This store recently started closing the cafe at night and allowing you to pickup your mobile order through the drive through only. This means if you placed your order expecting to run in and grab it you cant, you have to go get in a line 20 cars long, wait an extra 15-20 minutes, then get your order that is now cold if you got a hot drink, or watered down if you got an iced drink. Totally defeats the purpose of even allowing mobile orders. If you want to close the cafe to ordering by all means have at it, but not allowing people to walk in just to grab the drinks they ordered is silly. Taking my business elsewhere until this is remedied.
This location is filled with friendly hardworking people, whom I highly recommend you visit! Like everyone else, they are currently short staffed, so please understand they are working as quickly as they can for all of us! 🙏🏻
Just had the best customer service experience Ive had in a very long time. I ordered a to-go box of coffee for a morning meeting. The person who took my order (April, I think?) was extremely pleasant and let me know it would take about 10 minutes. There was a problem behind the counter and things took longer than expected. April came out to where I was sitting to let me know there was a problem and that my order would be ready shortly. She brought my order directly to me. On the way to my car, another employee who was just coming into work offered to help me carry my order to my car. All in all, it was a very positive way to start my day and I really appreciate the customer-centered approached. BRAVO!!!

I love Starbucks, but we had to go through the drive through since the inside had closed. The line was so long that we just drove away. #nocoffee for me. Please keep the inside open longer. The 2 stars are only for this specific incident.
Gwynn, the cashier who assisted me is fantastic! She knows what she’s doing and she was being very patient to the customer before me. I’m not big in reviews not unless it’s either 5 or 1 star. Lol!
Thw last few times I have been to this Starbucks the drinks have been terrible. I always get a Venti iced brown sugar shaken espresso and you can tell just by what it looks like if its not right. I can tell when they havent used the correct milk by taste and by the heartburn. The coffee always tastes burnt. Today I treated a friend so thats 2 ventis that nobody could drink. I know there is a staffing issue but I get get charged full price! Please train the people you do have to do it right! Also I have had numerous friends say they never get the right drink here.
This place is off the chain! Its like, you get in line, you order your stuff (whatever that stuff may be), and then they just give you your stuff. You dont even have to wait. And theyre super nice about it! It was too good not to share with you folks so I simply had to let you know. I hope you all pay a much needed and well-deserved visit to this fabulous establishment. In and out. They had limited loaf cakes during my visit however the service was great!!
My daughter in law went through the drivethru where she was told to shut my grandson up because he’s so loud and it was hurting the waitresses ears! He was excited to be getting a cake pop!!! It isn’t what she said it’s how she said it! Be better! We will never go back
This is by far the worst Starbucks experience I have had.Sitting in the drive through for over 20 minuets is completely unacceptable. (This isn’t the first time this has happened in the last two weeks)People have become so drawn to the “Starbucks” name, yet Starbucks continues to overcharge for coffee and deliver bad service.Extremely disappointed in this location and hope that upper management takes a look into their response times.
Slowest Starbucks on earth. The drinks are never on par with the other Starbucks we go to in Greensboro. We placed an online order, paid for our drinks and then find out the lobby is closed. Sit in the drive thru for 40 minutes, wondering what’s going on, come around the corner and see the employees just sitting here talking and giggling. How does it take anywhere close to 40 minutes for the 4 cars in front of us to get through the Starbucks drive thru? This isn’t the first time this Starbucks has been awful. We got here at 9:10, it’s 9:45 now, and we’re still sitting here waiting. This place is a joke. Fire the entire crew.
I have visited this Starbucks twice on my way to work. And it is by far THEE worst Starbucks ever. The first time I got a Venti Green Tea Frap. and thought maybe because a got the bigger size the flavor was off a little bit. The next time I got an ice white mocha. It was so disgusting I couldn’t even finish it. It had absolutely no flavor at all. I will not be returning to this location. It’s best to go to the location across the street inside the Harris Teeter. This place is absolute trash.
I have lived in the area for about 5 years and this Starbucks is 10 minutes away from me. It also happens to be my favorite one in the area. I can always rely on the customer service of the friendliest staff here, always pleasant when taking orders and going the extra mile to notice my pups in the car with me to offer them pup-accinos or treats. Also, for some reason, acts of paying it forward happen quite frequently to my husband and me here. Folks ahead of us will often pay for our orders and we like to do the same for others. In addition, we enjoy dropping that bit into the tip jar for the workers who benefit a lot more from the extra kindness. Also want to note that if you’re doing drive thru they moved the lane from around chipotle further down the end of the lot around Mattress Firm, probably to accommodate longer lines. A tip in case anyone has trouble finding it because it’s not immediately obvious to drive around back of all the buildings.
Mercy be upon your souls if you ever accidentally drive around the back of the building and get funneled into the slowest drive through on earth with no way around.
The lady running the cash register/taking orders at 9:30 June 26th with blonde hair in a straight pony tail had just giggled, laughed and ran around the store for 20 mins. Waited in line for a drink I ordered and said to be ready at 9:16. Comes around 9:53 and still waiting. If I didn’t already pre order this drink I wouldn’t even be here. Last time I ever come here.

Randomly closed dining in due to low staff but they always have the same amount if staff. Take forever to do anything and line for drive thru is almost always a 30 to 45 minute wait minimum.
Twice almost an hour in line to be told that none of the drinks we ordered are there and that they close at 11 and at 9 they have already washed the machine ????
Ive been to alot of Starbucks all across the country this is by far the BEST ! Drinks are always great and the management and team are the friendliest most up beat ! Keep up the great work!
I have literally been to Starbucks around the globe and in proficiency and accuracy this location is the worse. Going at least once a week my drink orders are wrong 60-70% of the time. Mobile orders take 15 min to prepare. How do you need up a printed mobile order? If there was another coffee place closer Id go there.
Their coffee is usually a hit or miss, no one day does the coffee have a consistent flavor. They always seem in a rush and have gotten our order wrong multiple times and also forgot to put the coffee lid on to prevent spilling. Need to try their cold brew Irish cream coffee that they have for the holiday, it is greattttt!!
Matt the manager is amazing! He really treats you like a person and doesnt look down his nose at you like Starbucks can be famous for. Teach the younger generation the ways Matt!
The constant change of their open/close hours gives me whiplash. Their closing time was 10pm for the longest time, then randomly changed to 7pm for less then 2 weeks, went back to 10pm, and then with no notice changed to a closing time of 4pm. And now randomly as I drive past this store, I see carsin the drive thru. Sure enough, new store hours are back to 10pm. Please make up your mind.

Love my kernersville starbucks. Everyone is so sweet. I come before work often or during my lunches. Wait times are as expected for a StarbucksWanted to address the low reviews:-Long line. It’s starbucks of course the line is going to be long if you don’t like how long the wait is apply for a job and do it yourself. They’re only human and can only go as fast as they can, grow up.-Drive through area. the drive through is better than it used to be it used to cut into the chipotle alley way and it was making it out to the road at points so i believe this concept is better. It’s just the location that makes it all wonky.-Wait times. Okay cmon it’s Starbucks !! It’s a popular coffee shop & they don’t have a ton of employees-Mobile orders. I’ve used mobile orders multiple times. Before you order they give you a estimate on the app of how long it would be till it’s possibly ready. Anytime i order it says 7-10 mins and i get there in 10 mins and it’s ready.Overall this Starbucks is great & i just believe others need to have patience and just understand times get busy. They’re only human.
One of the worst wait times Ive experienced at Starbucks for a mobile order. Received half my order after awhile then waited another long amount of time for the second drink. Many people were standing around waiting on their drinks. We stopped at this location on the way home from a day trip...We would have kept driving if wed known the experience would be this poor.
Gave up waiting after 25 minutes for 2 cups of coffee. They were very quick to take my order but eventually needed to ask for a refund as so much time had elapsed waiting with no end in sight.

Don’t waste your time! Go to the one in Target! You need to update your hours if you’re going to change them. Highly disappointed in service and your hour change. If you can’t keep up with the business then something needs to be done to handle the traffic better, or just close all together.
They didnt want to serve us because we prefer cash. Using a credit card for a coffee is insane. If you dont want to accept US currency for coffee at least announce it or post it before waiting 20 minutes in a drive through.

I always get the same drink. Always. Just moved into town from another state and this is the closest Starbucks to my home. Ive gone 4 or 5 times now and my drink always tastes different. Drive thru extremely slow.

This has to be the worst Starbucks around. I have been here 4 consecutive times and ordered a grande caramel macchiato...all 4 times...I drive away and my order is made wrong. And the only reason I am not steaming mad is because I paid using gift cards. But, enough is enough.I would have gotten back in the drive thru, but the line took me forever to get through. I visit this location many times after it first opened when visiting family and it was great. Now, not so much. Must be a change in ownership or management.I think I am going begin consuming more local roasters because they get my order right every time.I would have given them less stars, but they get credit for at least giving me the correct temperature drinks each time.
Placed a mobile order at 5:09 and didn’t receive my order until 5:45. Drive thru and in store orders were being placed and given as I stood there and waited for 30 minutes. Unacceptable. I shouldn’t be waiting that long for coffee. If you’re not going to do mobile orders then turn it off.

The drive thru line at this location is usually extremely long...and be prepared to wait in it for about 30 minutes. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the staff is so excellent. They are always extremely friendly and seem happy to be there. I’ve only had an order made wrong a few times but they are always glad to fix it with no issues. Love the staff, hate the wait times.
I stood in line waiting for about 5 minutes and finally gave up and placed my order via the mobile app. After I proceeded to the pick up side, she finally noticed me and asked what she could get for me. Unreal. My drink was almost ready by this time.
Went to get me a drink at 9:35pm and it was closed! I checked before going and online said they closed at 10pm! Get it straight please
11:50 on a Saturday. They forgot to give my card back in the drive through and had to ask for it back. Got drink belonging to the person behind me. Didn’t notice till I had pulled forward, had to go in getting toddler out of his car seat. Took a min or so to get a staff member to make eye contact to ask a question, got my drink. No apologies.End of the world? No.Frustrating...kinda?Worth 3/5 stars? Yes.

This is based on the DRIVE THRU ALONE. No matter what time you go to Starbucks the line is 20-30 min. It’s ridiculous. Going in is no faster. This is a reflection of lack of other drive thru options for coffee in Kernersville and the other Starbucks in Harris Teeter and Target being inside a store and a long wait there as well. Not worth my time anymore. Come on guys the quality is suffering.
My daughter and I stopped here for happy hour and enjoyed BOGO drinks. The cashier was friendly and helpful. Our drinks were good. The decor is cool. However, I rarely visit. I wish there was more seating and it wasnt so expensive. Its often so noisy I cant hear.
Went through the drive thru and sat for at least 20 -30 mins mins before even placing my order . Ordered 5 drinks drinks and none of them were made right or was missing something spent a good $30 . Tried to call and couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone . I understand y’all are busy due to holidays just disappointing when you spend a lot of money and don’t get what you order . I had order venti iced chestnut praline is was missing the praline topping and 3 iced grande chestnut praline all was missing the praline topping and a venti iced white choc mocha, with cold foam and extra caramel drizzle and it was missing the caramel.Update : got someone on the phone finally and was told I could come in tomorrow and explain situation. She said they was out of chestnut praline and I just said I wish someone would’ve told me then I wouldn’t have got it . She didn’t really seem very happy about the situation. She said her name was Michael so I’m guessing they’ll replace them tomorrow . Will update once I go . As I wasn’t given a receipt I asked if she could take my name and she said she wrote it down .Update 12/26 I went back and was told that I apparently had spoke to a new girl and normally they only replace a few but ended up replacing 2 ventis and 2 grande so 4 out of 5 drinks . Overall this was prob the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Starbucks

I like this Starbucks the best from a few others Ive been too. They always have what I want and yes Ive had to use extra napkins with my drinks... the barista handed it to me and informed me it was made with extra love! 😁 Everyone is so nice and friendly.

Drive through took 30 minutes!
Today my mother and I went to the drive thru and as soon as we were about to leave, our car broke down. The employees were genuinely concerned and two of them actually came out and pushed our car out of the way which somehow helped to start the car. I wish I knew their names but I can’t thank them enough. The customer service is through the roof!10/10 would recommend

Management might consider keeping a better eye on inventory. No cup sleeves is rough when coffee is hot, no drink carrier made it rougher! Surprised they were out of both. Raw sugar was empty as well (did find more of that under counter). Still a good cup of coffee but doesnt the price Id expect not to juggle three hot cups out the door in my hands.

Coffee is very hit or miss consistency wise. I often stop here on my way home from work around 3:00pm. I am in the drive thru line for no less than 20 minutes each time. Frustrating.

Waited in line in the drive thru for 45 minutes. I’m not exaggerating. 45 minutes is a bit of an unreasonable wait time for coffee.Also noticing reading past reviews how this location has received the same complaints since opening, with no response by management, and no improvement in customer service. Not a good management model....
Placed a mobile order at 1:38, arrived to the store at 1:45 (the estimated pickup time), finally got my coffee at 2:00. One drink. Clearly there was no point in placing the mobile order ahead since they prioritize every other order first.
I love this Starbucks and so does my dog! The employees are always very friendly and using their app to order before you get their makes it even easier.

Quick and correct! I walked in, ordered, and was back out the door on the way to work until just a few minutes. They were friendly and personable. This wasnt too far off of Business 40. I was at a training in Greensboro this week and stopped by more than once this week because I knew they could get me in and out in a flash. Great coffee! If I was headed in the same direction again, Id stop by here for sure.
I love this Starbucks. The staff is always courteous. They know who you are and what you generally get. The evening staff is awesome. The restaurant is always clean, inside and out. Nice place to just chill, alone or with friends!!
The product is equal to any Starbucks, but the staff were too busy chatting with each other to suggest sale or offer greeting. Cold and sterile location. Maybe we just need self-service everywhere.

Always a great coffee. Maybe not the exact taste depending on hourly staff, but nevertheless great coffee. Only once had food slightly frozen in the middle which was rectified immediatly and with unnecessary humility. And the staff is extremely helpful with any question no matter who you ask or what you ask.
Its Starbucks, their standards are above most and I enjoy going there just to unwind. The drinks are on the pricier side; however, they are worth the money. I personally enjoy the Very Berry Hibiscus with Lemonade.
Ordered thru the app, and asked for the coffee cake NOT to be warmed, drink was ready when I arrived, coffee cake was not and when it was, it was steaming HOT!!! Guess they couldnt read this morning....
Stopped in a number of times for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich or muffin. Food is always good. Service with a smile all the time. Very clean establishment with plenty of seating.
I was floored that they were open Thanksgiving. The young lady who served us did so with the biggest smile on her face. I wish her and everyone else who was working there last night a Happy Thanksgiving. You guys are the true MVPs

I am a fan of coffee houses, but this one location keeps the music super loud. Also, besides the four leather chairs, all the furniture is harsh to look at and be seated in for more than a few minutes. There is a corporate vibe, which isnt found in other local shops. The coffee is coffee, so good and definitely made other shops step up their game. Now just work on the atmosphere.

I am one if the few people who doesn’t drink coffee. Each time I go by Starbucks the staff are patient and very friendly. They don’t mind making recommendations for alternative drinks for a non coffee drinker. This is very appreciated by me, because I have little knowledge of their products. My daughters love to go to your stores.
This was a great Starbucks! The line went very fast and our drinks tasted delicious. I got a dragonfruit refresher, which tasted delicious. No complaints!
It is like most Starbucks. It had outside and inside seating. It also has a drive through. It is located in front of Target and across the street from Harris teeter, which both have Starbucks inside them. This is nice in case the line at this one is long you are less than a minute from two more.

Very sweet and friendly staff, and a welcoming environment. I would just like to encourage management to remind baristas to use reusable containers to measure out ingredients when customers bring their own mug. I did so and noticed that the milk was measured out in a plastic cup which was thrown away after my drink was made- which defeated the purpose of me bringing my own cup. Overall a great place but just a friendly reminder that we can all be more mindful of our environmental impact 💗
The best location! The staff is always friendly and go above & beyond for you! When I do my mobile orders they make it just like I like it! This is definitely my “go-to” location above any other!!
Almost always have to repeat my order more than twice. Often even after that I still have to correct them. The drive thru speed varies. Be warned if you get iced drinks the lid will almost always be covered in drink.

Pretty good Starbucks. The sitting area is large, so its a nice change from many of the smaller Starbucks. Staff isnt quite as friendly as some Starbucks, but they arent rude or anything. Drink was made well, but I ordered in the cafe and they put it in the mobile order section, so there was a delay in getting my order.
