Quiet & laid back atmosphere. Small town coffee shop located in historic downtown Kernersville, NC. Absolutely the BEST AROUND NORTH CAROLINA. After trying almost every espresso coffee shop between Winston Salem, Lexington and Greensboro none of them remotely compared to Kyles Coffe Shop. Seriously!!!! He has coffee beans and espresso beans for sale by the pound. My favorite java to get here is the White Mocha Breve. My kids love to come with me because Kyle makes his place family oriented. With a chalkboard wall and toys for the kiddos.

Really enjoyed our visit to Kyles Coffee. He is very friendly and knowledge and made one of the best white mochas Ive ever had. As many times as Ive been here, and only ever had an excellent experience, I cant believe Ive never reviewed Kyles Coffee. Kyle takes very great care in how he roasts his beans and he will geek-out for hours about his process. As soon as I walk in the store he starts making my Cortado with an extra shot because he knows me and he knows his supporters. Easily the best shop in town!

Lets talk about coffee! This small business knows coffee. They do not just push buttons on machines. If you ask for a breve, they know that means with half & half. If you say latte, they know that means with milk. Not only do they know coffee, they know GOOD FRESH coffee. I am hoping this business becomes iconic to our town. Im glad we finally got a good coffee place!

Just recently visited Kyles for a pound of Espresso. He didnt balk at the challenge to blend a less bitter combination and to my delight Turkish grind. The combination was sweeter than those many of us are used to. I can say the personal customer service went a long way. I look forward to Christmas to buy my friends their Espresso. This year I will make it Kyles.Also- he made my personal request drink and for all of us, that means the difference to returning. I saw familiar faces inside the shop. We had the opportunity to talk with others and look forward to making this a frequent place to visit. Try the Oreo Frappe.

By far the best espresso Ive had. Would rate it 11 out of 10. Support local businesses. Friends dont let friends drink corporate coffee.

I love The Traveling Bean! As soon as I open the door, the wonderful aroma of Kyles freshly roasted coffee envelops me. The scent is heavenly, and the taste superb! The quality, price, and atmosphere are all wonderful. It also helps that Kyle is friendly, kind, and knowledgeable.

This was a real nice locally owned coffee shop. Just like what I loved from the places in college. I believe the owner was working and he was a very nice fellow. The beverages that my family selected were terrific, and the interior was quite pleasant. I can see this place getting better and better the longer its open and with the more customers that it gains. Definitely give it a try as it is right off of main Street in downtown Kernersville. I definitely plan on going back.

I love the coffee and the people at the Traveling Bean. Kyle, the owner knows how to get the best flavor out of the beans and roasts them perfectly. Hes great at engaging with customers to learn what they like and make recommendations that line up each person. You really cant go wrong with any of the espresso drinks or the many ways that they serve up non-espresso brews.

Highly recommend for coffee lovers! My personal favorite roast is the Bali Blue Moon. The owner is great and really knows his stuff. This was a really cool coffee shop. I have a family of five, three kids from two months, to four years, and we went in and had coffee today. Its really cool, they have a kids Train table set up, and in the drawers of the Train table they have play blocks and play train rails they can set up play with. So that was really cool to bring the kids in and they could play in my wife and I could have coffee and talk together. I had a white mocha and it was great! Also, the girl working there was really nice.

Some of the freshest roasted coffee you could ever want. I buy it by the pound and brew it at home. But if you want it brewed there I don’t think you will be disappointed. Always great!

I visited for the first time to use a gift card from Christmas. Unfortunately, I can only drink decaf. It is hard to find good decaf. My husbands comment says it perfectly. Dang! That is good stuff. Im glad I got a bag for home, too.

This is hands down the best coffee you’ll find in the Oak Ridge and Kernersville area. Everything is reasonably priced ($3.15 for a 16 oz latte) and the coffee is so good. Seating is a bit limited but still a good place to sit and do work. Love this place.

Cozy coffee shop. One of the best chai tea lattes I’ve ever had, and extremely reasonable prices! I met with a friend there for almost three hours with hardly any disruptions and it was a very productive meeting. I highly recommend this place for studying, meeting with friends, or just getting your coffee fix!

If you live in Kernersville and dont come here at least once a week we are going to kick you out, period. Living in Greensboro, one of the most memorably sad days of my life was when my beloved Beansboro closed its doors. From that point on I was simply a lost child roaming the earth in search of my next cup of black gold. Low and behold, after 10 months of searching, a sight came to eye that caused such elation that one would only be able to understand it through their own experience. Beansboro was reborn into The Traveling Bean! Same great coffee with a new location and a new name. I have found my way home once again.
