Needed a certified specialist to have 2 simple keys copied, waited patiently, kindly reminded self checkout nearby about our wait she immediately called it in -waited a few minutes longer... paid for my separate item, had my eye out the whole time still nobody. Id love to shop with Home Depot but it was no effort at the kiosk at Walmart.

Every time I go into store 360 in Lafayette, LA to get paint, nobody is available to mix paint.Today I was the fourth person waiting. Asked service desk to get someone, after the third request the person working customer service finally came over and said the person that works paint is busy and the store manager was “trying” to find someone. This is the answer every time I go in.Hum, makes Lowe’s across the street sound more palatable.

Poor service when instructed. We will call somebody to help you.Today(Sunday) nobody went to helped me, nobody knew and want to go there. After 40 min, i asked for the manager and sent me to customer service, the lady told me appliances area close at 5 pm,why?The store closes at 8pm. Put a sign at least they close early and train workers to have better customer service skills.This happened at ambassador store Lafayette,LA.

Wow!! What a experience. Bought a champion generator from home depot in Lafayette,La today, it came with gasoline in it. My wife opened the box at store because the box looked like it was retaped. She said it smelled like gasoline when she opened it, but it was packed good so we took a chance. Got home and noticed there was gasoline in tank, we brought it back to get a replacement and got attitude from cashier. I asked to talk with mgr., Landon finally came after around 20 min of waiting. I tried to explain to him what happened and caught a attitude from him also. He went outside took generator out of truck and slammed it on cart, I tried asking him a question on how this could happen and that I needed another one and he just walked away without answering. I had to follow him down the aisle and explain my dissatisfaction towards how I was being treated for him to finally take care of me and my family. Landon even told me that some generator come with gasoline in it. I work in management also and I know there are frustrating things that happen, but when your company is to blame you have to take care of the customer first. You shouldnt have to get really upset before they take care of you. Landon took care of us at the end, so we were satisfied upon leaving Home Depot.

Overall good. Not too crowed, associates were nice. Only thing was their plants were in a terrible state. Wilted and limp. That was my 1st experience with an issue like that. Come HomeDepot step-up the game!

Ordered and paid for a generator online, to be picked up in store. Online inventory was showing 2 in stock at this Home Depot location. We received a call a few hours later saying they were out of stock, and would be cancelling our order. Took the time to go in person and found the exact generator that we had ordered, located one aisle over from where the other generators were, up high on a shelf. Called a worker to bring a lift over to get the box down. Purchased and left with generator.

Ordered online. It went through, but come to find out the item wasn’t in stock as per the website said. Update your website and don’t make people waste their time and gas money.

Was impressed before we even walked in. A young man was on a ladder sweeping cobwebs around the exit doors. Any one who does that is proud of their job and their store. Once upon entering, we were able to find things we needed and more (lol). as we checked out, the young lady helped us and was VERY sweet.

Curbside pickup order took 20 minutes (from the time of the notification to actual arrival). Would not recommend using this feature. They also missed an item, and I only realized when I got home, so I had to make another trip and wait another 20 minutes. Would suggest a check off process upon curbside delivery to prevent customers from being forced to make return visits.

Called about watrenty on cordless ryobi push mower and was told it was still under warrenty so drove 20 miles and once at location was told it was not under warrenty. I gave all info over phone and had receipt, needless to say I will not buy a nail from this damn place. I will not spend a penny here again.

Awesome service from Kyle on Saturday at the ambassador store. He was willing to help us find the answers to questions about the things that we needed, that he didn’t know the answer to. He’s a new employee and he didn’t work in the department I was going to, but that did not stop him from helping us. After getting the answer from another associate that actually works in the department, Kyle did not leave us he walked with us to make sure we found the items that we were looking for. That’s what I call great service from beginning to end. Thank you Kyle for awesome customer service.

The home depot on ambassador caffrey REFUSED to honor a NO HASSLE LIFETIME WARRANTY on a simple Husky utility knife. They said we dont sell that anymore by itself, and we wont let you have this one because its the same knife, but not the same product number....blah blah blah. They were so rude. Then I went to the Evangeline store and the guy working the service desk there actually wanted to help. I explained the rudeness from the previous store, and he got me a Husky utility knife without a problem. This rep was very kind and respectful as if he actually cared about his job. I didnt get his name but Im sure its a reflection on the management and their demand for excellence.

Pretty disappointed. I reserved a truck for rental and even got a call to confirm my reservation but they still proceeded to rent out the vehicle to someone else. What the point of a reservation, ask for credit card info and a phone call while youre still going to rent it out..

I needed a window ac unit because my central air just cant keep up in this heat. Found 12,000 BTU for $489! A couple of employees even helped me load it in my car. Cant wait for my son to install it for me!

Do not buy major appliances there. If they break you are stuck with it. They tell you to contact the manufacturer for repairs. Again they do not return major appliances even before 30 days. Just go to lowes. I spent 1000.00 on a range and it went out 18 days later now I cant even cook Christmas dinner because Ge wont even send out parts until after new year.I will never spend another dime with home depot... I am a contractor and I spend 10,000 plus a year at home depot now it seems lowes will get that.

Rude unhelpful refused to assist me because i medically can not wear a mask!!! If there mask works then why would there be a problem with helping me?? Ive been through a cat4 Hurricane and this is how they want to treat people!!! I received help from other customers because they were to pigheaded and rude i paid 866$ for a generator but they can never expect my patronage again !!! Out of plumbing stuff I need

Returned a case of burned out lightbulbs.i told returns desk lights were burned out. I was told to get another one. There were no more on display. Called for help. No one came after 20 minutes or more. I pulled ladder and got box from top of the display. I went back to returns desk. They were about to put back the box of burned lights on display. I wrote on box burned out so no one has to go to my same issue.Asked if I wanted to talk to manager but I declined because in the past this manager told me “ Why don’t you go to another store”I manage maintenance for 18 senior centers in south Louisiana. From Lake Charles to Thibodaux and have never had the constant bad service I have in this store.You need profesional management. I’m sure your managers attitude is the reason why employees in this location are so bad in customer service and why the turnover is so high.I really hope you do something about it. The store is in a good location for us. Fortunately Lowe’s is just across the street from them so I will move my business there.Thank you.

We went looking for an inexpensive refrigerator to put on our back patio. There was some ok sales, but nothing special. An associate in the appliance department asked if we needed help. He informed us that since we were looking for a deal, of we waited 1 more day, that they would be starting their official sale. I really appreciated his honesty! We left without making a purchase today, but we will be back! We visited their major competition across the street beforehand. HD had way more floor associates to offer help, and also had more registers opened. Store was clean and everyone we talked with was friendly! Great job HD!!

Best retail experience Ive ever had was with the Tool Rental portion of the store. Ive rented tools multiple times and every time was memorable and helpful. They provided invaluable tips for my projects and had the most pleasant attitudes. This will be the only hardware store I visit solely because of the outstanding service the Tool Rental provides.

Young man who assisted us in the lumber dept was very helpful as was our cashier Cortlandt. Perfect sevice!

This Home Depot is a great store. Usually well stocked with everything we ever need, and open plenty late for a quick run to get that one thing needed to finish the job. The store employees are friendly and always willing to assist the best they can.
