Kris is awesome.Recently, en route to the Grand Canyon on I-40, after filling up with gas at HWY 95 interchange, my Toyota engine lost power, made strange noises, and wouldnt move. Thinking it might be a sudden transmission failure, I phoned A+ Transmission. Kris took my call. From the very moment he answered the phone, I felt that he was concerned about my problem and wanted to help me find a solution and continue my journey. Being stuck in an out-of-the-way spot worried me, but I felt like my car was in good hands. GEICO handled getting a tow truck to tow me the 18 miles into Lake Havasu City where Kris was waiting for me.Instead of being an expensive transmission failure, Kris diagnosed it to be filling the tank with DIESEL instead of gasoline. They removed the gas tank and fuel lines, drained and flushed them clean, put in some gas, and checked out the engine for me. No further damage. Huge relief.You can trust A+ transmission, they do great work.

Kris and his team are the BEST!!!!! We came in with a 92 Dodge Ram van that was having mystery transmission problems and they were able to diagnose them and get us on our way. We found this shop about an hour after we rolled into town for vacation. Kris and his crew were amazing at getting us in quickly and I know they stayed late multiple days and came in early as well just to hurry and get our truck done. I couldn’t tell you if the prices were reasonable but we didn’t have time to care haha. It started out with me bringing in my 2006 Cummins for a typical trans rebuild and it turned into a big diesel build. They stand behind their after I kept bringing in parts for my truck the hammered it out and everything was very high quality work. Love the atmosphere, great character, great customer service!! They really know what they are doing. I highly recommend stopping down for any work done!

Nothing worse than breaking down on your way into town, Chris was very helpful. This was a Saturday, they closed at 3. I wasnt sure if the truck would get there before they closed but Chris was nice enough to advise they would wait till it got there and diagnose before closing up shop for the day. I would highly recommend these guys as they seem to put the customer first and sometimes that is quite hard to find.

Was passing through on a Saturday and my transmission started shifting hard. They spent an hour and a half driving, diagnosing, and working on it, without an appointment! Then they charged me a fraction of what I expected to pay. These guys are great, do not hesitate to stop by.
