I had such a great experience with L Bridal and could not recommend them more! I had such a fun time at the boutique with my mom and sister, and the experience felt so special. I said yes to the dress! However, my experience was probably not a typical one, as I had decided on a dress, but within 48 hours had changed my mind. I loved the dress and how it looked in theory, but knew I wanted something that I would feel a little more comfortable in on the big day. Long story short, Mary and Laurie jumped through some extra hoops for me to help secure my dream dress for me, all while living across the country during a pandemic. Their service went above and beyond, and I could not have loved my dress more (even after year-long pandemic postponement)!

These ladies do what they do for a reason! I went in with plans to have a certain dress, and after trying so many on in that same style range, I didn’t like the way any looked on me. That’s when Mary brought in a dress that I would have NEVER chosen on the hanger, we put it on, and that’s now the dress that I will be wearing on my big day. I was feeling very negative about the process and she helped me find the perfect dress and she reached out to a seamstress to make sure the changes I wanted could be done if I bought the dress because my decision rested on those changes. When I mentioned a change I wanted in the dress, Mary was very helpful in gathering accessories and holding them on so I could see what it would look like.I didn’t feel any pressure to pick a dress and she even encouraged me to sleep on it and buy the dress the next day if I needed to.She pulled some dresses and we got to pull dresses ourselves. I didn’t realize the dress I wanted was a sample sale dress until almost the end of the appointment but it was a pleasant surprise to get it so heavily discounted. L Bridal Couture is literally THE BEST. Growing up, like many other girls, I always watched Say Yes To The Dress and dreamed of my perfect wedding and wedding dress. I always dreamed of having the Kleinfeld experience. Due to the distance, there’s no way that could be possible. Little did I know, right here in Lake Charles, L Bridal Couture was the salon I’d always been dreaming of! You get a private appointment and you get the opportunity to try on with the DREAMIEST wedding dresses! Mary listens and pays close attention to what you like as well as what works best for you. The entire experience makes you feel so special and truly does make you feel like a bride. I could not have imagined going to a better salon. I will always, always, always recommend this salon to any future brides! I got my dream wedding dress and I definitely had what people call a “bridal moment” - tears and all! Much love to the women who run this salon - please keep it up!

Absolutely AMAZING!! Mary helped to keep my opinion the most important, and helped to choose the most perfect dress for me (even though we knew it was the one from the start). She even kept in touch after getting my dress, and found the most perfect veil to match

Wide selection of designer dresses. Had a wonderful time picking out my dress in a private room. The selection is gorgeous and I finally found the perfect dress. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because upon receiving my dress, it was two sizes too large resulting in very expensive alterations. Beware of the size you’re ordering for your dress!

Finding my dress was a dream compared to all the stress I thought would go into it. I was able to bring my sweetest family with me and try on all the gowns I wanted (even though the first one I tried on was the one I picked) The experience at L Bridal and Mary & Laurie was beyond anything I could have imagined. The customer service is above any other within miles. Dr. Laurie is amazing and will definitely know if that’s your dress as soon as you step into it ( she’s got the magic). From my personal experience, I’ve been a total of 3 times once for a regular appt the second for a trunk show for the designer that I fell in love with(pronovia) and the third to pick up my dress and veil, each time you are welcomed with a smile and treated like a friend. (( Plus who doesn’t want to pop confetti after you’ve found your dream dress)).. I can’t say enough good things about L Bridal.
