I am a local! Always gone to this store! There have been so many different managers, employees etc... I had an encounter on the 6th of July 2021, the day before bad storm!! An employee sent me away without helping me replace the totally dead battery on my vehicle which left me with NO vehicle!! The GM Jaycalled me immediately He was not aware of situation...He told me to come in today and his asst Matt would make sure that I was taken care of!! They were both so upset and Matt was so nice and helpful and saw to it that I had a battery, no problems,no red tape!! He fixed the problem without being rude!!! Thats customer service! Thank you

Online there website indicates they close at 9pm and it’s been updated recently.. so I drove up expecting them to be open before 9pm but a few minutes past 8pm and they were closed with there hours of operation closing at 8pm. They should show some respect for there customers and update there website with the correct hours of operation and not waste people’s time.
Shop here often for my auto needs. Good pricing and selection.

I tried ordering a part online said call the store to see in stock. They said I must come down and put a deposit on it and can’t be paid over the phone and I have an account. Went to store and now telling I must purchase the part. On top of that I’m purchasing an ignition cylinder so I couldn’t drive and got stuck in the rain. Thanks for making this a true Monday

Now that Sears is closed, tried Advance for a new battery. Walked in, Matt immediately asked what I needed, he looked up what battery I needed, and installed it in 10 minutes. Great service!

Getting in and out of the parking lot is not very convenient. Its not easy to tell until youre driving in the exit. The store is ok. Nobody offered any help but I ended up figuring out what I needed was out of stock. The stock on the shelves in general was pretty slim for a lot of items maybe its covid related. Im giving it 4 stars because Im giving them a little credit for covid.
No one knows anything about cars here. Good luck if you need to talk to an employee, they are clueless.

These guys are the best. Mr James saved my bacon. Sold me the oil I needed for my Harley and loaned me the tools to change it right then and there. All in all saved 120 dollars over bringing it to Harley Davidson. This place gets 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really want a half star here, I think these people are worth 4.5. They are always friendly and seemingly busy all the time too. They normally have what you need and will help you to quickly locate it. Very clean store as well.

I bought a scooter battery at the Key West store. The battery was dead, absolutely no power. I bought a new battery from another store and went to return the dead battery. The store manager told me they probably sold me a used battery (core). They would not refund my money. Said they would give me a new battery. I already bought a new battery.I have been shopping there for three years.Very poor customer service. If i could give a zero rating i would. I will not go back. They lost a good cistomer.
All the employees at our Advance Auto Parts store bend over backwards to help their customers. Everything from directing them where to find products to helping install batteries and windshield wiper blades!
Kinda forced to shop here because there isnt much on the island. This place is mediocre no matter where you are.
Best prices in town for automotive parts and staff will help you install small things like windshield wipers and such

Now before I wouldn’t step foot in this place. With how it was ran but with the new management in play I seen a change. I now currently work here and have been reading the comments from the past few months and it’s a different environment. Give the chance to allow us to change all your opinions

Not a bad auto parts store if you dont mind waiting in line for 15 minutes while the employees field phone calls or are just not present in the front of the store at all. Service is comparable to the post office.
Always friendly and helpful. Staff are quick to answer questions, look up part numbers AND help you locate it on the shelves.

Worst customer service. Staying in line for ever because only one or 2 people working can actually speak english.Most of the times only one register opened.I buy from here just for emergencies otherwise online is the better option
Absolutely terrible service. Worst customer service ever. Brought a battery in that was seven months old told the gentleman I took a taxi to bring it in and exchange it. He said call back in one hour and Ill tell you whats up. Call back asked me to take a cab and once more to give him the receipt that I presented when I dropped off the battery. They do not have the battery in stock and have been asked to take another cab in the morning to pick up the battery! The gentleman without a question is one of the least compassionate unprofessional worst customer service representatives I have ever dealt with. No compassion, no sympathy, and absolutely no help.

Ordered a new battery online for store pick and saved 20%. Cashier was very nice and knowledgeable.
Would give no stars if it was an option. Ran into the store to get one thing. James (he had a name tag) and has usually helped me in past and provided excellent service was busy helping a customer with parts.The second associate sat the entire time at the first register and was too busy talking with a gentleman who clearly wasn’t buying anything. This went on for at least five minutes - we all kind of just looked at each other like really..... Well he finally leaves and she sarcastically says do you need help you..... NO, I have been standing here for no reason at all.My receipt says her name is Robin W. First, she needs some serious customer service training. Second, if you have to be sitting and slumped over the counter than maybe you shouldn’t be working as a cashier and third if you do not like your job maybe you should seek employment elsewhere!
They never have enough people working at the counter and are usually rude. Youre better off going to Napa, theyre a lot more friendly there and are actually car people who seem to know what theyre talking about (although prices are high at both places).
These guys always take care of me and its the only part store close to Old Town.

Place order online...30 minutes to be ready and they never are. Manager was an a$$ when I tried exchanging a lifetime warranty part. Horrible customer service. The employees just walk around and never ask if you need help. Saw 5 employees and about 5 people in line and James was the only one on the counter.

There is absolutely NO customer service. Husband and I just went in to buy oil, the men at the counter were rude and unhelpful. Its like this every time we come to this store. Maybe corprate should pay people a little more to get quality personalities in the store. This was for sure my last trip to this store!

Go here if you feel the need to be ignored. Somehow they manage to have 6 people working and nobody running a cash register. The NAPA down the street has fast and friendly service.

Horrible staff they are supposed to open at 7:30 am they dont show up until that time. If you are standing at the counter waiting for service half of the employees just walk by you without asking if they can help you.
Service is really bad, costumer service is rude and not helpful. if store close at 8pm, they have to help you till 8pm.

Ok for oil and other consumables when on sale, sales staff isnt very well trained, its kinda like a department store, if you need parts go to NAPA on Roosevelt Blvd.
