Foothill Auto provides a quick response to estimate issues, a reasonable cost estimate and timeframe within which the work will be completed and call when it’s done. They’re very honest, there was some work they thought needed to be done and it turned out that it was not needed, so they just cleaned it, put it back together and didn’t charge for that.

I recommend. Friendly and transparent service. I felt that I was treated honestly.

Great experience with Bryan and Cindy. My daily wouldn’t start today. Called in and spoke with Bryan who was able to confirm a tech would be available to check out the issue. When I got there I ended up working with Cindy on the service quote and particulars. They were able to get diagnostic done and some generic parts/hardware replaced same day to get back on the road. Staff is friendly and they can even drive you back if you live/work locally. I’ll be coming back for anything I don’t take care of myself.

The team here is honest, quick, and does good work. They only performed the work I needed done, and did their own research to find out that some costly repairs were under warranty at the dealership, then referred me there to save me money.

I used Tim Reichenbach for many years for fleet servicing and my personal vehicles when he owned Crossroads Automotive. After he merged with Foothill Auto Service, Ive continued to use their services. Recently, I had an oil leak on my 2003 Infiniti FX35 that I found difficult to diagnose the origin. Tim and his team steam cleaned the engine top to bottom and added tracers to see where the leak originated. It was determined to be the valve cover gaskets and they completed the repairs with 100% success. I thought it was a power steering line or transmission cooler line but they found the problem. They always look out for the customer and will not recommend work that s not necessary. Prior to any trip, we have our vehicles checked out by Foothill Auto Service and trust them in keeping our vehicles safe and reliable for may miles to come. I really appreciate Tims knowledge and honesty.

I have known Glen Larsen for over 25 years and have gone to Foothill Auto from the first day he took it over.Glen is the most honest person you will ever meet. I have taken all my cars and my kids have taken and continue to take their cars to Foothill Auto. My one daughter lives in Silver Lake and still takes a day off to come down to have Glen take care of her car show she knows she will get it back fixed and safe. Most Auto Repair Shops are money driven, Glen Larsen at Foothill Auto is Safety and Service driven and truly cares that he gives you your car back running great and safe. Glens`s warranty of his parts and service is awesome and many a times I now he has eaten some of the cost on an expired warranty to take care of his customers. His Mechanics are the best, they only repair what needs repaired they inform you of a condition that may cause problems down the road. Well once again Glenn and the crew at Foothill Auto Service come through with shining colors! My wife drove our car to work and said there was fluid leaking out when she parked (and took a picture send it to me that looked pretty serious). It looked like a lot of fluid so I went down to pick up the car and got it to Glenn to check it out. Glenn got back to me within a few hours and told me there’s no worries the car is just fine just a little excessive condensation coming out.No charge -and the confidence knowing my car is just fine for my wife to drive and not get stranded somewhere. He will give you all the options, including being totally honest about what does not need to be repaired. He will say lets keep an eye on this or that area, but it doesnt need to be repaired yet. He is the most honest & reputable mechanic in Southern California BY FAR!

I discovered Glenns shop 10 years ago and have been taking both of my vehicles since for all work including regular maintenance and oil changes. Costs are fair and he stands by his work. He gives realistic assessments if work is required immediately or can be delayed.

I took my car in because the transmission was slipping. Glen had is mechanic pull the pan and they determined that the fluid was old but not filled with metal fragments. They ended up replacing two solenoids and the fluid. It cost me about 1/6 of what a new transmission would have cost. It is running perfectly after almost a year. The transmission shifts perfectly. All this was performed in one day.

Glen has to be the most honest mechanic Ive ever known. Ive been bringing all of my cars to his shop for many years.

WARNING - DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO FOOTHILL AUTO SERVICE, they overcharge for repairs and dont stand by their work. They will claim your car is fixed, but they didnt actually do the work. I was charged over $1,000 for a brake job, and then four month later, I had to take my car into another mechanic to get the rotors done because it was shaking so violently when going downhill. The new repair place said the rotors had never been done. I asked Glenn for reimbursement for the rotor work I had to have done, he said he would get back to me, but he never did. If you are a woman, please dont take your car to this repair shop, it is a total ripoff. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and to AAA.

I called and Glen answered the phone then He said hello, yellow yellow and I said can you hear me he replied no and hang up, then tried to call back several times he kept cancelling me, wow what a professional place to go to. Don’t even bother call this place. I am still shocked this never happened to me before.
