I recently took my bass boat from Phoenix to Shimmer Marine, since they are the only authorized service center in Arizona. I was impressed with the long list of things they checked on the motors 100 hr service. They even did a few minor extra things that were not expensive and yet easy to do while they were working on the motor. They even performed a trailer inspection. When I picked up my boat they provided me with a bag of the old parts. Very fair pricing for what they did. I will certainly return for more work. Just wish it wasnt a 3 1/2 hr drive, but its worth it to take it to someone trustworthy.

Wonderful experience. Only 2 Suzuki outboard dealers in AZ and this one is outstanding, even though its 3 times as far away. Our 2005 50 hp outboard sat in the sun for a year with old gas and they cleaned it out, replaced some parts and it just PURRRS. You can hardly hear it run, starts every time. They were fast, precise, reasonably priced and when I had a question, after the first run, they answered it correctly and immediately Will definitely go back if I ever need service.

Shimmer Marine is the best shop for Pontoon style boats in Lake Havasu City. From simple repair and service to complete reconditioning. I had a 2003 Playcraft completely redone and most folks thinks its a new boat.

Let me start by saying Thank you to the staff and mechanics you are truly a class act! After having a preventative maintenance performed at a Mercruiser dealer in Albuquerque, NM we set out on a 9 hour pull to Lake Havasu. Arriving in the wee hours in the morning for the maiden voyage of our new used boat the nightmare began. At 6am during one of the most beautiful sunrise mornings, and glass looking out across the lake not more than 3 mins later the melting started, port side exhaust melted, riser was on fire and ECM saving the motor from melt down, we nursed our new boat back to the dock and began to search service shops. After coming across the rave reviews of previous customers of Shimmer Marine that was where our boat was going. With little to no hope to get in and get out of a shop in time to boat during our long stay reluctantly I made the call to Shimmer, Michael answered promptly and courteously coached me though how to get it back to the trailer and directions to Shimmer from our location. Upon arrival we where greeted the same way with empathy and optimism, that the problem would be resolved and as quickly as possible. As I pulled to the back of the building the line of boats waiting for service did not rest well when thinking about the time possibly lost on the water, but thinking man they must be good to have this kind of following. Long story short dropped off at 9, phone call at 3:30, come pick up your boat its ready. Shocked I replied ready are you kidding me. Raced over (they stayed and waited past closing) to pick up the boat. They explained what happened put on the new parts and saved the old ones for me to see and off we went Boating at last. I can not begin to tell you how much they made it not only the best experience but completed the work so quickly saving what could have been a horrific week. Their service is top notch would not hesitate to recommend this company to everyone I know and would drive 9 hours just for them to service my boat.
