I love this place. I bought my M&P 15/22 here a d it was a great experience. They even had the ammo. I have since had several guns shipped to them as my FFL. They only charge $30 and the process for transfer is quick and easy. All of the employees are a pleasure to deal with and I trust their advice. I look forward to many more dealings with I5 Guns!

The staff is technically competent, very professional, and helpful. For example the boss showed me how to make modifications to my rifle so that i will not have to rely on their services. On the other hand the work they have done on my firearms is first rate, and correct the first time. I will continue to utilize their services.

I showed up looking worse for wear having been working on my car and needed some cash to replace a window on my car that was busted out. I was created as if I was their best customer. The gentleman who created me was honest sincere and knowledgeable and I was offered much more than what I had been anticipating which was a plus. New window and some toys and diapers for my baby really made my family’s day. Times are tough right now for everyone in some shape or matter and it’s encountering business like I-5 guns that make you smile I know that in the future if it’s saving 20$ or going to I5 guns. I will pick i5 guns everyday. They have a life long Customer in me. Thanks guys.

We came in to purchase our first firearm and the staff as incredibly informative and helpful. They helped us narrow down our choices for our needs and my size. We only waited about a week for the background check to clear and we were able to pick up. Definitely recommend if youre in the market for a firearm!

Hate to give this low of rating, but I feel its deserved after multiple poor experiences here. Customer service is awful, prices are outrageous. Theyre LEO Glock pricing is marked up $200 more than any other dealer around. This is THEIR choice, not Glock. Will never come back to this shop again. Also their transfers are more than other local shops.

Both times Ive gone in there was nothing to be had at reasonable prices, even in todays market when compared to other LGSs. Selection was also slim to none outside of pistols.

READ BEFORE GOING TO THIS STORE :This is by far the worst experience I have ever had in any gun store or any store for that matter. I had bought a red dot sight for my glock and they had offered to mount it for me and had said it would work. I didnt have my mos plates. I purchased a mounting plate online and and it didnt work so I returned to the store. The man that helped me said I needed plate 4. Another man who happened to be the owner said that sight wont work with that gun. I proceeded to tell him I bought it here and the other employee told me I needed plate 4 and the owner was silent. I went home found all the plates behind the pads of my glock case that came with my glock and found plate 4. The sight didnt fit on plate 4. I returned to the store to ask them if I could exchange it for one that fit. When I returned the owner was helping me and was rude and angry. He told me first plate 4 then plate 5 then back to plate 4. He didnt seem to know wich one. So I just asked if I could exchange it. He said No it has been opened. I told him if you guys told me it fit and it doesnt fit wouldnt it be the right thing to do to exchange it and I will pay whatever extra I need too. He said fine. As I was looking I said would you let me know if this one mounts on a glock 19 5th gen. He said NO I replied that isnt very good customer service. My fiance said you told us plate 4 then change to plate 5 then back to 4 and you wont help He replied are you calling me a liar she said no I am just repeating what you said Next He said Shut up while he pointed his finger in her face I was in such shock. I replied dont talk to her that way He told us to leave the store handed me my unloaded gun, He even made sure it was unloaded. As I put it in my pocket he told me to put my hands up on the glass. I did. I did not want any problems especially in the gun store. He then said leave I am calling the sheriffs department. I replied should I wait for the sheriff to show up. he said no leave. He would not tell me his name just that he was the owner. So I did leave as he followed and took a picture of my licence plate. When I returned home he did not even return all the screws I had given him for my plates. I had did some research on the owner. His name is Tom and he is a terrible business man. He is rude, he talks to customers and women horribly. As angry and tense as he is it makes me wonder why he is in the business of firearms. I try support small businesses but this back fired. I wish I could give this place a negative number. You go to places like this for help not to be degraded.

I brought in a weapon to be cleaned and bought a pistol. I was told i could pickup both by the owner in around 10 days. They also said they would call when they were ready. I never got a call on either weapon. I called in at 9 days and was told again I would get a call. I called back again at the 2 week point and was told I could pick it up. I asked about the weapon that needed cleaning. I was told that it was not cleaned and would be another 7-10 days. I asked why I was back at the end of the line they said I wasn’t but they were too busy selling to service weapons. I asked to speak to the owner and said I would wait until he finished with a customer. He finally answered but when I asked why it was 7-10 days he told me to pick up my weapon and find another gunsmith. This is the rudest a business owner has ever been to me. No apology for being late. No attempt to say he would work on it. Just pick it up and find someone else. Do not go here if you care about service or support. This business only wants your money from a high priced sale and will throw you to the curb when they get there money

Came into this store and was added to a list to purchase a glock 19 and a G48. Gun became available and a guy called me and told me to come grab it.. I told him i couldnt come that day but would be there on thurday... I called to make sure everything was good, and Tom answered the phone. Tom is completely unprofessional and extremely rude. Was going to purchase 3 guns (another G48 for my girlfriend) now i wont spend a penny here. I also will be recommending my other fellow officers to stay away from this business. After calling another place for my purchase, was advised that they have had so many others tell them they had the same experience with this place. I understand COVID has changed things, but i dont understand how you could treat people this way and still stay in business.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I was impressed overall. I originally didnt want to go back after a so-so experience a couple of years ago. In fact, I purchased 6 firearms at different locations over the last two years. Stopped by to look for a .22 rifle for my daughter. Tom was terrific with her, determined she was a left eye dominant shooter and found the perfect left hand bolt action for her. Ordered it Friday and picked it up Wednesday. Ended up buying two more pistols so probably shouldnt keep going in.If you have a bad experience and leave a bad review, maybe its not them thats the isssue.

I have been into this store a couple times, once to buy a gun and another just for help with a different weapon. I found the staff to be helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They are provide great customer service even if you are not buying anything that day. I plan to be back for future purchases.

I had a pleasant experience here doing a private party FFL transfer. Fast and simple.

I went in a few weeks ago after reading on their Facebook that they had a few Glocks available in stock. I was greeted by a person on arrival who directed me to the right side where the gun case was while others were being helped. After about ten minutes a woman asked if I was looking and told her that I was interested in one of the Glocks. She told me I couldn’t buy it unless I was a first responder. Besides that’s there were only 22 caliber guns and maybe two other semi- automatics in the case and from overhearing other conversations some of those were already claimed.Limited selection and out of ammo like many others. Not sure I’ll bother going back. I was able to get a pistol at another shop with ammo on a later date.

I’ve received a few firearms through them now. Every time I’ve gone in it’s been an absolute pleasure interacting with all the guys behind the counter. They’re all more than willing to chat with you on various topics and answer questions as needed.Thanks!

I have never been so upset with a business! I tried to give them the benefit of a doubt and they would professionally resolve our issue but they didnt! TWO MONTHS LATER WE HAVENT RECEIVED A GUN OR REFUND! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE !

Worst experience Ive had with a gun shop. I had them install a set of XS Big Dot sights on my XDS and they failed to follow any standard gun smithing practices and smashed up the side of the sight and released the Tritium.It took me over 6 weeks to get them to resolve the situation, which they eventually did by getting a warranty replacement on the sight from XS which I installed myself without issue(so Kudos to XS on their warranty I guess).At no point would the owner admit they did anything wrong and would not even provide a simple apology, just one excuse or lie after another. I also had to call them to get any updates. They never reached out when it was done initially or when the new sight came in.At the end of it all, over a month later I still got to pay them the full amount for not even installing the sights because I had my sick cat in my car and just picked it up and left without examining it closely enough because I was in a hurry. According to the owner if Id noticed the damage in the store they could have done something but because I left and then drove right back within the hour it was all on me.

Went in for a simple FFL transfer and they didn’t bother to verify my i.d. when doing so. They told me I was unable to possess a firearm and that I had to take it up with the FBI. Even after I told them that they made a mistake and to please verify the information they had they told me that I had to take it up with the FBI and there was nothing they could do. About an hour later they called me telling me that they pulled up a different person by mistake (obviously) and to come in to pick up my firearm. When I came back in one of the employees thought the situation was pretty funny and kept cracking jokes. I will not be back and would recommend you take your business anywhere else in town.

Just spoke with Taylor about my options for home security. She was very knowledgeable and was able to give me a wide variety of options that would be great for me and this was all based off of us speaking over the phone. I could just imagine what she could have done for me if I were to go into the store. When I do purchase something I will being using them. Thank you for having such a great staff!!

Very rude owner. I came in for a couple of basic questions on something I had to offer him and his shop and he very snarkily interrupted my conversation with who I believe is his wife. He was very rude and Ill never go back.

This place is complete garbage, my brother in law shipped my firearm with them September 3, but didnt actually send it out until 17 September, but I dont even think they did it then because the shipping number I was given was not found, so I checked other shipping services and not found in those either. I will be calling both shipping and receiving shops and if its not found Im reporting it stolen tomorrow.

I have bought 2 firearms from this store and both have been extremely pleasant and helpful experiences. They have a wealth of firearms to try and are all very knowledgeable on them all, offering up their own experiences with their recommendations. The staff are very kind and helpful when looking for something specific or offering up recommendations for a certain ammo type or firearm. I would highly recommend this store to anyone.

Lowered the price of my guns on consignment without asking just to make a fast sale and then charged me a transfer fee of over $50 for each gun that I took back off of consignment because of their rudeness etc.!

Tom and the crew are top notch. Good service. They have good selection of just about everything, guns, holsters, ammo, quality steel targets, and parts. Great place to do transfers. They few I have done took about 15 minutes and most of that was looking the guns over.

I went into this gun shop and purchased a Glock 43 on Nov. 6, 2018. I wanted to buy from a local dealer instead of Cabela’s that is just across the highway. Went in, bought my gun and I was happy with the customer service. The person that charged my card said, “give it about 1 week”. I thought this was an awesome turn around time and left happy. I never received a call a week later. I waited 2 weeks then called them. I knew they were moving locations so I gave them some extra time.This is where all the excuses started rolling in. Instead of going over an exact timeline and order of events I’ll just say that I was told to call back, “in a week”, each time I called weekly, they never remembered who I was (not that I’m offended about not being an unforgettable person but because after all the order issues I would have expected to be on their radar), they were nice and at times apologetic but it is now Jan. 8, 2019 and I’m 3 days from my background check clearing so I can pick up my firearm. Thank the lord! There is an issue with that as well that I will get to.Excuses given:- Oh we just moved so things have been a bit hectic.- A box was lost in the move and a Glock 43 was in there, I thought we had reordered all the guns in that box.- When we moved FedEx some how started sending our packages to DuPont. (Not far from the store)- Oh Glock just did their annual event called Glocktober so when they told us they had a gun in their inventory, they actually didn’t and that’s why it’s taking so long.- Store owner said, “Glock sent me the wrong gun”. “Yours had night sites right?”. (No my gun didn’t have night sites. This is when I realize that my being polite and rational was about to fizzle out)- (I stop in the shop instead of calling) The owner says, “Oh we had lost a box in the move then there were shipment issues then we got the wrong gun. I will personally order it right now, this was my fault.”At this point I was 7 weeks into this jacked up ordeal and I FINALLY got a call from them saying, “Glock sent us the wrong gun. We do have a Glock 43x if you would like that”.I went and looked at the gun and I liked it. So I filled out the background info and they sent it off, well supposedly.I called them a week later to ask if they received a “proceed” on my background check. The owner told me, “let me check the calendar.... come in Tuesday and it’s yours regardless if we here from the local PD or not”.Yesterday was Tuesday, I went into the shop and what do ya know, the owner did the dates wrong and it’s not until Friday that they can release the gun to me unless they here from my local PD sooner.Today I called my local police department and they informed me that they don’t have the background request. The PD called I-5 Guns and they said they would resend it to my PD. My PD said the issue could have been their own office but after all of the inconsistencies and issues with I-5 Guns I’m not sure I’m willing to give them the pass on that.I can’t begin to express the incompetency of I-5 Guns and Ammo. I have been extremely patient, however at one point expressed my frustrations with them and still, I received very poor results in their abilities to complete my purchase. I’m a reasonable guy and when they initially told me it would take 1 week to get the gun from the manufacturer I thought that was ambitious. However I didn’t expect it would possibly take 8 times longer than what I was told at time of purchase.I’m going to complete this purchase with them but I will never do business with them again and if you like having a healthy blood pressure level I suggest going elsewhere. They have no issue taking hundreds of dollars from you and then completely botching your order and not following through. If you are looking for a well managed gun retailer with competence and a streamlined process, I-5 Guns and Ammo is NOT the place you want to go.

Well staffed, not afraid to ask another staff member for clarification. Usually has time to chat and help find the right tool for you. Background checks are reasonably fast. A good supply of targets. Gunsmith on site.

Fair price on transfer. Friendly staff. I will use them again for transfers.Their gun selection isn’t huge in the cases or on the walls. I imagine they can order what you need. Some interesting stuff on the shelves.Gunsmith didn’t have the proper tool to change my sights. He damaged the old set removing them. He didn’t center the front sight on the new set. I will need to shoot with the new sights to prove how far off they are. Knocked off a star for that, didn’t really care about the old set.

Love this place. Staff is very knowledgeable with everything from the firearms they are selling to the current laws and regulations. I have purchased one firearm from these folks and way too much ammo to remember and I will continue to shop here in the future. Great prices, and as stated in other reviews they beat Cabelas 99 out of 100 times. the staff is also one of the most helpful and polite I have ever experienced.

I have just returned from overseas and wanted to get an Pistol. The people here were very helpful and professional as well as people you can just talk to you. Next is the price, it was cheaper then Cabelas and other local shops so i will buy more Pistols and Rifles from them. The only issues is that their guns on hand is no where near some other local gun shops but they are more then willing to get what your looking for. They also were willing to do some addition work on my gun for free! I will say i was looking for a local gun shop to do all my business at and i found it in I5 Guns & Ammo!

Tom and his crew are some of the most genuine people I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. There prices and service are uncomparable. I will continue spend my money there. For me it is well worth the drive. Good job guys keep up the good work!

I made a purchase through gun broker on 7 Oct 2017, contacted the shop to find out the steps I needed to take to get my order sent there. I walked into the shop on 11 Oct and was told I need to fill out a order sheet with the contact information of the seller. I asked how long it would take and when they would contact the seller. I was told they would contact the seller the following day and arrival depends on the method of shipping. I contacted I5 guns today (17 Oct) to get a status of my firearm and was told they havent even requested it yet. I have wasted my time waiting for them to request my firearms, and now I lose time waiting for it to arrive. If this is any indication on level of professionalism of the rest of local shops I am truly concerned.

Professional staff. Low pressure and very knowledgeable. the staff will work with you to get anything you are looking for. They wont up-sell you and I am very comfortable buying there. Way better than the guys down the road

I just bought a target gun from a gun club friend and just needed a transfer of ownership. They walked me through the process in a professional manner and it completed very quickly. I had a concealed carry and a drivers license that were all that was needed besides the gun. I would check with them first for prices etc. if I buy another gun new or used.

This place sucks. I did a swap with an associate of mine & when he expressed his view on something political in a conversation about a current issue (police brutality) the manager got pissed pissed and told us to get out & he wasnt putting the transaction through, & note I wasnt even apart or around the conversation. Completely unprofessional, Id give this place a 0 if I could

Came in to get a transfer for a stripped lower done. I ask about the total for the transfer as the use tax and price I paid doesnt add up. Clerk insists that its all good. As hes swiping my card he informs me there is a fee for using a credit card, I inform him I have cash. Too late he exclaims. I saw no signage notating the fee, I wasnt informed until my card was charged. Downright sheisty business practices! I even have them the opportunity to make things right which they wouldnt do.All I can do at this point is warm others about it. I personally wouldnt go back, and I recommend finding another retailer for your needs.

Stoped in to take a look around with my wife. We were going to and ready to buy a pistol for my wife and two rifles, one for her and one for me. As we went in not one person said one word to us - not one person, someone could have said- hi guys well be right with you, or just a simple, hi. Someone at the register look at us and said nothing, someone else standing there in the door way going to back room, said nothing. We sort of made our way over to the display case and as we were looking at the display case and at the rifles on the wall, pointing this rifle out and that rifle out to each other, and some jerk that works there taking on the phone comes and stands right in front of us with his back turned towards us blocking our view. REALLY. After about ten minutes of being at the display case and still not one person came over to see if they could help us out in any way or have any questions, we just left.Too bad for them, we were ready to buy a pistol and two rifles, what do ya think, about $2500 in business lost due to fact that acted like they could give a sit less if we were they our not.We did make it home with a nice pistol and two riflesGo somewhere else and get treated like your a customer

Really great and very very knowledgeable customer service here, if youre building a rifle and need to have your head space checked they do it for free and the price for parts and components there is really good comparable if not better to most internet sites.

So after stopping at 2 other gun shops in the lacey area on my way home from work I came to i5 guns for the first time and was pretty impressed with there service and they had a decent amount of guns. I was looking for my 2nd gun an AR 15 and they had just what I was looking for and even in my price range witch was $700 at the time. Kyle I believe his name was. Was very knowledgeable about the AR platform and even showed me the steps on how to break it down/clean and reassemble. I thought that was pretty cool sence the previous shops I had been to 1 was empty looked like they where going to close had a few pistols and the other was a pretty decent shop no one took the time to help/explain to me about the rifle I had come in looking for. Overall 110% satisfied with my purchase and there customer service. will definitely be a repeat customer and would recommend to anyone.

Went in to do a private 594 transfer and it was 2nd amendment Sunday so the transfer was free! Prices on most of their guns and ammo are fairly reasonable and theyre nice people.

Their customer service is great. They have prices that beat cabelas most the time, and the other lacey gun shop they beat hands down. They have a gunsmith. they have glock parts in stock.4 out of 5 because they dont have a lot of guns in stock. They do have ammo, a good selection of holsters, and steel targets. have good prices on ar gi mags. their background checks are quick,their staff is knowledgeable.

I was walking in there today to make a purchase and as Im walking people are coming out and as they get in their car a male employee comes out screaming profanity at then and continues as they drive away, like a crazy man! NO WAY IM GOING IN THERE NOW! stay away this place needs to go out of business they arent special for sure!
