCurrently looking for another provider but not many other choices in a small town so they got ya by the balls.
For a nursing student who has to do everything online now, having your internet cut out every two minutes for the past few months is extremely frustrating. We have had someone come over twice now saying that the problem is fixed and it is not. We got charged $60 for him to come and the issue was not on our end. My mother has had to wait in line at suddenlink for 1.5 hours for them to tell her they will take the charge off only to find they did not. She stood in line for another 1.5 hours today for them to do absolutely nothing. When I have to take exams in an allotted time frame and my internet cuts out or I have lecture via zoom, this is frustrating and there is no one else in town we can use. What a shame. The lack of professionalism is appalling.

The call was outsourced to India, as usual. The technician didn’t have good command of the English language and was unable to help in any way. I asked to schedule to have a technician come out to my house and was told it was unreasonable because he had already worked with me on the issue.Hire Americans PLEASE!
I have been trying for 3 weeks now to get internet installed at my new house. We already have a business account for our office in Lake Havasu yet cannot for the life of me get our home internet installed.I drove 4.5 hours to get it installed the first time just to find out they would need to bury a new line underground. Ok, that’s inconvenient but it is what it is. Technician tells me he will put in the work order and it will be done within 10 days. After nobody reached out to me I contacted SuddenLink and they schedule the line to be buried underground last Friday. On Monday of this week I checked to see if the job was done and they tell me it was and schedule the internet to be installed Thursday. I DRIVE 4.5 HOURS AGAIN JUST TO FIND OUT THEY NEVER COMPLETED THE JOB. The technician gives me his phone number and tells me he will call me later in the day to confirm when and how this will get taken care of. At 2pm on Thursday he calls and says good news, they can come tomorrow between 1pm and 5pm. NOBODY SHOWS UP AGAIN!This is the most unprofessional and incompetent company I have ever dealt with. If somebody doesn’t call me on Monday, I can cancelling the internet at our Lake Havasu office and our home.

My cellphone hotspot has faster speed and better reliability; literally not exaggerating either haha. Some of the slowest speeds in the state at a premium price; someone needs to step in at this point because it’s been an issue for years in the city for basically a monopoly service.

Thru the service calls we have all new wiring in the home all the way to their pole and still nothing. When you call it is an hour hold time and they usually hang up on you. The operators are located in India and it is very hard for them to communicate easily. When you ask for a manger there never is one. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH ANY OF YOUR SERVICES. WORST COMPANY EVER!!!
We pay for 100 Mb speed and we NEVER get that speed. Our numbers are in the single digits. If you have Suddenlink you should run a speed test to see what speed you are getting as opposed to what you are paying for, I am sure you will see a vast difference. Last week we did not have internet for 4 days! We use it every day for work and college. I would give Suddenlink a negative star if this system would let me. I had an outage last year and I tried and tried to get a credit on my bill but again it never came. I was told we would get one but nothing. When I ask about it now they say it was from too far back. They have their system set up so you cannot reach them for issues like this without spending huge amounts of you time to fight them. Their customer service is non existent.

I WISH I could give negative stars. This company is only still alive because there is 0 other options in Lake Havasu. You can’t even speak to an actual suddenlink worker unless you go in person, because their customer service is immediately transferred to indians in a call center in Bangladesh where you can LITERALLY hear other indians yelling on the phones in the background. I ordered a new internet line a week ago now, they keep showing up and “forgetting” their bucket truck and having me reschedule. Well, I’ve rescheduled 3 times now and they keep “forgetting”. At this point I haven’t had internet for a week and I’m about to lose my f*cking job, this is the WORST service provider I’ve ever witnessed in my life. This is the worse internet company! Day 2 with no internet, and nobody will help in customer service. Let me ask you a question. Have you tried unplugging the main server for 5 seconds, then plug it back in?

Would of given them 2 stars but the office people are trying their best to help. This company is so worried about the bottom line that they laid off all there workers and made then independent contractors and there customer and quality of service shows. Nobody should have to wait a 1 and half hours in your building and not recieve any help for your lack of quality service that you charge a premium for.
