This store couldn’t be more convenient to my house or my commute, but shopping there is always so frustrating. Let’s take today as an example (pics attached): the racks in the men’s dept are totally disheveled - making it hard to find the right style or size. It also looks dirty and is evidence the store doesn’t care. The grocery shelves are completely bare in places. Why don’t they restock? Some product is listed as a “substitute” yet contains the actual substance it is substituting. Why? When I checked out, a pack of bell peppers had no SKU, bar code, nor price tag. The clerk didn’t have a produce cheat card at his register. He walked to borrow his neighbor’s. It was the wrong one. He eventually asks a manager for help. The manager’s response: “Oh yeah, that happens all the time with those. I don’t know the price.” Umm... if it happens all the time, it’s a known issue and you, a manager, should have a workaround. The store just does not care.

Standard Target which was pretty clean. When the lines get long, they open registers proactively. Plenty of selection of products and it’s the standard target layout. Plenty of parking and easily accessible of 111.

I have to say that Ive always loved Target. Initially, I was walking in to do order pick up, and my friend said to try Drive Up. Now, its my go to. I have had nothing but excellent service at the La Quinta Target. All orders have been correct, and the team members are all friendly and courteous. I am lucky to be able to go at what are considered less busy times, but even on a weekend, the wait was minimal and the experience has been positive. During these stressful times, its really great to have something to rely on.

I generally like shopping at Target. What I dont like is that many times items are marked to be on sale and then when the item is scanned, it doesnt give you the sale price. It happened to me today...

Stopped in on a long weekend trip, everyone was super helpful and friendly that works there. They had everything we were looking for and then some! Definitely will go back if needed on this trip. (Picture is of mountains right behind Target)

The most important reason for the score I selected is that the Target employees are very nice and actually check the back stock to see if they have the item you want.

This went from my favorite place to my least favorite place so quickly. I am here on a Tuesday morning at 8o’clock when they are supposed to open and they are not letting anyone in except for seniors. Online it is posted that that is on Wednesday and they will open an hour EARLIER for them. So that is now them having the wrong time and the wrong day posted online. I really needed supplies for my baby early this morning so tried to come right when they said they are allowing people to go in. It’s one thing to Open earlier and them have to accommodate to that since it is for their benefit but now not to let others in at the time they say they are open that is just completely wrong. Not to mention that I do have a disease that makes me high risk which is why I try to come early also but can’t get in either.

When I come to visit my parents I love this target!! It’s very clean and well stocked.. bigger target then my hometown target. I recommend this one... the employees are super nice to.

Nicely organized store.

Not my favorite Target. Last year the layout was completely shuffled. The grocery section an pharmacy are in the same places, but most everything else is in a different place and I waste way too much time looking for things. I will probably get used to it, but I now waste several minutes with every visit.

La Quinta location handles drive up orders very quickly which is important to me because I have a baby in the car and it gets hot

A man by the name of Xavier racially profiles me from the start then I try to price match some Pokémon cards. And after 20 mins he’s says no. He scanned the product I wanted to buy 5 times and scrolled through my phone leaving grease prints and on top of that he is sweating a lot. So I left

I usually go to the palm desert location, but I will start coming to the La Quinta branch from now on. Sonia and Xavier had the best customer service skills. They helped me with an issue I had with my coupon. Sonia made sure I was taken care of and handled the situation perfectly :)

I absolutely LOVE Target, and the La Quinta store has some amazing employees. Had been to 3 stores looking for marshmallow bits, and although their websites said they had them, they didn’t!! grrrrrr Went to the La Quinta store with a bad attitude (I was FRUSTRATED), and looked in the obvious places for the bits. Finally ended up asking an employee and he left his project and came to help me. He was polite, helpful and he deserves a raise!!

I love this store. Ive been shopping here for years. However, today I was assisted by a new cashier (havent seen her before) named Cristi. She does not have any customer service skills. Typically your staff greets and she never greeted us. We had waters in our carts that were a bit heavy to unload so we asked her to please come around and scan them and she sighed, eye rolled and nodded in disapproval and seemed very annoyed. Lastly, instead of handing us the receipt or even placing on the counter she literally dropped it with the rest of our stuff and turned away. Bad, bad, bad 👎 ... dont get in her line!!!

Since I live eight miles away, I occasionally want to call the store to find out if they have a specific item before I make the drive. And NO ONE answers the phone in ANY department. They are currently advertising job availability when you call and tell you to stay on the line if you are interested, and I even tried that and NO ONE answered. Must not need employees very badly. I will send an email to headquarters about this and will take all my business to their favorite competitor--Walmart!

Its a one stop shopping situation with good prices. Groceries, household goods, electronics, clothes..... The other thing is that the staff are friendly.

Your store is going through a major remodel (so excited!!) Associates and managers are very friendly, offering to walk customers to depts. when asked a question/where to locate particular products. They also help customers carry items, etc... overall Im very impressed - especially when your under such a huge full store remodel. Nicely done Target, the music was a plus - Ill be back! :)

All the workers were very friendly and helpful. Alexia my Cashier was Awesome and helpful. She scanned and bagged my items quickly and did a great job of it and protected my bananas and was polite and friendly. Very professional of her.

I went into Target to sign up for Consumer Cellar and to purchase a phone the sales person went over and beyond in helping me. I had gone to Walmart prior and had gotten such bad service that is why I went to Target.

Great costumer service! Very convincing selling their products, the guys in electronics are very helpful and knowledgeable they explained the difference between gaming systems but let you decide on your own and based on your situation they also recommend what could be best for you. This store is also very reliable on their products stock.

This store is giving Target a bad name. It looks more like a thrift store than a Target store. I only go to buy specific items. I cant even get to the shoes because most of them are on the floor. It is dirty, unorganized and just uncared for. I said something to an employee once and one of the front managers and they had no idea what I meant. Seriously! My husband wont shop here at all. He drives to the one in Palm Desert even though the La Quinta location is only 5 min from my house. From looking at other reviews, I am not the only person who has noticed this major downhill turn this store has taken. Managers and corporate need to pay attention and do something. Very disappointing Target.

Had the items I needed in stock by orderingonline. Long lines and and no household cleaners. Lazy employees and no clearanced items.

A place that has a variety of items for every room in the house. I received a soda maker for Christmas, now I am in need of the CO2 tank refill. Which I was able to get here, filled at half price and ready to go. Been shopping at a target store for years. There are so many been able to still go to one of the stores with every move I have made.

My item scanned different price on register..but when I scanned the item on my scanner it gave me a lower price...my cashier called a manager (marisela) and she looked into it on her scanner and honored the low price. NOW THATS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE on behalf of the cashier and definitely the manager. Thank you will shop at this store definitely.

Pretty good, the employees that have been the more yrs are friendly & helpful, but most of the newer younger ones dont even acknowledge. .much less OFFER assistance. ..used to be fun & friendly but younger people are different. .even some mangt.

Ever since they remodeled the store there are NEVER enough tellers and they stopped carrying 2/3 of the items I used to go to target for. I am so sad to say I am DONE with target and will not be back.

I received a coupon from Target via mail. Spend $100 save $20 . I decided to go Christmas shopping there and when I went to check out the coupon did not work because it had a lot of exclusions. All I was buying was kids toys. Very disappointing. Dont send coupons inside a gift guide packaging if everything is excluded!

A Target store is a Target store but the food selection here isnt always the best. This location can use fresher food since the Indio location closed. The store is also pretty messy every time I walk in there especially the shoe and $1 areas. It takes a hot minute to find a shoe size and correct price.

Definitely the nicest target in the best area in the desert, in my opinion. Consistently clean and not over crowded. Much newer than Palm Desert, and it shows in many ways.

The one thing that made me laugh was the elderly couple who said “target is slower than wal mart now we’re done” while I was buying my groceries. There were two cashiers and self check out going around ten am on Tues. Each had 8-10 people in line. Oops lol

Reasonable prices and great selections

It was super crowded today and the Starbucks is pretty slow. The cashiers and customers service people are always very nice and they always treat my kids like real people which is nice. Overall I like shopping there.

This store is being remodeled. However they have porta potty bathrooms outside in 100 degree weather. My wife had our 8 month old son with her. This made it extremely difficult to use the bathroom with a baby. This makes no sense. Plus there was no place to even change my sons diaper. This is unacceptable.

I love everything target. i like the new changes to the store, i like the new brands. i love the prices.

Please dont buy electronics here, horrible return policy. Bought switch game 3 days ago, wont return it even for in store credit. Had just returned other switch games to Costco, Walmart without any problem. Ive heard of Target having horrible return problems but hadnt experienced it until now. excited for online retailers to run these places out of businesses who dont put customers first. Dont buy TVs, phones, consoles, games here. Youve been warned

This is a Remodeled location, which Looks Nice...But Uggggh, I really HATE TARGET!!!Too Many Reasons to Name...

Clean, organized but lack in customer service. You can go from one end of the store to the other end and not see and employee. Pharmacy changed hands and I wasnt able to get my needed shots because of the uncertainty of the policy or whatever they had to do during the take over. I had insurance at the time that covered my injection. Now I would have to pay $80.00. the store however is clean, they have s mean pizza fast food and Starbucks and McDonalds are conveniently located in the front of the store.

The La Quinta store is a disaster. I know they’re doing construction, but it is single handily the most unusable store in all of retail. There is 0 organization. With as much craziness there is going on in the store, you think they’d have more help, but sadly there was no one there to help you. I go to this store because it’s the closest one, but the Indio store was closer and incredibly more efficient. I hate that it’s no longer around, it was a great store.
