I called at least five local mechanics to see if they could work on my 2007 Audi A6 Quattro before finding Able! And Im so glad that I did! He did a great job repairing my car. Ive worked with sooo many mechanics in the past since Ive pretty much always owned cars that were over 20 years old and needed plenty of repairs (until recently)... Able knows his stuff, is fast, and charges a fair amount. I would definitely recommend making an appointment before taking your car in because he owns and runs his own shop. He wont make you wait more than a day or two before letting you bring your car in and its worth the wait for his expertise and work ethic of course!

Able is my man right here! I have USAA had an issue and Able was so good at his job he fixed it right up, I even brought my husband here... if you want a trustworthy mechanic able is ur guy BTW he is a former Marine so you know the service will be reliable and professional. He definitely wont beat around the bush and tell you the problem straight up and if its even worth fixing. I definitely recommend Express Auto & Smog on Whittier Blvd right behind La Habra High also theres quite a good amount of diff auto shops make sure u READ the sign!

A 20% markup is far, far less than the dealerships--especially for German cars--who will put on something like a 500%-1000% markup. The Porsche dealership wanted $4000 for new catalytic converters for my Porsche! I actually bought the CA state recommended part for $115. I wanted a replacement key for my Porsche, the dealer wanted $600.00 -- SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A KEY!!!! And youre crabbing about a 20% markup???If Abel charged you a 20% markup, he is WAY UNDER market!!Able worked on my car for a tune up, and told me that I didnt even need a new belt--it was still in good shape. He could have easily changed it and charged me, but he didnt !! I would say that was really honest!!! The tune-up was needed; new plugs and fuel filter, but he didnt put anything on that wasnt needed. It runs way better now, and the check engine light that I drove in with was off when I left.

If youre looking for an honest mechanic to repair your vehicle, correctly the 1st time, without ripping you off, definitely check this place out. Abel is a great mechanic. Since Express Auto is in a complex with multiple auto repair shops, be careful that you dont accidentally stop at the wrong shop.

Overcharged for parts. Able added 20% on top of what were too high priced parts to begin with.If you are looking for an honext mechanic....keep on looking. Yoiu wont find it at this shop.
