Best coffee place in town!! Ther beans are amazing and when we grind them at home the aroma lasts for a few hours!! I live in seattle and they beat their coffee a hundred times over. They should open shop there. I take their beans home each time I return. You wont leave prime roast dissappointed😝

I was in town for a few days, and became a regular customer for that time. I mostly stick to coffee, rather than anything elaborate, but theres a lot to be said for a well-executed regular coffee. This spot doesnt disappoint. The staff is awesome, too.

My dad and I have a fun tradition where I send him different coffee to sample because he lives on a small island in Hawaii where its hard to find different varieties. I first came across Prime Roast Coffee when a big brand announced they were discontinuing their Komodo Dragon roast. This was my dads favorite and I would scour stores to find it. After some time on Google I found Komodo Dragon on Prime Roasts website. I saw they were a smaller company and liked what the reviews had to say and decided to try it and another roast for his birthday gift. It arrived to him with a personal note and he was blown away with how good it was. Ever since then, I send him a Prime Roast order every birthday and Christmas. There are so many roasts for him to try, which is impressive because he loves dark roast and those are usually harder to find many varieties to experiment with. The coffee has been so good that I have stopped trying to find different brands for him to sample and we just experiment with everything Prime Roast has to offer. He raves about it so much that I think Im overdue for a personal order so I can enjoy some, too! Dad had the Mocha Irish Creme and I had the Golden Milk. We were wowed!!! Definitely worth a return trip the next time were in Keene. Cant believe we never saw this hidden gem until today - they told us theyd been there over 20 years. Nice cozy seating areas too.

This place has a very nice, calm feeling. I came in with my whole family. The kids were calmed by the atmosphere. Beautiful seating, nice artwork hangs all around you while you sit and sip. There is nice seating in the window display area. All around nice place. Stop by and see for yourself.

Relaxing and comfortable little shop. The smell when you open the door is a sure fire sign you walked into to coffee heaven. Cappuccino had a delicious bite. The baristas were helpful and not snotty like some places.

Was visiting Keene from out of town. This coffee shop has nice and friendly ambience. They also offered more than just medium roast coffee. I liked their dark roast coffee. A lot of smaller shops dont offer anything other than medium roast, but this shop offered a good variety.

Wow, I had such a wonderful cup of coffee at this awesome coffee shop. Wish they could move down here to Wrightsville Beach, NC! Its so nice to get a strong cup of coffee that has so much flavor you just want to sip it and enjoy every moment of it! I will for sure go back there next time Im in Keene! Rustic ambiance, very good coffee, and a few desserts in the case (which are very good). Its a nice place to warm up or catch up with a friend. You dont have to be hipster to drink here, but it doesnt hurt. So, pull your shirt out of the hamper, rub on some pachouli, and check it out.

Plenty of green coffee beans available if you want to roast your own (its not hard and the final product is awesome - like a garden fresh tomato) Large windows at the front of the store make for a great place to perch and watch the sidewalk.

Coffee is reasonably good, hot chocolate is terrible. Coffee is a little bitter and not especially interesting in terms of flavor profile., The milk based hot chocolate is neither creamy nor chocolaty and had a synthetic aftertaste. Given Burdicks luscious hot chocolate isnt far away (in Walpole, NH) I expected a lot more. The establishment itself is nicely decorated and staff are friendly.

So, I have been on a hunt for a good cinnamon roll, after having a strong craving for such baked yumminess, and stupidly getting a faux one at Starbucks, which was hideous. ~Totally chemical tasting!And thankfully, on a trek to Keene, we decided to battle the parking situation downtown to try a REAL cafe!Prime hit the sweet spot! Their cinnamon roll was spot on! And although disappointed they do not do pour-over coffee, the Americano purchased there was very much enjoyed!Very sweet counter people made it a cheery visit! I highly recommend this little cafe!
