An honest mechanic is like gold. I was going to Scotts and he was great but a few years ago he sold to his employees. I was a little apprehensive at first but soon realized that these guys not only new their stuff but were very honest. Ive taken all our family cars there for a couple years and have always received excellent quality and very polite service. The guys that run this business are young but they are very good! A+

One of lifes great joys is finding a mechanic that you can trust. The guys at Ascendant are knowledgeable, personable, reasonably priced, and completely trustworthy. Despite my car being extremely stubborn, they did not stop working until they got the problem sorted out. They will not sell you anything you dont, need, wont pressure you, and will honor their warranty no matter what it takes. Cant say enough good things about this shop. Anytime I have a friend or colleague ask me which mechanic I go to, I refer them to Ascendant in Lake Forest. I get my 2014 e350 Mercedes serviced there & its top notch. If you want great work by an honest, non pushy mechanic, dont waste your time looking somewhere else. Pick up the phone and ask for Nahu or drive on down, or get towed!! Just get down there you wont be disappointed.

Tried this place based on a friends recommendation. Had my front brakes done. The manager, Nahu, was great. He showed me my old pads and explained how they were worn. Great personal, fast and friendly service at a good price. I will definitely be a recurring customer!

Im very GRATEFUL for Ascendant Automotive. I drive a 2012 BMW 128i, which is a COMPLEX vehicle to service. I drive about 30,000 miles per year (over 220,000 miles on the odometer), so regular maintenance is extremely important. I need an automotive shop thats familiar with modern BMWs.Ascendant performed the following services on my BMW: New Fuel Pump, New Fuel Pump Regulator, New Battery, Reprogrammed System, New Valve Cover Gasket, New Spark Plugs, New Brake Pads, New Brake Rotors, Brake Fluid Flush, New Radiator, Coolant Flush & Fill, New Coolant Hoses, New Fuel Injectors, New Oil Filter Housing Gasket, New Oil Pressure Switch, New Tires (Balance and Mounting), Differential Fluid Change, Power Steering Fluid Change, and Oil Changes.Im Very Happy with their work and their prices are Much Cheaper than the dealer! I also like the fact that Ascendant allows customers to bring in their own parts. I personally bring my engine oil and oil filter. Also, the employees are Very FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL and HONEST.

Thank you to Scotts Automotive Repair Shop! My truck needed the carburetor replaced, but before any work was conducted my options were laid out expertly by Conrad. The shop took the time to diagnose the problems I was having and provide me with good honest feedback throughout the entire process. Future recommendations based on my direction with the truck were also offered, good references, and great advice. Im so glad I found this shop, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a positive experience.

I have to give a shoutout for the amazing service I received yesterday at Ascendant Automotive in Lake Forest. I went in for an oil change and they fixed my dented bumper for free. I’ve been going there for about 10 years (it was previously Scott’s Automotive, but his employees bought it from him when he retired) and have always received great service at a great price. A few years ago I had to get a tire replaced and the guy told me I needed a new serpentine belt and a few other repairs that added up to about $700, I took it to Scott’s to double check and the only thing I needed was a $27 oil change.

Best auto repair in Orange county. Honest and true mechanic, and this is very rare today. Speak english and spanish. Always recommend.

I have been there three times over the past few years and every time they do a great job. Scott and Horacio are honest and pleasant men. I used to have a favorite mechanic for 15 years that I would drive 30 minutes to, but since he retired, I found this place. My old mechanic will still take me as needed, but Scotts has been good too me and I fell comfortable knowing they arent good and honest.

I have had 3 Cars worked on here it is half the price of dealerships and just as good if not better of a job I couldnt be more pleased. In fact Im taking my car in next week for shocks timing belts and brakes and Im sure I would spend $1,000 instead of $1,500. Have never ever had any problems with his work.

Worst customer service and experience ever. First time I called they honored their coupon online. Now that Im making the appointment, they went back from honoring their own coupon and now charging me twice as much. Definitely didnt appreciate there passive aggressive tone when I was explaining my issue and kept cutting me off as I spoke. I can I tell you my issue if you dont listen to it. Didnt appreciate it at all.

(Review before Scotty sold it and this review is based on 4 years ago as I have moved on when Scott sold his shop) Always honest about care and time to fix. Rarely in here longer than promised. Close to golf course, walking trails and sports field so stay in shape or watch your kids play baseball or soccer while your car is being repaired.
