They ran a hard inquiry credit report after telling me over and over that it would only be a soft inquiry. Called today and whoever I spoke to was very condescending and told me “there is no such thing as a soft and hard credit inquiry, it’s all the same” so apparently they are all liars. The salesman I dealt with was Josh Blevins and in order to get me inside to “deal” he told me it would only be a soft pull with no effect on my credit, I even confirmed with him 3 times that this would not be a hard inquiry and yet here I sit today with a hard inquiry from CREDCO. They also add $10,000 to every car price for “economic” reasons that they couldn’t really explain and the salesman was clueless about the car I was test driving, he just sat in the back seat the whole time trying to google answers to my questions. I went across town to friendship Hyundai and found my dream car without the $10,000 markup so avoid this place if you value honesty and your credit score and not getting gouged, honestly don’t know how this place is still in business! I’m attaching a picture of the hard inquiry on my report where it very clearly shows that hard and soft inquiries are in fact a thing and are different.

Welcome to a haven for car salesmen that earn the reputation that particular job has in our society. I went to the dealership Aug 23rd interested in a 2014 Buick Lacrosse with 23,000 miles on it. After less than 3 weeks, the check engine light has come on multiple times and I discovered 3 bent rims through a local certified mechanic shop. The dealership fixed one light and one rim and refuse to fix the other rims even after telling me multiple times any issues would be handled . The owner even tried to have me trade the vehicle back for less money and then sell me another one of his cars. Slimey really doesnt do these gentlemen justice. If you value honor and integrity and a company that treats veterans with the utmost respect, another dealership may be what you are looking for.

LIES & DECEPTIONI purchased my Kia Sedona back in spring of 2020. When I bought it it had 56 miles on it and terribly warped front rotors. No big deal, as the service manager said that they would replace them with new ones.This dealership offered me a complementary first time service in the form of an oil change. I scheduled this first oil change and took it to the dealership. When it was returned to me there was oil all over the interior, and the exterior door handle and around the glass, of my brand new vehicle. When I let Mr. Lawson, the service manager know about this he said dismissively,in reference to his mechanic,” well, he just got back from lunch and is in a hurry.“At 26,000 miles I started having significant vibration so I took the vehicle to a trusted shop where I’ve done business for over 25 years. They told me that the rotors were not replaced by the dealer, but had been machined to the point that they could not be machined again. $500 later I have new rotors, and with the addition of $1000 for new tires to replace the ones that were cupped due to the issue on the front end, things are now fine. By the way, I have these tires rotated every 5000 miles when I have the oil changed.A person can purchase a vehicle anywhere. Unfortunately, and in good conscience, I must say that I cannot recommend this dealership. I have absolutely no reason or desire to ever need to drive onto their lot again.Do you research before you buy. Happy shopping!

Calling to make an appointment for service is always an issue. Usually no answer, but if they do answer its still like pulling teeth. Last time I arrived fir my service appointment it took people to find me in the system. Btw if you call and press on for sales you always get someone. Isnt that funny. I will never by another Kia because because service at the dealership is a joke.

Engine light came on within a week of regular driving and the tire I complained about looking flat that they swore was fine & new blew before I made the first payment… Oh, yeah and the spare/jack they promised to include were nowhere to be found.

A couple days ago I had an oil change but when I got home I found a small oil leak under my car. I returned to the dealer and it was found that the crush washer around the oil plug bolt had distorted on tightening allowing the leak. They repaired it immediately and the service man also noticed one of my tires had a little low air pressure. They removed and repaired the tire (nail) at no charge for my inconvenience. Cody was the service man I talked to and he was an excellent man for the job! Very polite and personable.

My husband and I went here to buy a vehicle. The people were very nice. We ended up buying a Ford Explorer from them. When we test drove the car, it was ridiculously dirty, which was ok because it could be cleaned. There were also all weather mats in the vehicle. After we had bought the vehicle and cleaned it, I came to realize that these mats were missing. On the drive home the passenger side tire’s tire pressure measuring sensor came on we pulled over and checked it and put air in it everything was ok. Then I realized that my unlock button on my key didn’t work, so every time I had to unlock my car the alarm would go off. It gets worse… These were issues that could be fixed. I called them about the mats and Spencer told me that they were gone that they had been thrown out or re-homed. I asked them if they could replace them and he said he would see what he could do. I never heard back on that matter because mere days later the tire that we had been having to fill with air caused a bit of an issue. The low control arm broke and caused me to wreck luckily there was no one hurt and it was just my vehicle that was damaged, however this should have never happened. I had only had the vehicle for five days. So, you can understand my anger when I find out that I now had to pay 6,000$ to get my vehicle fixed. I called again and asked what they could do to help in the situation and was told there wasn’t much they could do. Make sure you look into where you are buying from. I am severely disappointed in this establishment.

Took the car in for a recall involving certain fuses. As usual the ladies in the service check-in are very friendly and accommodating. The job was done in about 1/2 hour not the 1 - 2 hours stated in the initial email. Job well done!

This place asked my brother to get five, 5 star google reviews for them before he even sold a car there or was even a sales person on the floor. As a car salesman myself this is absolutely appalling! Asking recruits to get them fake reviews to make them look good. I told him the place is a joke, don’t work there.

This was by far the shadiest place I have ever dealt with. I was mislead about a new vehicle I was interested in. I worked out most of the stuff beforehand including financing since I told them I loved 90 minutes away with a newborn. I was never told it had 100+ dents from hail damage. The salesman Chris told me when I first got there & I let him know I wish I knew that beforehand so I went and told my wife who was the one who wanted the car. She obviously didn’t want it at that point. Also they said it was already discounted for the damages despite it being priced the same as another model with the same exact build. No mention of the damage online or in any of my texts with the salesman. Called the sales manager to let them know about the shady practice & the fact we drove from far away to buy- he implied I somehow knew about the damages even though none of the texts was it mentioned & even called me back to tell me I spoke with another team member somehow who also told me. Our entire correspondence was through texts & nobody mentioned any damages. The sales manager was as rude as you could be & said it was just here say. Do not ever buy from these shady people.

If you take your car in to be serviced they will break something else and then charge you to fix that. I took my minivan in to fix the door. As soon as I got the car back the battery died. I jumped the car and they tested the battery and found it was holding 0% charge even though I had no issues until I brought it to this dealership. They refused to take responsibility and I had to pay for a new battery. Do not go here if you want your car to work after they’re done.

My husband and I were misled by this dealership. We told them we were an hour and a half away, traveling with a newborn, to get a specific car on their lot. They assured us the car was still there. Then ended up running our credit multiple times and come to find out when we showed up the car had hail damage. We drove all this way just for a brand new car with dents and dings throughout it and we’re never told about it.We called up after to speak with management about how horrible the experience was, but they decided to imply that we were lying. Don’t go here unless you like working with shady people.

They wanted to work a deal before we went for a test drive. Which was no problem as the vehicle was in the showroom and would take effort to get out. When the deal sheet returned, it had an $8,000 dealer markup over MSRP. I told the sales rep to return my keys from where they valued our trade so I could leave. He asked what numbers would make us continue working the deal. We told him we were fine paying full MSRP but not the exorbitant dealer markup. He returned with the sales manager who explained he paid too much for two used models of the same car and he couldn’t reduce the price below the marked up price because it would put it too close to the used models. I had to reach across the desk myself to retrieve my keys so I could leave. I understand inventories are very tight right now but, a 15% dealer markup is unethical. We gladly went 1/4 mile down the street to continue our search.

I must say the buying experience here was a pleasant one, and thats tough to say at any dealership. These guys were not pushy whatsoever and were upfront with all costs. I ended up buying a used vehicle from them and must say after it was all said and done, I wasnt completely stressed out. By the way, I also had two small children in tow which would normally be a recipe for disaster when trying to buy a vehicle, but these guys even interacted well with them. Mike & Spencer worked with getting us into our new ride. They were very helpful, friendly, and not too pushy or trying to shove a car down your throat like most car salesman do(which I really liked because Im a woman that knows what she wants haha😅). We got to test drive our new ride not once but twice before we made our final decision and they even held onto it for almost 3 whole days while the bank got their sh!t together🙄🤷. I had my daughter car fixed and also regular maintenance like oil change. Well got car back and service light came on so I checked all the things that u normally would like the oil and other fluids well by chance I noticed the oil was dark for them to have just changed it. I went back to KIA voice my concerns and Summer who works in the back was awesome and the other lady was also that bothe were very concerned. Well come to find out the mechanic had not changed my oil. I was not happy but they did do everything to fix the issue and like I stated previous Summer do a wonderful job.

I have truly struggled with how to edit this comment appropriately. I bought a 2020 Kia Sorento in November. On the way home I realized the floor mats were not in the vehicle. At that point I called Sydney (my salesman) alerted him and was told I would have new mats within a week. checked back within a week, no mats was told again it would be a week, next week checked again and no mats, was told next week. This carried on for over a month until I called and spoke to someone in parts and was told my floor mats order was NEVER SUBMITTED by Sydney. so when I call back and speak to SYDNEY HIMSELF to ask why he lied to me all this time and never ordered my mats he tells me I dont know why they were never ordered, I will call you back I wait hours for a call back and of course NOTHING so I call back again and speak to Sydney again only to he told AND I QUOTE My sales manager said before he will order your mats (that I paid for and DID NOT RECEIVE with my nearly 40k vehicle purchase) you will need to remove your negative review from our Facebook page At that point I reach out to Chantz (who never got back in touch with me) because negative reviews or not I paid for them in the price of the car...but I was reach out to by Sales Manager Jake and he was terrific, he apologized for the other sales managers behavior and even filled my car up with gas and got my floor mats ordered and they were received by me, however, it does not change the fact that the other sales manager and Sydney showed me exactly how crooked and thieving they can be and for that reason I have taken my business elsewhere, and if you are approached by Sydney or any sales manager other than Jake I recommend you take your business elsewhere as well. Its actually saddening that this was my 3rd and my last vehicle with them because I love building a connection and a loyalty with businesses. Now please know Jake was the best part of my experience with all of this but as I stated previously it doesnt change the fact that I now know how easily they would crook a hard working car buyer and hold ultimatums over our heads for things we rightfully purchased just because they dont like a review.

Had a popping noise in front axle took it there 3 times n replaced 3 diff things that they said was the cause of it but nope so im out $600 already outta pocket even though i have a warranty on the car but it still pops so took it bk for a 4 time cuz they said they for sure know what it is now and now they want another $300 to fix what they should have gotten right the 1st time 🤬🤬

My husband and I went here looking for a family car. Found a Kia suv we really liked, Mike told us we had to pay $1,500 and the car was ours. We paid $1,500 the next day and was told we could not get the car but he promised to get us in something else. After work we stopped by the dealership to find something else, Mike our sales guy would not come speak to us so after standing outside for 20+ minutes one of the managers came to smoke a cigarette and ask if we were still waiting for Mike. We said yes and he tells us he will be taking care of the deal now and he didn’t not have anything on his lot for us right now. But gave us his number and to call back in a week. We called back and Jake (the manger) had us a deal going and was getting to work on it that day. We still have not heard anything from him and that was last week. Definitely do NOT recommend this dealership.

Kia sold both my sisters a KIA in 2020 SUV to 1 sister & a New Kia to my other sister went to the KIA in Bristol same SONG & DANCE Routine for 1 set amount. both sisters had trade in & cash down payment . Dealerships sep payments & sent them home in a new KIA w Monthly Payment, And 2 months later Both car lots calls both sisters back after they had her new kia for 2 months & tells Them ( we have to change the payment the bank rejected the deal which is B.S. ) They do it all the time sister with SUV payment was raised to almost $700.00 a month, Sister with 2020 car bought in Bristol her payment went up $120.00 more on the Month, Dont shop with KIA ( have your bank approve the loan not KIA )

Zero stars wasn’t an option, I didn’t know what to expect this being my first vehicle but Chantz Scott Kia has been the worst experience I’ve had they seem to have a lot of good reviews and know how to sale vehicles that’s for sure but the vehicle they sold me was what they call a lemon, it worked for about 2 years and it tore up I have extended warranty but paid for it to get fix the first time $1700, now it’s tore up again and I wanted to see if warranty solutions would help! well now my vehicle is being held because the inspector determined the rod knocking is reason to believe there’s a oil leak so the claim was denied and we owe them $200 for that AND after I get my vehicle back it’ll be my problem to fix!

Totally poor service, van had a oil sending unit replaced, after we noticed a noise in the front that sounded like a rubbing noise or suspension. They did a test drive and the service tech heard it but said he couldn’t find anything and to bring it back if it got worse. We did then the service manager and tech said it was a rear seatbelt that was vibrating even though it was coming from the front. They said they couldn’t hear it. Brought it to Grindstaff Kia within 30 minutes the problem was found and repaired, Chantz Scott Kia had turned a air control canister against the firewall and brake unit when replacing the oil sending unit. Grindstaff placed it back where it should be and noise was gone. We loved Grindstaff so much we have purchased 2 new vehicles from there in 6 months. Service is part of a dealership rating and they were not very professional and rude to us.

I told them what I wanted my monthly payment to be and they found me the financing to make it happen. Their service department is great as well. Great buying experience and fantastic staff, particularly our salesman Jeremy Cooper. Our needs was the priority and we did not feel pressured or scammed in any way. Jeremy made sure that we received a great value with our trade in and our purchase. I truly appreciate the entire staff (salesmen, finance, business manager, shop and detailing crew). This is not the fanciest dealership in the area, but because of this, you will receive extraordinary customer service and killer deals. Nice people but now I have 5 hard inquiries on my credit report. So does my mom. They don’t even get close to telling you about that. I was told credit check... not multiple. I want them removed.
