While evacuating Palm Beach County for hurricane Dorian, I got a nail stuck in my tire. Thrilled to see that there was still a reliable Sears location here in Key West. Same amazing service I used to get on the mainland was provided by the terrific employees at this location. Not only did they quickly fix my tire, I got an oil change and tire rotation in about an hour. I didnt even have to ask for coupons as they found them for me. Amazing service at a fabulous price. What a relief. Keep up the great work.
My husband and I were visiting Key West from Orlando and our car unexpectedly stopped working. Paul and the crew at Sears Auto Center was soooo helpful and kind. They worked diligently to find the issue. Unfortunately, our engine was blown and they were not able to fix it. However, Paul found us a place that could and assisted us with filing a claim with our warranty. They were so kind, prompt, thorough and friendly that they made a very stressful situation a lot easier. It was a blessing that the tow truck bought our car here!
I always use Sears for my automobile work. This particular day I went into the auto center to get my car diagnosed after it wouldnt start. The store assistant manager, Paul, told me he would try to get me fixed even though they were very busy. They worked on the car till closing time. Unfortunately, a part had to be ordered so they couldnt finish.Instead of leaving me to fend for myself, the service manager at the counter, Jorge, drove me all the way home 17 miles in his own car. Then he had to drive back because he didnt even live near me.These people all went beyond the call of duty and should be recognized for their exceptional customer service and dedication to the company. I highly recommend Sears Auto Center in Key West for any automotive needs. They have never let me down. This type of personal care is rare these days and these employees truly are a great asset to Sears.
I want to thank Assistant Manager Paul Smith for his professional service. He is like a breath of fresh air compared to how weve been treated at Sears in the past. FINALLY you have found an employee who seems to really care about the customers. Sears cant afford to let him go....If I was his boss, I would give him a raise!!! THANK YOU PAUL! Got oil change yesterday......thank you, Dennis Aleff
These guys were great! Picked up a nail in my tire and was sort of in a jam. They worked clean and fast. I will be doing more business with them in the future.
Im giving 4 stars only because of the professionalism of the mechanic. He was helpful and kind. The women at the front were also kind.
The guys that helped me get my tires on were great. I missed my appointment the day before and became a walk in they took care of quickly. Two new tires on in less than an hour. I was greatful since I had to be back before my own lunch break was over. I’m happy I chose them.
Please do yourself a favor and never visit this place for any reason. I ordered new tires from Amazon and confirmed appointment made by tire center. I dropped vehicle off 3 hours early and called 7 hours later to be told no my truck wasnt ready and wouldnt be I informed that I would be there to get my truck and new tires (Amazon not at fault here) I show up two clerks at counter stated why I was there and they misplaced my keys (Toyota) she tried giving me another set of keys to a different car. Then a scavenger hunt began to find mine. After they were found I was informed that my tires had been mounted I looked at the other clerk and asked why she told me otherwise and was offered a lame excuse apparently texting whomever was more important than a follow up with a customer.Really dont visit this place
Took a rental car here as the Enterprise down the street told me they would be happy to top off the coolant on my car and get me going quickly once I told them it was a rental car. I was given the run around, the mechanic told me to park out of the way as I was blocking him. Did not help at all.The person at the front desk had zero authority and told me I would have to wait for the boss. The boss came out and told me, there was nothing he could do and sent me on my way. Waited here for 30 minutes to no avail/help.Only 2 stars are because the manager/owners was really good to talk to and took the effort of explaining why he could not help.
What a bunch of hard working, conscientious people! Jorge at the counter took everyone’s needs and concerns graciously, carefully and one at a time without hurrying any customer. His group of workers are diligent and dedicated to getting the job done efficiently, accurately and thoroughly. I don’t often find this kind of eagerness in auto and tire places. Most counter people I’ve encountered chat amongst themselves and only look at you when they are ready. Most mechanics won’t talk to you and think you’re an idiot. These employees are commendable and I’m puzzled by some reviewers’ comments. Maybe they think they are the only ones with car problems? That their concerns are the only concerns in the room? Instead of trashing these people, think about how difficult their jobs are and how you might react to all this pressure. Give these people raises!
When Ive been ABLE to get in to this place, Ive had good experiences. The reps at the register are helpful, but it is chaotic and they often misplace things (like your keys). The problem is, the online appointment maker doesnt work, and no one EVER answers the phone. E.V.E.R.
Dropped off my truck at 8:15 AM. I was told it would be about 2-3 hours. 6 hours later, my truck still wasnt ready. Then, when I hopped it, the low tire pressure sensor was on. I looked and there was a bolt in the tread of my tire. When I complained about it, the man behind the counter said it was probably there when I dropped of the vehicle. It was not. And they refused to do anything about it.Definitely the LAST time Ill take a vehicle to Sears Auto Center.
They charged a high rate for an oil change. Then they over tightened the oil pan drain plug when they finished my oil change. I had to go to another mechanic shop to have them break the bolt off and replace it. Sears is not a good mechanic shop. Beware.
I was vacationing in Key West and discovered a serious flat tire on my Jag on a Friday before a holiday weekend just as I was ready to leave to drive several hundred miles home. Unfortunately, neither Sears nor any auto repair facility in KW had a new replacement tire in stock, so replacements had to be ordered and would not be delivered for several days. I had to leave the car and return home via rental car. The asst manager, Paul, assured me he would take good care of our car and provided me with his mobile phone number with instructions to call or text at any time to check in. Tires were delivered and installed early the following week, but transport of my car home took a few extra days to complete. During the entire time Paul and his colleague, George, kept me advised of status and continued to assure me that they were keeping my car inside the garage at night and things were fine. My car was finally delivered home a week after my incident, and it looks and runs great. Thanks very much guys!
I took my car to them twice, for the first time they ordered the wrong piece to the car and it stayed there for 2 weeks. They had a good manager that time he rented a car for me, reduced the price and excused for that. I took back again a month ago they had to change few pieces we agreed to pay $300 for gasket and thermostat, I asked for oil change $50 and tire rotation they charged me $487. I asked them why took so much, the girl in the reception said that the oil change was $90 because my car took so much oil. God knows, no prove, I had a oil change just 2000 miles before that, I did again to be sure and be safe during the road trip. That is still could be $390. It means to check the tire rotation was almost a $100. The worst thing is came after that... My car runs very well, except while using the AC the water overheats. Next day after 5 min driving my car gave me a red light, that never happened before I went back immediately to the Sears. A guy George told me just ignore it because the car has not enough air in the tires. I just paid almost 500 a day before and 100 for checking the tire rotation( while the a full size road trip package is less than a 100) . He put air in the tires the red light was still on, he advised me to ignore it.(?) I dont really wanna ignore it I said, that moment the steam came out from the front. When we opened I saw that they gave me back the car with a glove (the same it used in hospitals) on the top of the water bottle (attached photo) I talked with the blond guy he promised me to fix their errors, he said the guy who fixed my car had not enough knowledge and he put the wrong gasket, he lost the top of the bottle. They told me to give back the car in two days. Today is one month that my car is standing there. They didnt want I talk to the manager, I asked for him three times. I had to leave my car behind because I moved to another state. So I paid $500 to let my car broken and no one cares there. I reported them to the customer service they took over the case. My friend went to them twice, they said the piece didnt arrive from Germany, the manager is never been there. People with head and no brain work there, please go and chose another job. You can find job where you make yourself useful, cleaning the streets or any non-profit organization. They have no clue how much money Im losing every single day. I have to rent a car no one is paying for that. I was waiting in the line more than one hour, only three persons were before me. The two girls in the reception, came in and out. I heard a guy complaining about them he said his car is there since a week they promised him to give back in one day. Why this place is still open?
Terrible long wait. I have been going here for years. Lately it is even more awful. I switched to the shop at Southernmost Shell and after I come to pick up my car, the mechanic asks me who has been servicing my car. I tell him Sears Auto has been doing it. The guy tells me they left my coolant and brake fluid completely empty. The guy refilled both for free because he felt bad. I only paid for oil change. Then on top of all this, I went to Sears Auto the very same day before I went to shell. After waiting in line they told me they couldnt help me without an appointment. It was 10 AM. Thanks a lot Sears Auto, have fun, enjoy my 1 star review and real experiences. Im going to Shell for an oil change from now on.
Took all day to get a tire. Called day before left vehicle there. Work 1 block away. Took til 30 minutes before closing to fux. Was off 1 hr after opening and checking status. Ok is a grateful i got to go home.
Thank you for fixing up my car.. in a short time.. even though yall were extremely swamped with vehicles to work on..The receptionist is a little rude but since I have a sense of humor I let it roll off my back so to speak. You never know what people are going through internally, and spiritually. The guys took care of my car in a couple of hours. I waited for it. Im glad everything is back to normal in my life.
I was afraid to give this place a try after reading the reviews...but Im so glad I did! The guys there were SUPER knowledgeable and actually didnt charge me near what I had been quoted at other places! Mike, Mark and Josh were the guys who helped me out. I asked their names so that I could drop off cookies later...I was just so thrilled! Havent had service like this from an auto shop...probably ever! I will be back and recommending their service center to friends.
Well it was definitely lug nut day at Sears Auto or more appropriately Battery Day. I purchased a Marine deep well battery for my boat. Three weeks later it took a swim in salt water and shorted it out. I never thought it would be covered by the warranty but asked anyway. Much to my surprise, since it was a Marine battery it was covered for Marine conditions. The service folks were awesome and a real asset to Sears. They tested the battery, pronounced it DOA and gave me a new one. I wouldnt think of buying a battery anywhere else. Great job guys!
I’ve never been somewhere with such bad customer service. The lady behind the desk has been on the phone trying to get her nails done. Our car sat in the bay for 2 hours because “nobody knew why it was there”. Instead of calling to ask they just left it until my husband asked if it was going to be done soon. It’s unfortunate there isn’t anything better on the island.
STAY AWAY!!! I just recently had service done on my vehicle after my power steering / alternator / water pump belt broke. After several hours, I was told that a new belt would be $155.00 plus labor to complete the job. When I inquired why the price for the belt was so high, since the going rate was around $ 60.00, I was told that that was the price Sears charges. I was not allowed to purchase the belt myself and drop it off. They only use parts provided from their supplier. After several minutes of discussion as to why they mark the price up over %100, I was told well, do you want it done? Basically a take it, or leave it attitude. The sales associates had no professionalism, or customer service skills what so ever. After paying over $ 220.00, I was then welcomed with a dead battery, as they obviously never even checked the condition of the battery before closing the job. What a piss poor experience. Another life lesson learned!!
I stopped in because my hood was stuck. Two customer service reps, one with a frough n one named James was very quick n attentive to help for free. I tipped them. Go here for your service. Do not look at the negative reviews. This place is great !!
Absolutely the worst service ever. Brought my truck in for 4 new tires, oil change and break light out. No one called me for 3 days to say it was done. ( it just sat out in the parking lot). I want in to ask if it was finished on day 3 to be told yes.......no one called you ? I payed my bill to find that I have all sorts of tire pressure faults and now no break lights working at all. Just avoid this place at all costs.
This place sucks!! I wasn’t able to get an oil change two hours before they closed. I thought there was plenty of time but the guy at the fronts explains that they are busy and only have two people working. Of course they won’t get nothing done if they are both in a corner sitting gossiping, I wish I would of taken aPicture. We have to support local business, I recommend that you get your oil changed at a local shop instead of sears!!
Needed a plug in my tire for a slow leak. They are one of only 2 businesses that do this in Key West. They told me it would be a 2-3 hour wait. I can plug my own tire in less than 10 minutes. I ended up doing just that. You should have someone on ready doing quick fixes such as that in my opinion. Your loss.
The manager, Don, was very helpful. When I called the store to set up an appointment. he looked up my record and made sure that he had the tire I needed in stock. Because it was later in the day, I could not make an appointment, but he assured me that they could fit me in within the hour.He was friendly and professional, and the service was completed in the time quoted.
I have waited for a tire almost a week now, after having been told it will be here tomorrow each day. Today will be my 4th visit for this tire. The service desk is chaotic and customer service is nonexistent. Truly trying to help, the young lady suggested I order the tire on Amazon and have it delivered to my house and then bring it in for mounting. I don’t know what to think now. Well, today is my lucky day, the tire is here just waiting for the tire machine to be free. I learned that they are associated with Amazon so her suggesting that isn’t totally crazy. Customer area and show room are trashed and dirty. Floor looks like never cleaned before ever.
I would like to give a big shout-out to the manager that work Sunday March 3rd afternoon for the help that he has given us if it werent for him we would have been stranded thank you thank you thank you very much for your kindness and your help you went above and beyond much appreciated
On today Thursday Sept 12th at 11:25 a.m. I called the auto center and a lady answered the pnone.I asked for pricing to do wheel alignment. She said $99.I asked is that 2 or 4 wheel alignment, and she said 4 wheel. I asked do all vehicles require 4 wheel alignment and she said yes that is how we balance the vehicle out. I said ok. I asked if there were any specials that would reduce the price and she said I could go online. I then asked if I can make an appointment to which she replied that the computers are down. I asked her if she could take my name and phone number and call me to make an appointment when the computers are up again. Her reply was WHAT THE HELL! I TOLD YOU THE COMPUTERS WERE DOWN AND I CANT MAKE YOU AN APPOINTMENT.I said why would you talk to me like that. I asked if you can call me when the computers are working. What is your name and she told me I DONT HAVE TO PIT UP WITH YOUR ATTITUDE She HUNG UP THE PHONE on me.
Horrible customer service. Waited 2 hours for a brake inspection. Not needed already knew needed brake pads. They never moved my car. I had an appointment and was first in line. Still didnt look. Long bearded mechanic came out and told me it would still be awhile. I asked how long and he had no idea. I told him to forget about it and he threw my keys at me. I asked for a manager and she was indifferent. The mechanic proceeded to yell at me that they were short staffed in a threatening manner. Not my fault. Hire people. Manager witnessed this as he stormed to service bay. She gave a very insencere apology. Highly recommend you go elsewhere.
Paul Smith The assistant auto center manager helped me and my brother old tremendously he went above and beyond he did more than any other auto place that I’ve been to recently just to make sure that my vehicle was taken care of we appreciate him and his employees more than we can say
The person I have the counter lied to my face twice about when and how my car would be fixed. Then the manager gave me some old bit about how they actually did fix it and they actually charged me for something that wasnt broken. I told them and will tell all of you I would never take my car to them for anything! The only reason I went to them was because I am a local and they were the closest shop to fix my brakes. So I couldnt go any further safelyI would rather pay the extra charge to have my vehicle towed then to use their services again!
Overall very happy with experience and many thanks to Paul for being extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks guys!!
I had a flat tire and went to Sears. It was yesterday, July 7th, at noon. They called me in 1 hour and said the tire should be replaced, I said ok. But when they finished they never called me back so I got my car only next morning. No one apologized, they didnt give me any discount, and they took $150 for 1 tire. Dont use their service unless you have choice
DO NOT GO HERE! THEY LOST MY CAR KEYS!I took my car to sears to get my flat fixed. They said it should take only a couple hours. 4 days go by and no one called me to tell me my car was ready. After 2 days of waiting, I called 15 TIMES to follow up and no one answers the phone. They let it ring until it gets disconnected (Ive actually been in the office and watch them ignore all their calls). After work on Friday, I finally am able to go into the store to see if my car is ready. It was ready days ago, but they said they didnt call me because they have a lot going on.A week goes by, turns out, MY TIRE IS STILL HAS A HOLE... THEY DIDNT FIX IT! I went back to the store to get a refund and the woman said she was so sorry and she would fix it at no additional charge and it will only take 2 hours but they would call me when it was ready. Again, I never received a call, so after two day, I go to try to pick up my car. Not only is my car still not fixed, but THEY LOST MY CAR KEYS.The most poorly run business in Key West. DO NOT GO HERE!
Had an appointment scheduled for an oil change at 3 pm. 2 hours and 20 mins later they are just now starting it. Time and consideration are not of the essence so neither is my future business. Hopefully the performance by them is better than the timelines.
Worst most unprofessional place Ive ever been to. I showed up at opening asking for an oil change and they told me it would be hours. They told me I should of had an appointment. I made an appointment for later that week at 9 but when I walked in they said it would be an hour. I came back an hour and 20 minutes later and the car had not been pulled out of its parking spot. When I asked how long will it be they said a minimum 30 minutes before they can pull it in so probably at least an hour more. I have no waiting room and there is no seating. Horrible place. Worst ever.
They are quick and always great costumer service always happy with them
OK, oil change and replace valve stem $76.09 are you kidding me?????This is just wrong! Sears you should be ashamed. To change the valve stem they list on the bill;flat repair (tire was not flat) 19.00, OK i would pay that, but then they added shop fee 3.50,valve kit 5.99,install kit 3.00.So what did the 19.00 cover? Now onto the oil change.... this is a standard v 8 engine there board says $29.00 to do a full service oil change you would think that you would pay $29.00 for an oil change to an american made car... but not so. the bill for the oil change was $ 39.29.Sears next time pull my hair a little, maybe bite the back of my neck....
Poor service dishonest and generally out to destroy your Vehicle so they can make more money.
Horrible service. Dont go here. They rotated my tires and didnt inflate them afterward. They didnt even bother to check my tire pressure. I had a tire blowout in key largo. I didnt even make it off the keys. Unbelievable! Youd think with a tire rotation they would check your tire pressure. I guess not. They also lied about how long it would take to get the service done. The guy told me an hour. It took 3.5 hours to be exact.
Attention: John Bowler Corporate Manager Your Good Employees Need You!!! Are You On Vacation or Just Unaware of The Decline In ServiceThis Terrible decline in Service has just recently happened....Im a 22 year resident always use Sears.....All the shelves have been rearranged and most taken out.....There are customers looking for someone to help them at the desk and there is no one.....Your best customer service guy always on the ball and friendly (he is the black man in the photo) is now covered in grease in the back.....the new young man is also in the back trying to help the mechanics and trying to get from the back to the front desk....Your front desk is looking as barren as your shelves.....and not just for a few minutes......As you can see in the 4th photo my guys had to put in a new battery....after what was supposed to be a 45 minute wait....turned into almost 2 hrs......when I asked what the problem was and demanded the name of the manager I was told ......(You or someone in upper management was requesting to send mechanics home) to cut costsYou certainly have and now this looks like a three ring circus....If your superiors have hired you to help them go under you are doing a great job...but as a manager (because thats what a manager does ) at least jump in there and make a good showing to the customers who pay well for your services....Very Disappointed for the first time in over 20 years if your going under do it with grace.....No management was apparent here.....your skeleton staff of what where exceptional employees are carrying what is left of your auto service departmentapparently without you.
DANGER! DANGER! DANGER!Took my 2000 VW Beetle in to Sears Automotive in Key West, FL to have the battery checked on 6.8.12. I had forgotten to turn the headlights off when I got home in a driving rain and it drained the battery . (My headlights do not automatically turn off and I usually park in the driveway where I can see them reflected on the garage door, but my husband’s truck was there so I parked by the sidewalk in front of the house. So I didn’t notice they were still on)Sears said theyd check the battery and alternator for $19.99 to see if it needed anything done. I called about 1.5 hours later and they said Theres nothing wrong with your battery. We charged it for 48 minutes and it now holds a charge fine. My husband and I go to pick it up after our grocery shopping. They said they were about done with it, so he left because we had perishables in the truck. As soon as he left, they told me, “The wrong battery is in the car and the battery I have in it was ‘hooked up backwards’”. Seriously????? THEN they tell me, “The alternator is bad which we couldn’t tell until the battery was completely charged.” I said, “There is nothing wrong with the alternator and I have driven this car for 2 years now with no problems until the battery ran down so how could it possibly be hooked up backwards?”DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICING. They take forever, then they try to take advantage of a female.I live 9 miles from Key West. I get in the car to drive home and I notice all these lights on the console coming on that didn’t come on before. One is a round arrow around a triangle with an exclamation point in the middle. The other is – surprise – a red battery light, and the third is theABS (anti-locking brake system) light. NONE of these came on before they messed with it.ALSO, now my brand new stereo system, which I just had installed three weeks ago won’t play and my air conditioner which blew ice cold air before, now blows hot air.How could they totally screw up my entire car in an hour and a half while trying to charge a battery and put it back in????This is a small island and I am sure Sears thinks they have the “corner on the market” for repairs. They do not. There are some good, independent automotive service people on this island who take pride in their work. We went to Sears because we thought it would be quick and how could they screw up such a simple thing. We were SO WRONG.
This is the SECOND time I’ve made an appointment and am still waiting 3&1/2 hours later. Did I mention that the appointment is for a RE-Alignment that the Key West mechanics screwed up to begin with? Too short staffed and bc I’m under warranty I guess they don’t consider my auto needs important. I’m sick of wasting days of time waiting around like this. It’s beyond frustrating and ridiculous! Fix it! Please!!!
These guys stayed late, over an hour just to finish the job. Went above and beyond and modified some parts to make my new rims fit, great guys and great shop!
Had an appointment for an oil change. Waited over an hour and 1/2 until the car was even driven into the garage. First time here and its the last.
Came in to get a singular tire change 2 hours before closing and they turned me down without a legitimate reason.
Well, have to say, one bad experience. Waited for 20 minutes and was ignored for same amount of time. The woman running the register had a T-Shirt on with the saying If You Dont Like My Attitude...Call 1-800-EAT SHIT.....Finally left and went to Niles Chevrolet down the road and got awesome service. Sure isnt the Sears service that I remember.
Very good service, the best costumers attention,i recommends this place for everyone
Paul was amazing-great five star service give this man a raise!
Service is sub-par at best. A single new tire install took an hour to even begin and fifty additional minutes to finish.I was wrongly quoted a lower price for a set of tires and was waiting for almost two hours for a tire install. It should have taken an hour at most, such is how long I was told it would take. Find a local shop next time.
Worst place ever. Took the car in to find out why our check engine light kept coming on and they said they would find out. They had the car for half a day and when we went back they couldnt even tell us what the issue was and still charged us $100. I asked why so much if they didnt do anything and they said because they had to utilize stuff to figure out what was wrong... but they couldnt even tell us what was wrong. Terrible service and a HUGE waste of money. Oilys on stock island is a million times better and much nicer.
Buyer beware! Went to have my tire repaired and was told I needed a new one (BMW run flat tire/also a female) found out easy repair no problem. Go somewhere else where they arent trying to rob you!
Came on for an alignment told I need a rack and opinion first before they could do the alignment, how much? Est was 560.00$ they started it was told due to the age of the car 1992 the bolts were breaking off more hours $ I thought there goes all my money!! Still here waiting but the counter man Mr Smutty said he will work with me, I hope so ill continue the story after I get the bill.
The f#€ktard kid working the counter watched me bring my purchase up to pay, ignored me. While Im standing there his friend walks in. Dipsh!t greets him in Spanish by his name and then helps this old dude. Totally ignores me. I go to take my purchase to the other sears to pay then he finally checks me out. Says I had a customer bro. He assumed I didnt understand Spanish. This kid is going places like to mcdonalds next.
First time getting serviced here. The front desk males were friendly...but when I get my vehicle back, my driver side mirror cover is scratched and dirty. There is now another dent in the rear side of my vehicle. On top of that my brakes are still shaky. Im not going to them again. They caused damage to my vehicle.
Avoid this place no matter what! It’s absurd! Just so terrible!
Worst experience ever!! youll be just wait and wait and wait and loosing time ! I had appointment at 11am for alignment come back at 3pm and the car was on the same spot nobody did nothing.I lost all my day and nothing was done.Dont go there waste of time!!!
Lost my tires Asst. Manager is a joke sears used to be a good company
They Broke my brake lines and refuse to repair them. Worst auto experience ever. Nothing resolved. The store manager kevin has no idea what hes doing. Sears corporate is deaf. Stay away. Go local to banner.
Got a flat tire while visiting Key West on Sunday. Though aware of the bad reviews on google, but thought how bad it can be to repair a tire, and its only place open nearby anyway. Wrong, things can be much worse than bad. First of all, they told me the tire is not fixable and need a new tire. That is OK. Then told me that the TPMS sensor needs to be replaced and reprogrammed, $120. I figured it is OK for that too, had 4 kids with me, need to safely drive back home in 200 miles . 3 hours and $270 later, we pick up the vehicle, the TPMS lights are still on after starting. The guy told me not to worry, the lights will be off and reset itself after running for a while. 3 days later, the TPMS lights are still on, took to the local dealer and was asked to pay another $120 to exam - sure, thats dealer, right? then was advised the sensor newly installed is not working at all and needs to be replaced, $240 to fix. I refuse to believe that the new sensor is not working. So I took to another local shop to check it out. Per my request, the Mechanic took the sensor out in front of me - the sensor looks to us like having been used for a very long time, and it is not responding AT ALL to the computer/equipment. It sure looks like the Sears Auto at Key West never install the new sensor. They probably figured that as a tourist, it will be too late even if I find out later - they are dead right about this. I dont have time, neither do I feel like to drive 200 miles back to these looters in Key West. So I paid another $120 to replace the new sensor with another new sensor in the local shop. The total cost of the sensor for me after all - $360. Thats my story with Sears Auto Key West, folks, worst car repair experience in my life. Thanks for reading.
Customer service is non-existent...you are just a walking dollar symbol. Asked them to fix a leak. They said they couldnt find a leak and claimed to have reinforced my tire to prevent leak if there was one. One week later, my tire is still leaking and Im down $50. Dont go here.
Everething was ok except that bold man with beard behind the counter he should seriously think about his attitude. He was very arrogant to us.We felt like were bothering him for no reason ...
I have gone there once, like three years ago and the service was terrible. I thought i give a try one more time 2 weeks ago. Now I am having a problem with my car. Do not want to accuse of anybody of anything, but the problem is oil related and this shop is serviced oil change. You do the math.
If there were negative stars, theyd deserve that! Took my 09 Jaguar XF for coolant flush & fill. 100 mi RT; 1/5 way home, got COOLANT LOW warning! Inspected next day & recovery tank damaged, looked like fresh cut where hose on top returns to engine.Management skeptical & insisted I return for inspection but undriveable with coolant squirting out where damaged! Also complained coolant wasnt Jag specified (orange) WSS M97B44, but green all-purpose bulk. If THAT was Jag approved I think theyd indicate so.Got replacement parts & ramp to repair & redo myself! Upon draining realized coolant mostly ORANGE which is PROOF system never FLUSHED, only filled to capacity with fresh GREEN!!!!Now I have proof of damage (tank nozzle BROKEN inside of hose showing negligence in damaging it (Its a clean break which could be construed as a cut but rest was inside hose. Its NOT breakage from wear & tear!I advise if you care about your car or truck AVOID SEARS AT ALL COSTS! Now Im out over a hundred dollars in replacement parts and considering a Polica complaint for outright FRAUD!!I have the parts and fluids to document everything I state here!
The worst Auto Center in Key West, or the worst Auto center in Florida, the people who work there r are so frustrated people who don’t leave there problems at home, and I will say that I will never set my foot in that place again, Shame on You .
Drop off car at 9am for an 11am appointment to have 4 tires installed. Asked for a courtesy call when finished. Did not receive a call, car was not completed the same day and they never answer their phone to speak with someone. Worst managed Sears Auto I’ve ever dealt with, avoid at all possible!
Worse please I ever been to do oil change for my car . I was the first customer but still its take 4 hours to do the oil change...
Nun but real ones that work there shouts out to kevin and shada rekaz they make that place
Dollar left us stranded without a spare tyre (their repair kit wouldnt fix the gash in tyre) and Kevin helped us out of a jam by putting a new tyre on when others were waiting and they were about to close.
Dont waste your time nor money here! These ppl suck and should be fired. A bunch of lying LAZY bastards!!!
Mechanics may be ok but the customer service is terrible. Rude is an understatement!
Dishonest people. You will wait and wait and wait, just to find out you are being scammed, cheated, and grossly overpriced. Do not go here unless you are in a true emergency.
Wonderful customer service at the reception, recommended for satisfaction
Poor customer service and limited capabilities.
Horrible service, wasted an entire day of my vacation waiting on them to fix a damn tire. If I hadnt gone outside to check on the progress they would be still talking to each other rather than do their damn job. Avoid this place at all cost if you possibly can.
Quoted 2 hr wait to repair a tire although there wasnt much happening in the bays. Came back in 2 hours and was told another 2-3 hours because they were backed up. My observation was mostly standing around talking in the work area. Changed the tire myself and another place had me in and out in 15 minutes.
Service was slow, the facility was dirty and unorganized, the place really needs to get more workers for the amount of customers that come in.
Trustworthy Service!
Last oil change they put in 6 quarts, my truck holds 5. This time they barely installed the oil filler cap, cross threaded. Oil leaked out of valve cover all over spark plug and header. Im done with this Sears Auto Center.
Worst costumer service i have ever seen, i will be driving to Miami to get new tires, this place is one of the reasons i hate living in Key West....
Had an appointment to change the oil in my truck at 1:00. Told at 2 it was next up. At 3:00 my truck hadnt moved. Got my key, ripped up my ticket and left.
Never answer their phone!!! Ever!
Terrible experience.
Staff was rude.
Slowest Auto service in Key West
We were sent by Alamo because our cigarette lighter did not provide power for the GPS. The boys have looked at it without an appointment, recognized the problem, replaced the fuse and asked for nothing. But at home I have to drive far, so that I get such a service.Excellent! Keep it up! Full 5 stars!
I left my car at 7.30 in the morning to put 4 new tires and they would align the address I arrived at 5 in the afternoon and two tires were missing to put and they had not made the alignment I ask myself 9 hours to do this work I would take the car without lousy aligning that workshop my car never returns to that workshop
Bad atencion costumers service, not recomed people caunters.
I like this workshop.
