I went there to use their print dept. for paperwork I needed asap because my cat knocked my printer off its shelf and so it therefore broke. Anyways the print dept. was easy to find and easy to use with simple instructions that each printer had on it. I would definitely use this place again if I needed to.
This place has such amazing customer service. I was looking for a brother laser printer and after going to office max and dealing with not so great customer service this place was a breath of fresh air. As soon as I walk the cashier greats me and ask if I need help and if she could help or at least point me in the right the direction. Then holy moly get to the printer section and the guy there answers my million of questions helps me get the perfect printer and is able to help me get all of the other random stuff I need.
Deborah in the printing department was amazing!! I bought ID cards for our employees on a website and they came without the hole at the top to hang on a lanyard. I brought them in and she punched them perfectly! No charge. Always friendly and helpful. Love this store!
Thanks for having my order ready to be picked up within five minutes after making my order. I had some wedding invitations to make and was getting pressed on time. Thank you for being open later as well. Helped me out a bunch. I was going to do your survey for a 10/10, but because I did an online order for curbside it didnt let me. I want to take a moment to thank your employee Jade at your photo center for taking the initiative to go beyond due diligence and helping me with a project. I went to three other photo centers around the area and was turned away without being offered any solutions or help resizing a photo for a locket for my daughter. Even though we were not able to resize the photo she offered solutions to come back and have someone with a little more experience help me tomorrow. As a manager myself I understand the value of an employee that will go an extra step to ensure that a customer has received thorough help. Thank you again Give that girl a raise. 🙂
Ordered some prints online. When I picked them up they were not the correct size. I wanted 4X6 and they printed 8x10. They fixed it right away printing it again as a 4X6 and even went the extra mile and cut them out (which I didnt know they could do, and was going to have to do that at home on my own) with no charge to me. They went above and beyond and were so kind! Will be going there every time I need prints!! Thank you so much
I had a very positive experience at this store. I went in to purchase a printer ink cartridge. I was greeted by a lady right away. I told her what I was looking for and she walked right to it and grabbed it for me. Then showed me the printer paper that was on sale. I wish I could remember her name she was very friendly as well. I will be back.
Brutal to arrive at 9:15pm only to find the havent updated their online hours to reflect they now close at 9pm.
I submitted an online pick up order, but ended up calling in to cancel it shortly after. They stated a refund would be issued within 3-5 business days.I waited the 5 business days and nothing. I noticed on my return confirmation there was a credit amount of $0 instead of the amount I paid. When I asked the store about this directly, they explained I needed to call 1-800-GODEPOT to get the issue resolved. I called, and they said to wait another few days. They said to wait 7 business days, and the store said 5.Still nothing by business day 7, so I called the 1-800 number again, and the woman said it was an issue with the stores system. So I have the store telling me to call the 1-800 number and the 1-800 number telling me to call the store. Very frustrating. How hard is it to just get my refund from an order I never ended up even picking up?We finally spoke to somebody at the 1-800 number who sent an email saying I would get my refund and the amount was changed from $0 to the actual amount I paid. This was Monday. Still nothing.Again, I have cancelled orders in the past through other businesses and my payment has always been refunded right away. Doesn’t seem like it should be this hard. Don’t go here!! Seems very concerning they can’t just return my money and no employee seems to know how anything works!
Why is this location have such bad customer service. Twice has this location been uncaring. Today the Manager Christine told me a purchase done in store for shipping can only be canceled by calling the 800# and didnt want to attempt to assist me in any way to look up and call the Seattle store without requesting it multiple times. While calling the Seattle location over the phone to make sure she did it correctly they refunded my shipping order and stayed on the phone to make sure my order went through to properly set my item aside for pickup.The second time was last year when a trying to purchase a display chair because it was the only one in stock refused to give any discount. While on the same day going to the Lakewood store had 3 in stock, the sales rep willing to search for a better price when I jokingly asked if there were any sale going on for this gaming chair, which ending in purchasing 2 chairs.
The cashier was very friendly and polite sending kudos to him wish I had got his name so I can give him a 5c shout out!
Printing department made my transactions very quick and easy. Jade was a terrific help with my business advertisements, helping me pick the right size and count. Would recommend to a friend.

Justin helped my Mother as she was purchasing a new printer. He was so patient in talking with her and made her very comfortable. Later when I was setting it up for her I called the store, Justin happened to answer the phone and was again very helpful. I am most always happy with the service I get from this store and am so very thankful for considerate employees that are helpful and courteous such as Justin was
I just left office depot and had the worst customer service experience. I ran out to get a printer and ask the gentleman in the front could he assistant me. Well, the best help he could give was to tell me he couldnt leave the front so go find one online.

I just bought printer ink a couple days ago and when I installed it, I realized it was likely my printer that was causing the problems. I was able to take the ink back and a very nice customer service agent spent time analyzing my printer to determine that it was indeed defective (printer head). He found me a new printer which was cheaper than the ink I was buying for my old printer and future ink purchases will be half as much. Very satisfied customer today.

Since you want a review so bad, heres your one-star review.Im sick of the constant begging for reviews. Even before I leave the store, I get emails begging me for reviews for each product I purchased and a separate review request for my visit to the store. If I ignore them, Ill continue to get review reminders. Ive contacted customer support on several occasions and asked them to stop harassing me with constant review requests. Their response was for me to unsubscribe. I unsubscribed, but I continue to receive harassing emails for reviews. So the only way to stop the harassment is to stop shopping at Office Depot.
Customer service representative Nick was nice and incredibly helpful. While this location did not have a specific item I was looking for Nick let me know that it would be in store on the next shipment and the two best days to check back. I really appreciate the effort he went to and I will be returning to this location.
Just want to thank the fantastic tech staff at this location for their help with buying a computer for a friend visiting from out of town. The first laptop we bought was a floor model and didnt work out (apparently always a good idea to avoid buying floor models for a variety of reasons.) After four visits to the store to try to rectify the problem, we were able to get a new laptop for the same price as the original purchase. Bryce, Harrison and Bill were all super helpful and provided amazing customer service. I recommend this store and these employees 100%. With the number of office supply stores shrinking ever day I feel grateful that this Office Depot is still providing such great service.

I attempted to place an order for 300 double sided color flyers - which would have meant about $500 in revenue to them, and would take about 15 minutes.Stormy the clerk at the print department immediately objected even though its 2.5 hours before close.I told her I understood - and requested she do 100 of them - even though nothing was running on the printers.She seemed happy to tell me I could only get 50 (which does me no good) ... and sent me on my way.Poor service and decision making - as I will now head to their competition on this high margin easy job.

I had placed an order for 200 color-copy newsletters. While the process did not go as smoothly as I had hoped, it was the way the situation was handled that prompts the 5-star review. Andy in the print department went well above and beyond what was needed to address the issue. Further, he took the time to make suggestions for future newsletters that will create a better product visually. His extensive background in printing and copying provides him with a wealth of knowledge that I hadnt experienced in any of my previous visits to Office Depot. I truly hope that management takes a minute to thank Andy for a job very well done. I look forward to dealing with him in the future.
A good selection of products for your formal or private office needs. However, very deceptive sales practices. On a few occasions Ive found their sale items to actually be more expensive than days without promotion. Their promotional content intended to get you to rush into the store for that item you need before the sale ends. Well, its not a sale. Furthermore, while buying an item (printer), I had a sales employee stress that I absolutely needed ink because default ink cartridges are only good for a few pages. Im currently around 80 pages printed from the default ink, and its still going strong. In other words, theyll smile and lie to you attempting to get a sale. Lastly, you pay on the front end for their rewards program. Meaning not only do they get all your purchase data, which is very valuable, but you pay at the register on the front end, to need to return to the store later to use their points. Its a cycle of giving them money for nothing, and hopefully coming back and getting your discount later on. Which repeats the cycle again. I honestly dont know how Office Depot stays in business, but I reckon itll follow the way of JC Penny and Sears soon enough.

Terrible customer service. Went in to purchase a PC, Monitor & Software but the 2 associates I talked with didnt know anything about the systems on hand. I asked questions about various setups (Hp, Lenovo, Dell, etc.) No help at all. But I watched as they assisted others after talking with me. Dont waste your ⏰ or $$$s!
Products nice selection. Floor help was great. Checkout not as friendly. Ive noticed a pattern with the checkout help this past year. They seem to be too distracted to focus on the customer in front of them.

As I have looked over some of the other reviewers comments I see Im not alone! The purpose of a sale is to give consumers a price that is both appealing to the consumer and profitable to the retailer as well. The practice of raising prices artificially and then lowering them is disgraceful, dishonest and deceptive quoting another reviewer. The item was originally priced at $199.97 and went on sale for $249.00? I was told that it must have been an in store, just that one store in the whole corporation that was selling it at that price. wow. I loved shopping at this store they have ample offerings but as a lot of big businesses find out it is the customer that is king. I think youll be seeing the office depot brand going away if these practices continue. Office depot math> original price $199.97 raise the original price to $299.99 then lower that to $249.99 and call it on sale!!! Nice way of doing business, whats next none going-out-of-business sales?

Great place, friendly staff, helpful, great services available, not always fully stocked but willing to help find products equal or order more. I liked being able to bring my papers in for shredding, that was extremely helpful.
So, Ive never been in this store before, I came in to get supplies for work. I was in here for an hour trying to find what I needed, staff standing around talking and staring but no one approached me the whole time I was in there. I finally had enough walking around like a chicken with its head cut off and approached I believe it was a manager. No hello or nothing, grabbed the product out of my hand and said if it doesnt work then just return it. So helpful. Never again.
Good place to get all of your office supplies. They have a nice printing and shipping center. The place is rarely crowded, and has fast check out.

I hadnt been in a office depot for some time. I just havent had the need but recently I found myself in need of some legal forms. They had the forms, for that I am grateful. The problem is finding an associate who isnt socializing and understood what I was looking for and where I would find it proved a challenge. I finally found the forms on my own accord after a couple failed attempts to garner assistance.I should have just downloaded them. Nearly as frustrating but at least I can do it in my pajamas if I want to.
I went to this store and I talked to the printing department representative named, Chirstine. I placed an order for printing business marketing files like documents, flyers, forms, etc. I needed my order to be finished by the weekend. So she said it will be done on time in 2 days. I got a call back the same evening in a couple of hours that my order is ready to be picked up. I was impressed by her dedication, enthusiasm, and work speed. I will always go back to this local store for my printing services.
I have never been compelled to write a review of any business, negative or positive, until last night. I had placed an order Saturday evening, and received an email that my order would be ready at 4pm the next day. I received a call around 3 telling me that my posted file was corrupted. They could open it, but couldnt send it to the printers. Which is definitely an issue on their end. I arrived and tried to log on to google drive to make sure the file was okay, but the computer wouldnt allow me to log in.I then inquired about the four other documents I needed printed. I was informed that my order had been cancelled, due to my card being declined. My card should not have been run until my order was picked up, which was my first concern. My second was that they never informed me that my order had been cancelled. They were able to track it down, and took almost 20 minutes to ring me up, because the sales associates couldnt figure out how to apply a coupon to my order.Once that was sorted out, I wandered around the store for half an hour, grabbing a few other items I needed. When I returned to the counter, the sales associate hadnt started printing my order and was instead talking with another customer for another 20 minutes. When my order was finally printed, the sales associate ignored the directions on my spiral bound book and needed to reprint and bind it, then printed another document on the wrong paper, again, only realizing the error after it was pointed out to her.During this entire interaction, the sales associate was less than polite and seemed annoyed by my existance. I got a half-apology as I left with my order. I have never experienced such poor customer service. I would not recommend this location for any printing services.On the plus side, during my wait I was able to send the poster document to FedEx down the street. I arrived 20 minutes later. It was ready for me when I got there and was printed with no issues.

They have a FedEx here that doesnt ship anymore and employees that have no training on how to scan or send emails...however, they can make a snazzy business card and laminate stuff if one needs those things.

I often hear a lot of negative things about Office Depot. However, from my experience the store in Lacey Washington has always giving me what I wanted which is service, value and convenience.
I processed a return on April 2 with pickup scheduled for April 4. However, I waited ALL day and Office Depot carrier was a no-show! When he did show the following Monday, no apology. Ive since awaited refund and received nothing but the run-around and differing conflicting (lying) excuses for Office Depots failure to refund my $308.15. It is now 17 days since the return was initiated and 12 days since they finally picked it up, still NO refund after multiple contacts.
