Excellent all around. GREAT service, everyone is friendly and wants to make every experience a good one. Love the curbside. Every drink is fantastic. Nutty Bee Latte and Honey Bee Latte are personal favorites.

Local Roots is so much more than a coffee shop. The drinks there are amazing and well-curated. I love the mini shops within the shop with earrings, candles, etc. It is a comfortable place to work or just hang out with friends. Highly recommend!

This place is so delightful! Their coffee is delicious (best frappe I’ve ever had). But I’m really here for the wax melts made by the owner. They are the perfect potency to make my house smell great, but not so much that it feels overwhelming. I went inside today for the first time and found well made greeting cards, locally made dog treats, and so many other great finds. Highly recommend!

Kernersville needed a local place like this! Fixer upper style farm house with a cozy and warm atmosphere. The workers were so helpful and gave their recommendations. My girlfriends and I sat here for a couple hours just talking. I had the pimento cheese sandwiches, and we also had the California chicken salad croissant and pumpkin muffin to share among the 3 of us. I also got the salted caramel latte (AMAZING!) and got to try the lavender latte (ALSO AMAZING!) There are locally made art pieces for purchase and candles. Do yourself a favor and come here!!!! I cant wait to come back.

This is such a cute local coffee shop! I couldn’t get over how cute it was while I was there. Plus, they have oat milk!! The fact they carry oat milk made me love this place even more. I was even impressed by their coffee. Super cozy and cute vibes while I was there, and I’ll definitely be back. Definitely recommend if you need a good place to study!

This is an awesome spot for superb coffee and a comfortable chat. This unassuming location is warm, friendly and inviting for any casual meeting. We use this place to meet with clients and amongst ourselves for business. Its peaceful - no one bothers us and the beverages are wonderful. Served with a smile and prepared perfectly.

It was alright. A cute place, although from the start I was confused on where I should/could sit and the coffee wasnt any better than anywhere else in town.Likely a nice place to hang out and read a book, less nice to meet friends at.

Very poor service. I was not attended. Nor asked what I would like to order. It was our first time there and we weren’t sure as to what to do when we walked in, we were told to wait outside so we did. I downloaded the app. Waited and nothing. A lady came out just to tell me to move my car to the back. I did that, minutes later Same woman came outside and exchanged words with the other group next to us, she looked at us then just went inside. At this point it has been at least 12 minutes. No one was wearing masks in or out they can definitely get shut down for this. It’s a shame because I’m a paying customer and I was excited to try their drinks.

This is the only place in Kernersville where I can get a coffee with oat milk, which is my fav! ❤️ Highly recommend coming here to support local businesses over big coffee chains!

Friendly staff and delicious latte. And I know my espresso, I was as a field service technician working on espresso machines for two years. Had to know everything about espresso - from a perfect grind to the color spectrum of the crema to ensure a properly extracted shot. Theirs was yum.

My absolute favorite coffee shop, the vibe is so laid back and cute it makes you want to stay all day. My coffee always tastes amazing, and they have plenty of options to choose from. They have multiple non-dairy choices as well which I appreciate, the prices are great especially for the quality they provide. I cannot recommend local roots enough!

This place is amazing! Danielle and Stephanie are two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and they really make you feel welcome anytime you stop by. The drinks are delicious, and sometimes they have pastries and other goodies also. They have all kinds of milk, including oat milk, which can be hard to find at a coffee shop. If you don’t want to order inside, you can download the Odeko app and place an order, and they offer curbside pickup. Inside, they also offer some locally handcrafted candles, jewelry, and other things. The candles are amazing FYI. I visit here a couple times a week at least and am never disappointed. My life partner also loves their coffee and also prefers them to the big chain on the other side of town. We can’t say enough good things about this place!

This is a fantastic coffeeshop, not only in service and drink quality, but also in space! There are so many places to cozy up or meet friends. My personal favorite is the vanilla bean frappuccino, and theres also a good selection for breakfast treats (muffins, cookies, yogurts). I appreciate that I can bring my own cup, and more importantly, that I can support a local business and my coffee habit.

Wife and I popped in for a quick coffee and they did not disappoint. Got a s’mores mocha and a pumpkin spice latte. Very delicious and a cool spot to hang out and get some work done. Will definitely stop by again while in town.

Me, my husband and kids went here the other day and I have to say they have the best coffee and smoothies in town . I love the fact that you can shop around and look at all the other stuff they sell . Visited this shop with a friend. I tried the Holiday blend, was unable to drink it. Swapped drinks with my friend for an eggnog Chai (which WAS good). The staff was rather cool towards me, the shop was absolutely freezing. Even with a hot drink I was unable to get warm, left my jacket and scarf on the duration of my visit. The bathroom was dirty and took me awhile to find it even after asking the staff.
