The Palm Desert store is a much better store, better stocked with a greater variety of goods, wider aisles, and an overall cleaner appearance. Sorry folks is this end of the Valley less deserving? One gets the impression that this is so.

Tried to go inside its only 9:45 theyre supposed to close at 10:00 but the doors are locked and the employees dont even look at you theyre just counting the cash registers getting ready to go home today is Saturday August 31st 2019

Place has everything you need with out the giant costco hassle and lines great prices on most items and they do sell bulk items also my go to if I dont want to hassle with the Costco nonsense

Like a mini Costco! Ive always loved Smart Final. Clean, very bright, and always well stocked! You can find everything from fresh meat & Veges, to industrial cleaning and catering supplies. Customer service always friendly!

These days being a smart shopper means choosing where to buy certainitems and how to plan a shopping route. Smart and Final does not carryeverything I use or buy, but then again, no store does. But, Smart and Finalis always on my shopping route because it is always worth the savings, whateverI choose to buy there that day.

I had a cashier by the name of Bethany, she was in the worst mood ever. She did not acknowledge me; no greeting, no eye contact and not even a smile. She acted as if I was a bother to her as I removed my groceries out of my cart and on to the conveyor belt. I handed her my reusable shopping bags, she grabbed them from my hand, once again there were no words coming from her mouth. She proceeded to toss them rudely on her counter top and when she did so, she threw one of my bags at me and it fell to the floor. No apology from her whatsoever as she waited for ME..yes ME...to pick it up and hand it her way. I was upset and I did ask her DID YOU THROW MY BAG AT ME? She didnt respond. I spent almost $300 in this store and I was treated with such disrespect. I will not be returning to the LA Quinta Smart N Final. Management needs to retrain Bethany or fire her.

Its ok but if you have a complain of someone the main office is dead to the customers therefore just buy what you need and thats if nobody else has it in another words stay away

A good route always has consistency; it is there when I need it to be there. If I dont know that you will always (usually, most of the time) have what I need, then it doesnt pay for me to include you in my route.
