Maskless service manager, Eugene C. Waterbury, Jr. Harasses CustomerIve taken three vehicles for service to Bengal Motors for three years now. Most of my experiences have been decent - until today.Justin, who oversees inspections & oil changes, was friendly and informative as always. I ate my lunch in the larger dealership waiting area until my car was done.Upon returning to the service area to wait for my car to be taken one last time around the block before check out, I sat down in the service area seating. Within one minute, a man emerged from the back office, approached and stood over me, and began demanding I go to the dealership waiting room.Mr. Eugene Waterbury did not initially ask what I was waiting for. When I asked why, he said that this was a high traffic area and I should not be sitting there.I noted that I was not in anyones way and was waiting in chairs for customers. He began repeatedly stating, MOVE, MAAM. I told him to stop harassing me. He finally asked Justin, who had just walked inside, what I was waiting for. Justin told him my car was being run around the block one last time and that it was finished.Mr. Waterbury told Justin to get her out of here as soon as possible!This man stood over me, NO MASK, telling me to MOVE, citing only that this was a high traffic area - with no one in that area but myself and him and one other customer rep at the far end of the room.I was rung up within five minutes of Mr. Waterburys initial harassment. Even if I had walked back to the dealership, Justin would have had to follow and ask me to return within two minutes.This man was NOT concerned with COVID-19. At least, not concerned with giving it to me, since he was standing over me & telling me on repeat to MOVE.HIS CONCERN: He decided to engage in a power-play when I did not immediately obey his initial command to leave the room.I recorded the last part of Mr. Waterburys harassment, which is worthy of going viral on Twitter & Instagram. I will tag Bengal Motors when I post.Begnal Motors, I hope you ask Mr. Waterbury to remain in his office from now on. He does NOT cultivate good customer relations and you risk being reported for harassment to the Better Business Bureau. He also raises health concerns with his lack of social distance & maskless engagement while standing directly above a seated customer.In fact, you would be better off removing Mr. Waterbury from his front-facing position with customers and replace him with representatives like Justin, who are consistently polite, friendly and informative.Picture: the high traffic area seating Mr. Waterbury did not want me sitting in for four minutes.

Just purchase a 2021 Dodge ram 1500 my sales man was Kyle. Hey did an amazing job finding the vehicle that I needed for my business. I need a truck to pull 8200 pounds he was able to find my truck with the I wanted with the interior colors I wanted. I definitely recommend buy a vehicle from these guys they were awesome treated us with respect. And listen to everything I asked for without ignoring me I would definitely recommend them. This place gives you parts that are refurbished, wanted to charge 700$ for a part that cost only 200$… took the truck here they fixed it, but really didn’t fix it.. the truck was broke the next day with the same problem.. YOU CHOOSE if you wann go here, I’ll never be found at this rip off again…

My fiancé and I have brought his diesel truck here multiple times to be serviced, first couple of times no issues but this last time was ridiculous. We went in to have the fuel filters changed (which mind you they were the last place to change them before this) and after many hours and having to come back multiple times because they still could not get them off. They finally got them off but after breaking the housing and insisting we’d have to pay for that part although they did not tell us they’d have to break it or ask. They tried to say it was $1,200( if you buy it on your own from mopar it’s less then $500) and we’d just have pay that which is wrong, why are we paying for a part we didn’t break or ask for ?? We also specifically said if it’s the housing don’t bother. Now due to the fact we said we were not paying for the part they never ordered it so the truck sat there even longer while we went back and forth trying to get them to understand it’s not our job to pay for things they broke! They finally got it all fixed and even agreed we shouldn’t pay for anything but this took over a week of back and forth, calling their corporate offices and so much stress. We will not be going back and DO NOT recommend them for servicing your vehicle of any kind!!!!

Purchased a used 2017 Nissan Rogue in August 2020.Dana was our salesman. We told him exactly what we were looking for. He showed us a few different makes and models that fit the criteria. Refused an inspection because the service dept didnt like where my TINT EXEMPTION sticker was placed... nothing but lazy staff who dont wanna do their job in the quick lube area... will never take my BRAND NEW car back here again extreme disrespect from the manager and staff... only select few people are nice here
I bought a vehicle from begnal in March and i have to say i was a little nervous because i previously owned a Nissan and the service department was great to me where i purchased it but i wanted a dodge this time around and i wanted the same care and attention that i had. This dealership is awesome especially the tall guy dan who deals with warranties and financing this guy should be president of the company words can not explain dealing with him. I have been in for oil changes and mopar seat covers and the service department is excellent especially with loaner vehicles and when im ready to pay they always have some type of discount or incentive to give. I highly recommend this place i actually feel like a family member when I walk in. I never was at this dealership ever in my life nor know anyone there i was a total stranger just winging it to buy a dodge ram.
Employees not wearing masks and had attitude about it, they broke my trim and didnt replace it, didn’t call when part came in,, didn’t tell me car would be very noisy when I left. Three strikes in 1 visit. After 2 visits job not done.Dread going back to finish, what will they break next?

I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee from them and I loved my experience. They took care of me, made sure I could drive while I didnt have my vehicle yet and negotiated a great price. I now go to them for all vehicle repairs, they take good care of everything and they are very nice. While you wait they have a comfortable waiting area with drinks and snacks. (and if you bring your dog everyone wants to say hi) I suggest them to anyone buying a vehicle!

6 weeks after getting an oil leak fixed at there service department, my car burns down from what the fire investigator said was oil related....called the service manager and he takes NO responsibility at all. a 2014 Fiat 500 should not burn down.. now im out the money I put down to buy the car AND my insurance deductible... Extremely Upset and Disappointed! I don’t trust many places to bring my car, but the one place who has done a flawless job everytime has finally put the nail in the coffin. I had dropped my vehicle off for a scheduled service, in immaculate condition and received my vehicle back damaged...! Paid for a service that has been completed many times, without error and now I’m being told it didn’t happen on their facility when it most certainly did. Not one but two wheels damaged on my vehicle, stating a rock or something must have flung up and damaged the center caps and flat spokes of my wheels.... I think not. I’m extremely dissatisfied and shocked. If Begnal Motors, continues to avoid to making it right, don’t expect me or my family to shop, or service with you again. I paid premium for a service to be completed RIGHT the first time, with no damages done to the car....

Everyone I dealt with at Begnal was outstanding and kept did what you would like them to do. The salesman was Dana Dunckle, he was great his communication was excellent. The sales manager Paul Roeber was fair and Randy Knoetzel in the finance department was professional and spot on. These folks gave me a fair price for my trade and a fair price on the vehicle I purchased a certified 2017 Ram Crew Cab on November 30th 2020. They did everything right, they were fair, professional, courteous kept their commitments and exceeded my expectations. This was one of the easiest vehicle purchases Ive ever made. I would purchase form them again and I highly recommend them based on how I was treated. You wont be disappointed by these guys.

Bought a used vehicle. Had a good experience; car was in decent condition, was satisfied with my trade-in experience. Before the car came off the lot I noticed the rear wiper didn’t work. I asked that they have it repaired, and they agreed. When it came time to pick up the vehicle and drop off my trade-in, I was told the mechanics didn’t have the time, and I would have to schedule a time to drop it off for this service. I was repeatedly dodged by my sales rep until my period of warranty was over; I still receive sales solicitation a year later despite the fact that we both know that things didn’t end on a good note.
I would think twice before dealing with Bobbie in sales. I called Wed regarding a truck listed on their site. He confirmed the make model and specifically the color my father was searching for and we advised him we lived over an hour away. He wasnt going to be in Thurs so we made an appointment to be there Fri morning with financing approval in hand already. We arrive Fri morning by 930am only for Bobbie to tell us the vehicle was sold.Why would you as a sales person make an appointment for customers asking for a specific vehicle in a specific color (the only 1 you possess) with financing already approved NOT place a hold on the vehicle or inform us that you wouldnt be able too hold the vehicle? Either way its poor salesmanship.....
Purchased 2014 pro master. New. Problems and problems. Now at 76,000 miles the transmission goes. Told to drive by service manager. Conked out in middle of road on way home. Told 7-$8000.00. And tied up weeks. Never again
I just got the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I am in love! My salesman Paul Carlson was absolutely wonderful. He took the time to make the deal exactly how I needed it to be with no hassle. I don’t care what anyone want to say about Nick he’s a great guy a little mistake but everything got fixed, we Were going after a 2012 Dodge Durango there was some mistake in between but in the end we ended up getting a 2015 dodge Durango so everything work out for the best. Ive been a loyal Begnal customer for well over 10 years, dealt with Dean in Used Sales(no longer there), Dave in Finance, Josh in Service, and now, most recently, Kristy in Sales, and have NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED!So my sister in laws 11 Liberty Limited failed on her on their way home 2 weeks ago, due to a faulty lifter. A very expensive repair, and not economical with needing a reliable car for her and the kids. She was set on a Toyota van, so I recommended Prestige Toyota (which I had a good experience 5 years ago when my wife wanted a Toyota SUV, but this time was so horrible for my sister in law that I will never do business with them again!). When that didnt pan out, I decided to take a look at Begnal with her to see if we could find something that would suit her needs. We spoke to Kristy in Sales, who was very cordial, professional, and straight with us. She set us up for a test drive in a few of the in stock vans they had. So after taking a couple test drives, my sister in law fell in love with a beautiful pre-owned Chrysler Pacifica Limited Touring(which my wife now wants one too, thank you Begnal 🤣) . And to top everything off, where Prestige was forcing her into a cosigner, they were able to get her into her dream car without needing anyone else to co-sign, due to her amazing credit! And their turn around to get her in the van since she was without any way of getting her kids back and forth to appointments, stores, etc. was, as always, STELLAR! She still needs to return for some little things that needed to be done, but she is now a VERY HAPPY BEGNAL CUSTOMER FOR LIFE, as I also will continue to be!
Had a nice buying experience. I was in and out in 3 hours with a new wrangler. I had negotiated a soft top and install with the purchase. When I had my soft top installed, the top did not close when I got home. The installation took 3 1/2 hours instead of the 1 hour I was told. I left the dealership about closing time. When I researched how to close it, I realized the install was sub-par and not done thoroughly. I called my salesman, Dan Burns, after hours who hung up the phone on me after I told him my issue (his number was on his business card and told me to call him with any problem). The next day it rained all day and I was ignored repeatedly for servicing the faulty installation. They wanted me to drive back my new car on a rainy day with the top down and diagnose the problem but I insisted they pick the car up themselves. Terrible customer service when you have purchased a new vehicle. I thought I was with a dealership that would be interested in repeat business.

One of the worst dealers around. I got a used $23000 truck and promised service and now the work isnt cover. Very poor customer service.UpdateAbout 2 years later and i still havent get all the work on my truck done. This dealer does not call to give you updates on parts for your car/truck, thinking that that you would forget. I will be contacting my attorney about this matter and the owners will be hearing from him. This place is a joke. I will be going on social media and let people know this isnt a dealer for the community and enlighten people about the crooks at this place.

I have dealt with Begnal for a few years now. During that time were purchased several vehicles. Their salesman Will F. is wonderful always making sure we get the best bang for our buck deal. He is never pushy about a sale and listens to what I need and has gone above and beyond to find exactly what I want.The Service department is great as well. whether its routine maintenance or something more they always get my cars done quickly. Even if I stop by with a concern they take the time to inspect the issue and either fix it on the spot of let me know how soon it can be done and if it is a safety issue or something that is safe to drive till the appointment.I look forward to many more years of doing business with them as they make the car buying and maintaining so easy.

I got a Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership. The car was supposed to transfer plates from my previous vehicle to my new Jeep. Instead they mistakenly did new plates. I requested them to correct this several times and was constantly told they wont, even though I know for a fact that it is something that they can correct if they choose. They just chose not to go through the headache. Now, I dont have my Volunteer Firefighter plates on my new vehicle because this dealership didnt feel they needed to correct this issue. I guess they already made their money so why bother? Poor customer service!

I took my Ram 3500 for service and could not be any happier so far.They replaced 2 parts that were under recall too that i had no idea about, including the problems that i was experiencing!!Joshua (service advisor) was always in touch with me and got my truck in and out within a few days.Only negative part was no Loaner car was given!!

Where is my response from the owner from my review from months ago?I bought a vehicle here 2 months ago. This was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I test drove a Jeep Grand Cherokee and liked it. I later agreed to purchase the vehicle. While examining the vehicle I noticed that the tires looked pretty low on tread. I asked them to put tires on the vehicle before I spent over $28000 on it. They claimed that the vehicles tires had more than enough tread than the legal limit. Well less than a month after getting the vehicle I had to put new tires on it. The salesman, Dan Burns, is the worst salesman I have ever dealt with. You would think after someone hands you $28000 CASH that you would get the best customer service ever. That couldnt be further from the truth. It took them almost 2 months to get my registration and Plates. I am not from NY state. They claimed they have dealt with numerous customers from out of state and that they had it under control. I wanted to transfer my plates from my last vehicle to this vehicle and the first set of plates they got (a month after I purchased the vehicle) were not the same plates I had before but a new set and a registration that wasnt correct. They tried to get me to pay for it and luckily I didnt because I called Motor vehicle who said that it wasnt valid. It then took another 3 weeks for them to get the correct registration and plates. I got pulled over 4 times during this time because of the in-transit plate I had to use. Salesman Dan Burns never returned any of my calls or texts throughout the whole process and treated me like I was bothering him after I handed him $28000. The second I handed over my cash was the second this place stopped caring about me. I also later ran the car fax which I was never given and told they didnt have and found out the vehicle was in an accident previously. They also take the original floor mats out of the vehicles and replace them with cheap and ugly mats with the dealerships logo and name on them. They are the cheapest mats you can get and ugly. They dont even offer to give you the original mats which they probably throw out. Would never recommend someone buy a vehicle here.
Went to the express oil at Bengal on sunday (open til 3pm) they were not busy and took me in quickly! Changed the oil and did a check on belts, filters and tire wear.Was on my way in no time at all

They lied... but the car is fineI bought a 2015 Chrysler 200 from Begnal a little more than a year ago the car runs fine.The experience would have been great until I learned that the salesman lied to me about a couple things. The most egregious of which were the tires. I was told the tires were brand new and that they were just put on so the car could pass inspection.The year goes by and I have to replace the tires after 20,000 miles. I call to ask about the tires they put on and the gentleman at the service department let me know that they had not put tires on.So any potential shoppers be aware. Do not believe them if they say that theyve put new tires on or anything of the sort. They are lying to you.
Miserable purchasing experience. Negotiated with lies and deception. When we involved a different Jeep dealership, then and only then did they make the pretense of negotiating in good faith. All negotiations were carried out by Paul the Sales Manager. The experience was more akin to playing 3 card monty on the streets of New York City.At the time of delivery, the salesman Alex could not have seemed more disinterested in reviewing the vehicle or demonstrating all the features of the vehicle. He clearly had more important issues to attend to than making this transaction a positive experience.We had to call him back to have him demonstrate how to open the hatch to access the gas tank!The only reason we completed this transaction with Begnal was because proximity and a desire to keep business local. Those are foolish reason and wont happen again.If you are in the market for a Jeep, purchase it any where else but here. The likelihood is you will over pay or have to negotiate for over 2 weeks before you get a fair price if you go to Begnal.

I was disappointed with my experience here. Id had an email exchange with a salesperson outlining the type of vehicle I was interested in. When I arrived for our appointment, he didnt remember my name, didnt have a vehicle listing ready. When he searched for a vehicle, he came back with one that didnt meet the parameters. Id been greeted warmly by the finance manager whom I knew, but the rest of the transaction left me a little cold. I ended up purchasing my vehicle at another dealer.
I just got a new set of 4 tires and in my opinoin my jeep was very dirty when I picked it up. The tires had a white paste all over them. When I told them about it they didnt seem to care. I think they should treat thier customers a little better. I am very disappointed.

He never gave us a line, like we had heard from other dealers. They are not pushy either. They give you time to think about the purchase before you buy. He listened and they helped us. My first purchase from this dealer was amazing, I looked at a jeep around 11am and was driving it home by the end of the night, our salesperson was very understanding and helped us get exactly the kind of payments we were looking for, he also understood that since I was just starting out, the car would be going in my fathers name in the beginning then switching to my name, so he knew he had to satisfy us both. In my book he deserves five stars, however the reason I voted three is because my most recent experience. I emailed the dealership three times to purchase a new jeep before I finally got a response, which is fine, I understand computers are crazy sometimes. In my email I explained that I was not looking to rush into this because the jeep I bought from them was still in solid condition, I explained everything I was looking for and sent my email. I waited three days before emailing again on March 9th and got a response of they were waiting to see if anything came in around what I was looking for, which would have been fine if my father didnt drive by their dealership every day and saw three jeeps that met most of my specifications. It felt like since it didnt seem like I was ready to purchase in the next couple days, I was pushed to the side. It is now May 2nd and I still have never gotten an email. I understand people forget who they email since I work in Internet sales myself, but it didnt feel like it was just forgetting me. I am a very loyal customer and once I have a good experience somewhere I return as often as I can, but this didnt sit right with me. I dont want to base my opinion of this whole dealership off of one persons little mistake, but I thought this should be mentioned so it could be fixed for future customers. So ultimately, my first time around deserves five stars, my second time around I wouldnt even vote because I have no real experience to go off of since I was never emailed back. Over the last six years I have purchased six vehicles for personal and business use from Begnal Motors. There sales department has always been great. Their service department is the worst around. The manager told me it is acceptable for a 2017 vehicle with 20,000 miles to loose a quart of oil every 1,000 miles. They will not repair the vehicle. The one time we had it there to check the oil loss, their service department didnt put the oil cap back on, lost 3 quarts of oil on the way home, not to mention the mess under the hood. Shame on you service department, you are also damaging the great sales department, because I will never do another dollars worth of business with you again.
I worked with Frank Gizzi at Begnal to lease a 2017 Wrangler, and I couldnt be more happy with the experience. I spoke with Frank on the phone before going into the dealership, and he was honest and forthright about what I could expect in terms of price, monthly payments, etc.When I went to the dealership, everything he said on the phone remained consistent, and I drove out of the dealership in my new car within a few hours.
