We took my dads hummer golf cart in for a check up and battery upgrade. Kyle Performed a test drive and made a recommendation for items to be repaired. Love that Apex provides free of charge pick up and delivery within Laguna Woods so we arranged a pick up. From there Tiffany did a remarkable job of communicating with our family as Apex did the repairs. We had a few minor miscommunications but Tiffany made sure to clear up the details and she kept the project moving forward. She even spent time with me to review the cart. Tiffany also brought the technician Lewis into the conversation to gain his suggestions on a couple of items. Amazing customer service and quality work.
Where do you go to buy larger batteries? Its not going to be Walmart, Costco, or Batteries Plus (not if you want good batteries anyway).Im thankful Apex were willing to freight the batteries to our shop since this place is run off of them (solar and wind).This ordering process was easy even though these were special order for batteries not contained on their website.*Update: Just made my second order with Apex!Thanks guys
I spoke with office personnel yesterday about a tech issue with my Roypow lithium charger and wow. They had all the answers for me and some extra info. Great customer service and I didnt buy from them. I would highly recommend Apex to anyone needing anything having to do with golf carts. Very knowledgeable and nice.
This place is tucked into the side streets, but is well worth the trip because of the staff. When I got there, Tiffany must have beenunder stress because the entire system had just crashed, but you would never have known it. She was calm, and kind, and competent, even when doing 5 things at once. She was able to meet my request on the fly with no computer backup. Great place to rent!
I was at a horse show for a week, but the golf cart company I usually use was completely sold out. I desperately needed to rent a cart. I was having much difficulty finding one, everything was booked. When I called Apex I talked to Tiffany and she was amazing. She understood my situation and said she would do her best to see if she could reserve one for me and would call me back. Within a few minutes she did call back, and had a cart for me. She went out of her way to get me that cart, and I am soooooo appreciative. Not only that, she was able to get it for me at a discounted price, which was also much appreciated! I just got back from my horse show, and the golf cart was fantastic, and my daughter did well. I am so thankful for Tiffany and this company pulling through for me. I highly recommend them and will be using them for future horse shows!!!!

I purchased an expensive lithium battery online through Apex which, unfortunately, came with the wrong bracket. I emailed them a description of the problem and received no reply. I called and was told no one could help me right now, but someone would call me back the following day. They didnt.I have emailed again and called multiple times leaving voicemails, but still cannot get any help with this issue, so my cart has been sitting and has been unusable for the last 3 weeks.For owner: Username is the same as my email address on my order and the numerous emails I sent afterward.
They claim to sell stuff on ebay. Sent them $757. 2 months later after several calls to them...they finally refunded the money. However, they lost the controllers that we sent them to be repaired. Now we are out $1500 in controllers that they were supposed to repair.

Apex is a terrific store. I walked in not knowing anything about golf cars, except I wanted one to drive around my gated community. Caius was outstanding. He walked me through every aspect of getting a 2014 RXV and customizing it just the way I wanted. They basically tore the old cart down to the frame and installed new parts, new body, new upholstery which my wife designed. I wound up saving thousands over a new golf car while getting a completely custom car that I really like. I highly recommend them.

This place is top notch. I purchased a used golf cart from them last year, the pricing was on point, the service was great and they even delivered it to my house in Lake Forest.Since that time, I have purchased several batteries from them and other items, with the same service each time.
This place is a joke they will take your money One cart looked like they took parts off for something else. They are not professional. Business practices shady at best!
Amending my review In response.Firstly, I completely stand by my review and the events I posted.I came by your store myself at 9:30am and checked out the cart, so I was full well aware of its condition. At that time I stated we’d take it and that my wife would be down to pay for it. I gave her name and was assured that is all that was needed. Had a deposit been requested, I would have left one at that time. Instead when my daughter arrived to pay and pick up the cart the staff was actively engaged in trying to sell it to somebody else. Once again, rude and less than honest.The person there at the time of my visit indicated he was not in sales, so there was no point in asking sales related questions. Not to mention that your ad STILL makes a very clear impression that the seat is included in the $2000 price. It does not give the impression that it is “available” or an add-on. So there was no reason to ever ask for a price match. Why would anybody discuss matching the price of an item that is being shown as part of the $2000 advertised price?It wound up being our daughter and her husband who arrived, with a truck and the money. So free delivery was not needed.The rude comment had nothing to do with the unwillingness to accept and acknowledge your mistake and poor wording of your ad or honor your ad, but everything to do with the over all attitude of the sales person dealing with it. Rude behavior isn’t needed nor appreciated. It won’t always be a Covid fueled market and people will absolutely remember that.As a consumer I’ve done my part. Read your ad (and have run it past no fewer than 10 people just to make sure it isn’t me seeing something that isn’t there), inquired and responded by coming to check the product. They posted a very clearly written ad for a cart and wrote it in a way that stated it included a $500 folding rear seat.When we arrived to purchase all of a sudden the rear seat was additional. The salesman was beyond rude and they did not want to budge on anything at all.Not budging on price I understand. Carts are popular during Covid. Being incredibly rude to customers and lying on your ads? Not good.On top of this I can find numerous offers for their $500 folding seat all over the web for $269 - $289. So even if the ad for a 23 year old golf cart was accidentally written poorly by their staff, at the REAL cost of the seat, they werent losing money on the sale of a 23 year old cart.Ive written way too many online ads over the past 20+ years of selling high end sports equipment online to buy that this was a mistake. Based on their location it seems perhaps the Company goal is to take advantage of elderly and retired citizens living in nearby Laguna Woods.Avoid these guys at all costs. There are many good and friendly dealers in the area who know exactly how to treat a customer.I have since found multiple ads from reputable dealers for far newer carts, in better shape for similar pricing.
Kyle was extremely helpful. I purchased some Trojan 6v batteries and he was very informative. There was no pressure to sell me anything. He made me feel comfortable and I am highly likely to come back as a customer and refer him to others.

This company has not been helpful at all after receiving money for a golf cart piece that we have yet to receive. After numerous attempts to contact via phone calls and sending multiple emails, we have only received a tracking number that leads to nowhere!! Just want a full refund at this point!!!! Very poor customer service!!

John the Driver picked up my Golf cart from my apartment and fully repaired it and had it back to me the same evening. I was in town to visit my parents for a few days and wanted my own cart to get around Balboa Island. The Apex golf cart staff was very friendly and attentive. Ordered item on 5/13. No emails sent by the company directly. Have been waiting for parts for two weeks now. Logged into my bank and noticed they returned my PayPal funds transferred. I did however receive the email from PayPal that they refunded my funds the same day. No communication and no attempt to reach out and respond to me. I called but their office morning of 5/29 and they were closed. Wasted 2 weeks of my time!!!!! WTH!Update: After this review, they did call me asking why the low review and told me they sent me emails, they did not. Only Paypal. I had no notice of why the cancelled my order. Parts were not available ordered through their website. If its not available dont list them as available on your website. My review stands as 1 star, wish I could give them a 0.
I bought, sight unseen, a 5 year old cart. I paid half in advance, half upon delivery I did not haggle. I did not scrutininze the cart, upon receipt. This was a huge mistake. It turns out the batteries were dead. Apex claims that that is up to me to rectify; I say I should have been given a working cart.I figured I was a buying from a dealr/mechanic that was reputable. I relied on google reviews. DO NOT BUY A CART FROM THESE GUYS.

Just went to Apex golf carts to purchase some parts for my cart and new charger. Kyle is great and very knowledgeable. Very honest guy. He even looked up prices on the internet to show me what the average price is.He did this because I told how I got price gouged at another cart store in Santa Ana off of Saint Gertrude and Dyer Rd. and the 55 freeway area.I will definitely refer his store to everyone! Great customer services. Recently purchased few golf cart keys for only $4. The package was lost in mail. Kyle responded to my phone call immediately. He was very nice. Offered right away to send another, and this time with tracking. Neither time i was charged shipping. Its not often you see this level of customer service. I really appreciate the time they gave me over 4$. They really put the customer first. I would recommended Apex for sure 5 stars.
I am in the valet parking and shuttling services and on occasions my clients request golf carts for shuttling their guests. I have had some problems dealing with those who are in the Golf Carts business in the past up UNTIL I met Kyle with ApexGolfCarts . Kyle is the real deal when it comes to either renting or buying a golf cart. He is honest with lots of knowledge about his business and will make sure that you are very happy and completely satisfied with his services. Was there to learn more about golf carts, options and pricing. Every time I asked a question I was answered with a question... it was like pulling teeth to get answers. Just didnt come across as wanting to actually sell anything. The one thing that the experience provided me was confirmation of going with another seller.

We had to rent a golf cart from Apex for our Stay in our vacation rental in Newport Beach for 1 week and we needed a street legal golf cart which was kind of hard to find from the dealerships around there. Apex were the 3rd people we called for a rental and we were happy we found them as they did have the street legal golf cart we needed and they were also very courteous over the phone and John the driver was very nice when he delivered the Ford Think and made sure we knew exactly how to use the golf cart and where to use it. We would recomend them to anybody.
These guys took my cart and fixed it while I waited. They also hooked me up with some extra gear to get me going right. I would highly recommend Apex to anyone needing parts or repair.

I came into Apex to have my golf cart charger checked as I taught that is was no longer functioning however after checking it out in they told me that the charger was not the issue and that I might have a problem with my batteries or the wiring. There was no charge for this which was really nice of them so I had them bring in the golf cart to see what repairs were needed. In the end it was the batteries and Kyle was kind enough to get us a great deal on the new Trojan T-105 batteries that were needed on my Ezgo txt golf cart. They also included a new set of battery cables with the installation so now I have new batteries and new cables all for a good price and the service was truly great as a lot of the other reviews do show.

I just had Kyle come out this Friday to change out my used batteries on my 2007 EzGo. He was very prompt to the date and time set up on the phone a week prior and seemed that he really knew his stuff. I took him no more than 45 minutes to get all the batteries in and clean up the work place. I worked with both LSV Carts and Saddleback golf carts in the past and never did I get somebody that was so customer friendly and very fairly priced, he also did a quick golf cart inspection included with the service to make sure everything was good and ready to go. I truly am a satisfied customer and would recommend Apex Golf Carts to anybody that has to get their golf cart fixed in Orange County ( not sure how far out they go). Hope this helps somebody save some money and also get some really nice service
I just purchased a new golf cart charger from Apex Golf Carts, after a long search online trying to find a cheap golf cart charger for my Club Car I ended up over some advertisements by Apex Golf Carts on Craigslist. I normally do not contact random people on Craigslist but I did a some research and found out that they are legitimate at least from what I saw online. I ended up calling and talking to Kyle who directed me to the 48 Volt golf cart charger that I need for my club car. The price was very fair from what I could find online ($149) so I decided to get it. Now here is the catch, they do free delivery in Orange County which I did not know at the time so I went and picked it up from them because I was in a rush but that is nice to know for new customers looking parts for their golf cart. Ok so yes I got a good deal and YES I would buy from them again.
