I really enjoy shopping at Stater Bros. One thing I always notice at this store is the cleanliness of everything. There is no disarray, shelves are fronted and faced impeccably and associates are beyond friendly. The meat department is probably the best of any market around here (they have real butchers to serve you). The deli is clean and well stocked. They have fresh sushi prepared in-store, the liquor department has a great selection of wines, spirits and beer and prices are very competitive. What more could you ask for? Id give them 6 stars if I could.

This store is well organized, clean and of course the meat department is wonderful. They seem to have everything that I need. The staff are helpful and friendly.

If you live to eat, then having a good grocery store near by with good produce and meat counter is vital, and Stater Brothers does a pretty good job of achieving this. Their meat counter is fairly large and diverse with many marinaded items that are pretty darn good. On top of all that, their prices are fair for the quality of food they provide. Their produce department is above average with some local selections too.

I dont generally shop at staters bros, if I had one close perhaps I would because I always thought there meat dept was great. went in to pick up a couple items the aisles looked stock and very clean, meat dept help was great. They had two registers open for P. O. S thats Point Of Sale. I cant say it was a bad experience so I am a satisfied customer.

Ive been shopping at this Stater Brothers for over 20 years. It is always clean, well stocked and friendly. The only thing Ive noticed lately is they need more staff.

Its a nice store always clean but some of the employees need to be taught manners and customer service.

Enjoyed friendly staff and customers. I found everything I needed. Store organized and cleankeep up the good work.

I have been coming here for quite a few years and the customer service is still spot on. I appreciate their diligence in protecting the employees and customers during this pandemic that is still an issue.

This location doesnt let people in without a mask. Crazy that I have to pass the Stater Bros in Indio to get to this location but well worth it. Mad respect for the manager who stepped in, and calmly and respectfully defused the tense situation. Love it when a boss watches out and steps up for their employees, well done.

Great shopping in the evening not many people in the store, i love Stater Bros.

The meats are the best. The newly remodeled store is bright and clean. Love the wide isles. My son works at another area market and I had him run in a get me a few items when he was taking me home. He immediately remarked how well stocked the store was and loved the new wide isles. I recently bought 2 small cakes at your bakery and the woman there was so sunny and helpful. The cakes were a great hit at a party and several asked where they could buy them.

Clean store. Wide aisles. Good selection of groceries. I dont live in the area anymore but when I come back to visit I enjoy shopping at Staters. It was my go to market when I lived here for 25 years.

This was a nice store experience. They have fresh sushi there, with a third party sushi chef making it in front of you. Its decent, not bad. Its better than your average convenience store sushi.

They are in the middle of renovation so the place doesnt have flooring. They always have enough registers open which I really appreciate. The cashiers are fast and pleasant. The fruit is a little high but then thats why you shop around. They had some really good bargains this time. Over all its a great Neighborhood market.

Feels like a high end market, yet Staters great prices

The La Quinta store itself is great. Staff are friendly except for the deli staff. Every time I buy a chicken meal from there, the same lady who always helps me is really rude to me every time. Makes me not want to buy from the deli anymore.

Excellent fried chicken. Their fruit is also fresh.

The Staters in La Quinta is a little bigger than in Indio, but still just as friendly and customer oriented.

My first time here at this location. The lady at the meat stand refused to cut my ribs in half and her tone of voice is lack of customer service. I’ve done this many time in the other location. The one in Beaumont and Palm desert has way better customer service. Won’t come back here.

This particular Stater Bros only has one entrance which makes it a target for pan handlers and unwanted solicitors that are now unavailable. If youre looking for a comfortable shopping experience, look elsewhere.

The steak masters! Love it!

Two avocados for $4! That is crazy. Walmart is overstocked and their avocados are still a little unripe. Had I planned the my making of shrimp cocktail better, I would have bought from Walmart and ripened the avocados myself. To top it off, there were less than our just about 20 avocados to choose from. Some of which were not shelf worthy.

Not only were they out of what we came to get but then they had closed the door that we came into so we had to walk back across the store and proceed to walk all the way back! Kind of an inconvenience when theres no reason to close it. Also the lady who rung us up was more worried about clocking out and going to palm springs then she was with her customer service.

We dont usually shop here but we were disappointed on 2 accounts. 1. They have signs throughout the store that say Save $1 instantly on certain items. Not being a regular customer, I did not know you have to sign up for a program on your phone to get those savings. Its a little late to find this out when you get to the checkout counter! So I am already at a higher priced store than I am used to, now I lose out on the coupons I thought I had. 2. To top it all off the checker Adela asked me Do you need one bag?, and I said yes one bag will do, but she charged me for 2! So overall, not a good experience. Its the little things that matter to me when finding a place to shop and getting nickle and dimed at the end doesnt make it worth it to me to shop here again.

Remodel is nice. But, they wasted their money... There are no hand baskets, no U-scan, no scan-pay option, and no second exit/entrance now... Poor design and schematic/layout.

It always smells like raw sewage in the parking lot. Started going to Vons across the street. They do not smell like raw sewage.

Its about the same as any other supermarket. You go in, get your stuff, go to the cash register, the cashier asks how youre doing, you pay, you leave. Ive never had a problem with any of the products Ive purchased here.

Always look forward to heading to our local Food market to stock up and Stater Bros is one of my favorites for there customer service, deals and the food is great.

Dont shop in here to speak of because again when you walk in it smells of old fish. It was the same way when it was Albertsons. Dont know if its just in the fixtures or what.

I went in for some carne asada last night and it felt like a real grocery store experience. Flashback to 1955!I was minding my own business because thats what people in California grocery stores do. We turn around and stare at the cereal when someone else comes down the aisle (instead of smiling and saying hi) We suck as a society in this aspectAs the nice butcher lady came through with some delicious carne asada a regular patron came up and exclaimed “hey little honey, I havent seen you in a month” excited to see her. The man and his son gave me a nod that said “enjoy” and I headed off to see if the mochi ice cream is on sale. If not I use the competitor across the street for my mochi lolMochi unsuccessful I headed off to grab some ghetto toilet paper passing a polite senior citizen lady who nodded and said hi (a reminder that we can learn a lot about how to act from our elders)During checkout there were 3 registers open with only the person being checked out ahead in line. Amazing! The bagger came up and knocked things out of the park. He came up and asked how my day was. Probably perfectly trained. I was pretty awkward still surprised people were talking to me in a grocery store but dude held it downA grocery store should be like this. Good job yesterday

The LaQuinta store does not enforce its customers wearing a mask in its store. This is not good. I’m not shopping this store now...and I’m telling all I know.
