Melissa from the vision center is the most rude, nasty and unprofessional person I’ve ever encountered when going to get glasses in my life. I have been wearing glasses for 20+ years now and have ALWAYS had a good experience at the vision center in Walmart until my brand new glasses fell apart and got scratched 2 weeks after receiving them.I went in to get the lens replaced and the screw put back in, because they were WELL within their warranty, and Melissa had an attitude from the very beginning. She immediately told me she wouldn’t replace the lens for me and gave no reason for it. I thought it was going to be simple since I had JUST gotten the glasses and have been using their Vision Center for 10+ years, but she made it difficult for no reason. When I got upset and asked her questions, she talked down to me like a child, talked over me, wouldn’t let me get a word in without cutting me off and continued to say she wouldn’t help me. I finally had enough and gave her a taste of her own medicine and she had the nerve to say “don’t get nasty with me!” when I didn’t even curse or raise my voice.Jokes on her anyway, the insurance company replaced my lens FOR FREE and said I was WELL within my warranty. They themselves didn’t understand why she was giving me such a hard time. They also gave me a $50 Walmart gift card because of her incompetence :)

Very good store. The acacia trees are the best on parking log. Parking in the shade of these trees and not coming back to the oven is tremendous advantage.

Good experience getting the glasses and doctors visit. Glasses frames came loose only 2 weeks later and came apart. Called store and was told that Walmart did not have a replacement policy and to call my insurance company. I work 12 hour shifts and didnt get around to calling till around 1.5 weeks later. Insurance company told me it would have to go through the Walmart store. So i called the store again. SAME WOMEN answered the phone, but this time told me to just bring my frames up and they will look at them. When I told her someone at that store told me to call the insurance company, she told me That didnt sound like something anyone here would say. We wouldnt have said that. I am not a rude person, So i didnt rub it into her face that she, was in fact, the one who told me that 1.5 weeks prior. Sooo... yeah. Not mad. Just, frustrated. I have never left a comment on any good or bad experience for any place of business. But I felt I needed too this time due to the fact that this is just poor (not horrible) customer service.

I was happy with the nice young girl who helped me pick out frames. However I was NOT the list bit happy with the eye specialist or whatever her title was who measured my glasses for my bifocals. I explained to her that I needed a bigger field for the bifocal because last time they did it the field was too small ending up straining my eyes. I told her this is what my eye doctor told me. As a matter of fact my previous eye doctor said the same thing! Then she couldnt even understand the prescription! Wow lady. Go back to school. And while you are at it go get yourself a pair of glasses.

Great doctor, AWFUL front staff. Rude, antagonistic, and 100% sure they are right. If you hate being helpful, dont work in customer SERVICE.

The people here are very helpful and professional. Not really what I expected from a Wal-Mart but figured I would give this place a shot after having a bad experience at another local franchised vision center. The way I was treated was a pleasant surprise and I will definitely be using their services again in the future. Had to only give 4 stars because, lets face it - you have to be subjected to the local Wal-Mart.

My eye doctor and his assistant are great, which is why I put up with a somewhat rude, sometimes incompetent front staff.
