Purchased this beautiful 2021 Passport Sport yesterday. Peter Merrill was an awesome salesperson, and made sure we were taken care of. Wasn’t pushy at all, and made sure that this car was perfect for us & if it wasn’t then that was okay. It made it a super easy buying process, and we are 1000% happy with our decision. Shaun Hanson is the sales manager we worked with and he was just as great. Those two working together made the best team, and helped us love our experience. We’re definitely going to come back to these guys for our next Honda!

Have you ever wanted the experience of buying a car AND being mostly ignored? Take a man in with you, theyll only talk to him, usually with their mask hanging below their bottom lip. Weirdly, even if that man says multiple times that you are buying the car, not him. They even sent him a message about the title, not me, the owner. Also, whatever fake new car fragrance theyre using like mid-00s Abercrombie cologne is eye-wateringly awful. If HRVs werent in short supply we would have purchased from anywhere else.

I purchased a new used CRV two weeks ago working with Matt and I couldnt be happier!I had recently moved to Kansas and had gotten my very old, rusted out minivan registered in Kansas mid-July. I unfortunately did not have the Kansas title in hand when I went to Jay Wolfe Honda but my car was reaching the end of its life. Matt was still able to work with me and even managed to give me some money for a trade-in. Matt was very personable and has kept in communication to make sure everything got squared away once I received the title for my trade-in. My only complaint was the whole process took about 4.5 hours (11AM to 3:30PM), but its very understandable.My new used CRV feels like brand new and its great to feel so safe and comfortable in a car again!

I visited Jay Wolfe Honda with a couple of cars in mind and I wasn’t sure where to start. I worked with Peter Merrill and he was very friendly, knowledgeable and genuine to work with. I was nervous about the sales process and being in sales myself I know how this usually goes.....BUT Peter was very honest and worked very very hard to get me the best car and deal he could possibly get. On top of that, he let us test drive many different cars and find the best one for us, as well as giving us all the info we needed to make the best decision. He spent a lot of time and many days of work to put together a deal and he even got me into a 2021 vs the 2020 we originally planned on AND with the same deal and even better financing! And if you weren’t sold already, they gave me a fantastic deal on my trade in! I LOVE my new 2021 Honda Accord sport! I couldn’t believe how much he did to make our process smooth and enjoyable. By the end of it, we found the perfect car for me! This dealership appeared to have more inventory than the others I saw.After a terrible experience at a Chevy dealership in Independence, I was extremely happy with the entire process with Blake. Blake Kelly did a great job of helping me find the perfect car, a 2021 Accord! I was able to test drive several models and compare them side by side. I initially thought I wanted a hatchback Civic but the space, options, and engine of the Accord suited me better. I brought my old car to trade in and received a fair amount for the trade in value, financing through Honda was a breeze. We can not get a call back from here. One hour after leaving the dealership the back rear tire popped, this would be normal if the mechanic didnt say that the tire was popped from the inner wheel not from the outside. It was clear that a poor inspection was done. The dealership agreed to pay the bill which was awesome if they actually did it. We have tried to get in contact with them leaving several messages and have received no calls back. Once you leave this dealership you mean nothing.

He often asked if I needed any refreshments while waiting and he also gave me frequent updates as to where in the process I was. I very much dislike all the traditional feel of car sales, and honestly, i didnt get any of that...just felt like someone who wanted to make sure i got the right vehicle. They sold us a lemon, the mechanics cleared the check engine alerts to show that the mote was fine, not even owned for 6 months and engine is going out. They cleared everything to make for a quick sale because they knew it wouldnt last long. They are crooks and wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Stay away and find a better dealer.

A dealership I used to like. I hope my experience is not the new norm in service.I believe I lost the interest of my service advisor the moment I declined his recommendations for a new battery and alignment. I was told that they cannot diagnose my complaints about front end noise with the multi-point inspection unless they perform alignment. I made an appointment the time I did on the premise of a courtesy shuttle back to my place of work. When I asked I was told the shuttle was out and will get me when it returned, which is not unusual. After over 30 mins of wait I inquired again and was told the same line! My car was done a little after that without the new wheel lock I requested. I was told to get that from parts. Another wait! Hate to judge on 1st occurrence but was just not happy! I could have gone to Valvoline and gotten the same, probably cheaper!

He made us a great deal on a 2020 model, then we switched colors and purchased a 2021 model. We had a competitive offer from another dealer and you could tell Jay Wolfe wanted to sell us a car. Bought a Honda CRV from them several months ago. Went in to get the bumper replaced after a parking accident. It took 5+ weeks and they continually said it was almost ready. Finally when we picked it up it was still missing a piece and cost 600+ more than they quoted. No calls, no updates unless we reached out. I brought my 2016 Honda Civic in for service today complaining of possible bad wheel bearings and a tire which keeps leaking air.When checking in, I was told by Adam in service that based on the quick-check that I did not need an alignment and that they would check out the wheel bearings.When Adam called me, he said that the technichian recommended 4 new tires and alignment; although he had told me that I didnt need one earlier. I asked if the technician had even looked at my ball bearings and Adam told me be didnt know, even though that was the issue I believed my car to be having based on all the research I have read and talking with others about how my car has been acting.Basically, my chief complaint about my car wasnt even looked at and this dealership would have had me pay for 4 new tires and not even fix the issue. The kicker is I had just had my oil changed here a few weeks ago and was told I only need one new tire.So I go from only needing one new tire to 4 new tires in a matter of weeks? Give me a break, dont service your vehicle here.UPDATE: After seeing the above review, Brian called me the same day and understood that my issue had not been properly dealt with. Brian went above-and-beyond, offering to keep my car over the weekend and re-address the issue on Monday with the service manager. Brian also provided me with a freshly-washed and fully-gassed loaner vehicle for me to use over the holiday weekend. I greatly appreciate Brians efforts to get to the bottom of my vehicles issues.

I’ve purchased a handful of cars from dealerships over the years. I truly have to say, this was my single best experience. My wife and I told them we have a 6 month old in tow that has an extremely small awake window. They completely accommodated us, processed the whole deal in under an hour.They’re super friendly and arguably most importantly, honest. We contacted 20 dealerships nationwide looking for a Type R, most of them greedily wanted an additional $5k surcharge over MSRP. Jay Wolfe did not. **updated in February 2021**Overall great experience, however I unfortunately had 2 flat tires within months of purchasing my new vehicle. (I never had a flat tire in my life with previous cars surprisingly) Unfortunately, neither flat tire was covered all though I paid extra for the additional warranty. The second flat tire, the gentlemen I spoke to on the phone implied that I was my fault the tire was not repairable and therefore would need to be replaced. This was not appreciated considering it was the second flat tire I had received in a very short amount of time. I wish there would have been something that could have been done since I just purchased the car and additional coverage. I would have expected better customer service given my experience with the dealership.If youre looking for support and knowledge during your car purchasing journey, Peter Merrill is your guy. I test drove a vehicle the day before leaving for a vacation and contacted Peter daily until getting back in town about the 2020 Honda CR-V I later purchased.Peter was extremely polite and professional and was able to answer all of my questions in a timely matter. Very grateful for someone like him to help me purchase a brand new vehicle. Now that I have purchased the vehicle, Peter has offered additional support should any questions arise while driving the new vehicle. They are great to work with until you leave the lot, then you become a burden. I was not provided all needed items to title vehicle. You are not able to directly call the location you purchase the vehicle from if you have any questions/issues. All 3 staff members I spoke to had no intent to help. I ended up having to purchase a separate inspection on the vehicle I just bought from what I thought to be a credible dealership. When I asked if it was missing from my paperwork or I needed to pick on up, they said it would be in my trunk or glove compartment. Neither were the case and they implied for me to look harder. The inspection was only $12 luckily, but I would warn anyone buying from Jay Wolfe Honda in general is a bad choice unless you are confident you will not need their services any longer. I would truly recommend going elsewhere if possible to an operation that takes customer service seriously.

Was able to set up an appointment for an oil change the day that I called. Their reps on the phone and in-shop were super helpful and professional. They have complimentary wifi and their bathrooms were very nice (and clean!). Definitely recommend!

I took my mother to this dealership in search of a new car for here. Peter Merrill approached us when we got to the lot and introduced himself. I asked Peter for his card and to let me browse with my mother and I would let him know if we were interested. Peter came to the rescue. He had no Idea if I was buying or not but he took the time to work not only with me but my mom. She had certain things she was looking for and Peter said he would do his best to accommodate. Peter went above and beyond what I would expect out of any car dealer. He was more than willing to do whatever it took to make my mom happy. We got her a used car still in factory warranty. It was everything she wanted and more except for the color. He never once got tired of our questions, how long we took on test drive or the fact that what model of car my mom wanted was not quite set in stone. If you need a new or used car Peter is your man. I will openly admit I may can be abrasive at times and to the point. Peter didnt waiver. Jay Wolfe Honda is the place to buy and Peter is the man to help with getting you a car.

Peter is informative, helpful and relaxed, which made me very comfortable during such a large purchase. They dont hide the ball at Jay Wolfe; they tell you exactly like it is and go above and beyond to help you get the best possible car and deal for you. Jessica handled the financial portion of our sale and was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable as well. We had been to a few dealerships prior to Jay Wolfe and I can say for certain that Jay Wolfe was the best experience. I was looking for a Honda Passport as I know how the Honda line is very dependable. My 2005 Pilot just passed 200,000 miles with 4 different drivers, two of them young adults. Now I own two Hondas. I wanted to use my Costco member discount and found out that Jay Wolfe Honda is certified to handle the Costco discount. I asked for a sales person that was certified with the Costco discount and knowledgeable about the Honda Passport.Peter Merrill told me everything I needed to know about my Costco discount and explained to me all the details and how I can take advantage of percent off accessories and of course my percentage off the sticker price. Then Peter was able to answer all my questions about the Passport and if he did not know an answer he found the answer quickly. Peter is easy to work with, very knowledgable and belives that buying a vehicle should not be difficult and also shouldnt take all day. He helped me receive a fair price for my trade and helped me add the accessories I wanted for my new Passport.I recommend asking for Peter Merrill to help you if you want a great buying experience with your next Honda at Jay Wolfe Honda.

I have owned the same car for 21 years! Yes 21 almost 22, 1999 Honda Accord! Best car I’ve ever owned! It was at the point of needing a couple repairs and I didn’t want to put that much money into a car that was so old. I went to Jay Wolfe Honda on 11-14-20 and had the best experience! Peter Merrill was the salesman that helped, he was so nice, went above and beyond to get me into a car that I would be happy with and in my price range. I hate going to car dealerships because they can be so pushy and that was not the case with Peter, it was an absolute pleasure shopping for my new car with him. Peter was our salesman. With a busy life with 2 small children, we did not have any time to come into the sales room. We contacted Jay Wolfe and were put with Peter. He helped us work out a deal in September but we werent ready yet. Peter than contacted us again in December to follow up and worked another great deal for us! We did almost everything via phone/email; and finished off last night! Peter was very responsive and helpful along the way. Whenever I need service on my Honda Civic, I always come here.The last time I went, Byron provided excellent customer service and took the time to answer or find answers to my questions.The service folks went above and beyond to fix a minor issue with my splash shield during my oil change.The waiting room provides refreshments and plenty of space to get some work done while your vehicle is being worked on.I highly recommend this location.
