I go out of my way to get my smog done here because Tony gets the job done, there are never any issues and his quoted price will be what you pay. There are no hidden fees like with other places. I paid 59.95 out the door for a 2007 van. Call ahead if you dont want to wait because he can get busy.

Needed SMOG, checked the codes first, said not to do it, as it will fail (engine lights). Appreciate the honesty. Fixed the warning lights, now need to drive 100 miles prior to SMOG. Again, appreciate the honesty. SMOG next week.Following week- passed SMOG. 2004 Ram 2500. 300,000 miles.

Wont try to help you pass, unlike other places. Dont go, waste of money. Stock cats, no modifications, shouldve passed. Told me to go to a shop and get it fixed Nothing is wrong with the car. No CEL, O2 sensors are fine.Went and passed the next day at Smog tech star station in Yorba Linda. The owner of that shop was a hands down honest guy who gave me tips on how to pass properly and his policy was not to charge if you didnt pass. AVOID AK auto repair and smog like the PLAGUE

My 50 year old classic had an issue (as these old cars do) by AK. I could see it was a quick fix and just needed a tool. AK was quick to help and lent me a tool (most shops never do) to get me back on the road in minutes!Thanks guys!

Great Deal for Smog Checking Cars that are 1996-2000. His coupon for $28.95 (+$8.25 for cert) was the lowest I could find for my 1999 Crown Victoria. He also asks a few basic questions before taking your business to make sure you arent going to fail for a dumb reason that is easy to correct beforehand.Another business, Auto Star Smog & Repair around the corner had a coupon, but their *most cars* fine print was for 2000 and up. Auto Star Smog & Repair said they will match other coupons (and beat it by some) but they wouldnt match A-Ks, and Auto Star said A-K Auto Repair wouldnt honor theirs either. But A-K did with no problem at all.
