The products which they sell are reasonable and have a good brand or wines whiskey and liquor and many bottles and its all at a reasonable price will be going back again and sell sodas in there too for the chaser

Out of this world customer service. Came into town from Tampa, FL to get some stock and was treated like royalty. Probably one of the best liquor stores I’ve ever been to!

Came downtown to grab take-out and failed to check if they had walk in service. Sign on the door was super clear about my options (call or shop online) so I was about to step back to place an order.The employee popped out of the door and asked if I knew what I wanted. My dads one request for his lunch the next day was margaritas but nice tequila so I relayed that. The employee asks a price range and then comes back quickly with a nice looking bottle of some smooth tequila that also is not too nice to be a tragedy to mix. I also vaguely described a sake drink I had at a local restaurant last year and found the exact product. He ran my card and I was walking away in three minutes!Although I did have to run back for some triple Sec because I could not disappoint my family the next day, haha.Great service, very knowledgeable, and trying to keep contact low to keep customers (and staff!) safe.

Be careful with your card. This place will charge you an extra transaction. I was charged what i got and then the same day an extra charge. Ive only been there once. Watch your statements if you shop here.

Unfortunately our experience was terrible. After refusing entry to us on the grounds of being more afraid of covid than the massive amounts of infectious agents found on a typical smartphone, they took our order and then proceeded to choose for us the most expensive of their selection. The snobbery and condescension was palpable. Nauseating.

Im mostly a beer drinker, and they aways have an interesting selection. Their liquor and wine offerings are also great quality, and if you have any questions the staff always do their best to get you the right answer. Theyre also just nice people. 10/10 would pet if this store was a dog

Was shopping for a particular type of wine that I was picking up for a friend. I had never tried it and had no idea what it was like. The staff took the time to look it up and help me find something similar to it for my friend. Very knowledgeable and polite.

The guy at the register is super nice. They have a wide variety of spirits and the price range is also wide. They sell cigarettes too. They have very nice whiskey and sake and some good Mezcal too.

Good selection of wine, pretty good selection of craft beer, great selection of liquor. Reasonably priced, for Tennessee. Good place to go if you want to get some wine that you will enjoy, rather than guzzle (lookin at you college students).

Poor return policy, this store will not accept a return for a bottle that is still sealed. I will instead go to Total Wines where I can return a bottle that is sealed or even open for whatever reason. At minimum any store should accept a sealed bottle back if you change your mind so I find this places policy unacceptable.

This review primarily focuses on the wine section of Downtown Wine & Spirits. DL and team have done a great job sourcing and stocking what I consider to be the best selection (for the size) in Knoxville. Not only do they carry staple varietals, they really shine when it comes to obscure and hard-to-find wines, especially from Spain. The focus on organic and sustainable wines across the entire price spectrum is impressive. There is everything from (great) affordable week-night boxed wine to once-in-a-life and special occasion splurges in their reserve room. Even when trying random wines or recommendations from DL Im unfamiliar with, Ive never had a bottle from here that I didnt enjoy (if not love). Prices arent bargain basement, but they are fair.

Not a huge place but a carefully selected and complete offering of wines, fortified wines (vermouths in particular), and high end spirits as well as the usual selection. They have items I cant find anywhere else in Knoxville.
