I was surprised with the food. I ordered the fish and I was kinda skeptical as it looked like it would be dry but oh I was wrong. The fish, the chicken and the beef tasted great. The whole family enjoyed everything since we tried a little bit from each other. I almost ordered extra food to take to go but I was stuffed and so happy that I forgot to place another order.
Great shell collection with lots of souvenir options. The bbq chicken looked amazing.
We stopped by the location to check out sea shells. Decided to try their food. I ordered fish and Huli huli chicken. both were good. Clean place, nice people!
Over the top rules for entry and dining, but the Huli-Huli chicken plate & garlic shrimp plate were awesome. Were definitely going back
The food and shop here is amazing!! And the staff that work here are so nice!
Nice place. Good Hui Hui Chicken and Garl8c Shrimp plates. A little bit expensive but not too bad.Going again for sure.
This place might be called Coral Kingdom but the sign on the outside said huli huli chicken or something and it was a great little place to stop and eat, very yummy food. They also had a nice gift shop and convenience store for t-shirts and jewelry and such.
Forget the shrimp trucks their spicy shrimp plate was one of the best things I ate on the island. Totally unexpected surprise. Outdoor seating has great views as well. Best shrimp hands down. Was so good nobody was talking we were all too busy enjoying the food
Delicious garlic shrimp. And great store to buy goodies.
Great food, great service and nice shop for gift shopping!
Best food we have had on the island! Great place to stop for lunch. The grilled chicken was killer!
The best rotisserie chicken on the island plus great personnel
Smallest chicken halves Ive ever been served. Pricy also
Decent food, nice gift shop but not allowed to shop because Covid restrictions. Large windows to look in, maybe window shop
좋아요 😀 👍you can choose whatever you want for souvenirs about Hawaii .. 💕Also feeding to your hungry stomach 😋
Awful.Fish was rubbery!!Inedible.Threw in trash.Would likely have gotten sick if I ate it.
Pleasant but smelled like a pasture.
Since this whole pandemic started n me being furloughed since March we tend to play “tourist” n stop by eateries that normally we wouldn’t have but nowadays will especially if they’re local! Support local always! Been here a couple of times! Everyone’s so nice n owner Thomas has said “it’s a family business” ! That’s the best! Pls go check them out n support our local businesses! Will be back to eat more chicken here soon!
Food and drinks were amazing, especially for the price.
The place to go for huli huli chicken, guaranteed!!! Birds start turning at about 10:00 a.m. and dont stop until theyre sold out...
Very friendly and helpful staff. A large assortment of quality Hawaiian made items, as well as tee shirts and hats. They also have food available, such as fresh made burgers and fries. Assorted cold beverages available as well.
The Chicken is AWESOME!
It was cool! Neat. I always wanted to stop by there, even though my wallet, neither my eyes where too prepared. Plenty of parking, excellent dining, and rare spectacular unique gift shop shopping await. There is a med.-large dining room. Impressive I hope to visit there in a prepared to shop and eat visit once or a few to es a year. A dandy.
Cute gift shop on the side of the road. Lots of shells and jewelry (on the pricey side), definitely geared more towards tourists. Small snack bar, convenient for kids who are tired of driving around the island 😉
The place was nice and tidy. Clean and great customer service. The food was tasty and fresh. Affordable prices. Souvenir shop seemed a bit expensive.
The service was quick but the food left much to be desired. The presentation was good. I ordered the garlic shrimp and it had a lot of seasoning on the outside shell but the inside was rather bland. The macaroni salad is average. The French fries needed salt (personal preference) wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.
This store has the best macadamia nuts! try the cinnamon flavor, its their original recipe. Good place to stop by for lunch. The view of Kualoa mountain is beautiful.
Great place to stop for lunch. They have a good selection of items to browse afterwards. The staff is very friendly. You might find better deals on shirts and dressed elsewhere though. They were a bit on the pricey side.
Great garlic shrimp plate!!!
Very good. Food was very fresh and good flavors. The folks working the counter were very nice and did a wonderful job. Will stop there again.
Totally not what I was expecting. I felt nauseated after eating there. They miss the salad on the same place as the main dish which gets Curry sauce on the salad. The salad is simply lettuce and tomatoe. I would turn the place into a breakfast restaurant. The location is awesome, its a shame its being utilized so poorly.
The staff are incredibly kind and thoughtful, the food was great.of the 6 of us, we each got something pretty different and everyone was happy. They even have cappuccinos and other coffee items. They sell leis, jewelry, wooden things, carvings, tikis and mugs, clothing, etc. Its wonderful:)
Stopped here to get some coral and some sea shells to bring back to the mainland for some friends. Was highly disappointed with most of the stuff in the store. However the stuff is very beautiful, when you turn it over its not from Hawaii. A lot of it says it was made in Guatemala or Indonesia or somewhere like that but it is not made in Hawaii. I didnt go on vacation to Hawaii to buy Trinkets and things that came from Mexico or Ecuador. This is actually a big problem with the things that Im finding all over the aisle. So pay attention because most of the stuff came from a different country. For me I didnt want to buy seashells from a foreign place while I was in Hawaii.I did buy my daughter a couple Hawaiian style dresses while we were in Hawaii from the store. But I doubt that they were made in Hawaii either. I honestly felt like I was just in another Asian store that sells Asian trinkets to tourists. The trinkets just happened to look real beachy.
Great Hawaiian food. Reasonable prices and slow service allows you to explore the shop. Lots of beautiful items like shells, jewlery, ukuleles, and many souvenir to choose from.
Huli huli chicken is great! Also love the cinnamon and Koha coffee macadamias which they make on site
Good eats too. Good spot to stop and do a little shopping
Chicken so ono
Beautiful place. Great variety.... awesome customer service
Great selection of gifts here. Staff are very friendly. And they have one of the only bathrooms around.
All we got were Maui Brewing bikini blondes but they were the perfect drink and nice and cold after the two-hour UTV adventure at Kualoa Ranch.
Nice place for local favorites and all items made with coral are sold in the gift shop.
Their veggie burger combo is delicious! The patty isnt dry and the fries are nice and crunchy
This is a nice place to eat, have an alcoholic drink or buy memorable gifts. The food is great and comes out fast. The workers are local people with friendly attitudes.
First time to go inside, they have many nice things for souvenirs, I purchase macadamia nuts coated with cinnamon. Yum!
Went on the Oahu Go City bus tour around the Island with a stop to eat at Coral Kingdom. Ruined the rest of our trip to Hawaii. Spent four days in bed with apparent food poisoning for both my wife and I. STAY AWAY. Felix who drives for Roberts bus Company is great...but he should never stop again for lunch at Coral Kingdom as it is a detriment to the health of his passengers.
A great place to have meals. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Plan on coming back again.
Good selection of items. Closes early. Felt like we were preventing them from going home by looking around.
The food was very good and huge servings for the price! Definitely a must food hit!
Unique but nothing worth buying. Its a tourist trap.
Scammers!!The taller lady will pressure you into buying stuff, and she is relentless! We bought a ring for $159 and looked online later, they are worth $80!!Huge scam!Everything is overpriced! All the ladies are Korean, what a shame on the korean people to have disgusting scammers like this.
Food was great, glad we found the spot!
Disappointing. This was a scheduled lunch stop on an island bus tour. Not really anything of interest (hence no photos with this review). The cafeteria fare was average and kinda overpriced. The Loco Moco was not at all the special plate lunch it was billed to be. The gift shop was large filled with souvenirs.
Good portions. Great smokey Hawaiian bbq.
GREAT customer service and products. Little on the spendy side BUT the quality is excellent and worth the money! Would definitely go back.
The Usual Tourist Trap with More Sales People than Customers.Garlic Shrimp Fried Rice is Awesome.
Chicken was dry. The guy taking my order didnt know what was in the stuff. Example I asked if there was onions in the macaroni salad he said no. There was. And when i went to the shop they made me feel like Im a theft even though I had NO bag or anything in my hands. When I go back I wont go here.
The most horrible, worthless, and unhealthy food I have ever ordered in my life. To make it worse, it seems this restaurant and its workers have made a vow to rip people off without any remorse. You dare not attempt to refuse the rip off food brought to you because no matter what your excuse is, the die is cast - they will just laugh at you and say No without any empathy- they already got your money, which is their only interest. This is a restaurant from hell people. Please, believe the reviews of other people, this restaurant is horrible to a degree I have never seen ever. I have never reviewed anything in my life, for me to sit down and right this means a lot, I just think I owe America this review.
This restaurant is horrible. They lie to you in front of your face, they say they will give you curry but instead they give you turkey broth. In this Coral Kingdom you cannot return any food you purchase even if there is evidence you have done nothing to the food. Dont order anything from this coral hell. This restaurant prerequisites are way below the minimum.
Its okay
Tons of employees watching you, following you around, telling you not to touch things. Great fun 🙄
A huge yummy meal for a good price. Theres so much to look at as well.
Am visiting the island for a few months and I have heard a mixture of things from people about this restaurant. I was a little hesitant to try, but figured I had nothing to lose.I LOVED IT!!!!This food was seriously so amazing. Totally local food and extremely good. I tried the huli huli chicken and the loco moco. The Loco Moco was one of the best ones I have had on the island. I talked with the manager and he said it was their secret family recipe. I will definitely eat here again and bring my friends.
Tourist trap with jacked up prices and sales reps... Didnt buy anything after getting a bad taste in my mouth from the obvious scam it is.
The reason I’m giving this place 4 stars is that I’m comparing it to similar tour pit stops/ tourist shops. The food is around 10-12 dollars for a plate, 7-10 for a sandwich combo, and 13-15 for daily special plates. The experience of having traditional hawaiian dishes on your tour is pleasant. The loco moco is recommended, as well as the huli huli chicken.
Huli Huli Chicken!!! Let me just say that this charming, family-operated establishment is a true gem! Tucked away on the Windward side of the island, alongside Kualoa Ranch, most people dont know that they have an amazing cafe thats open for lunch, and in addition to the variety of souvenirs, jewelry, and keepsakes, their cafe has a wonderful variety of entrees...both standard and local items...great portion sizes and very reasonably priced! Being a foodie myself, I will have to say that Coral Kingdom serves the BEST Huli Huli Chicken on the planet! Now, Huli Huli means to turn repeatedly...so this is rotisserie-style chicken cooked over local kiawe wood...which is Hawaiian mesquite. Hawaii specializes in this type of chicken...and Ive had it on 4 Hawaiian islands, at numerous places...and these guys are the best.
Beautiful coral jewelry but creepy staff. They made feel like a thief just looking at stuff.
The food at the coral was amazing, good food portions, ihad the loco Moco!!!
Their famous shrimp plate is pretty bland. The cashiers was rude when trying to exchange the raspberry tea for coke. (The tea tasted very weird) Id just taken a sip out of it and she didnt want to??! Most restaurant exchange any fountain drink with no problem but not these guys. She wanted to charge me for another coke & she made such a big fuss over it. Also the restaurant is so old. If you smack the chairs soo much dust come out. I didnt like this place. The bbq chicken plate was kinda decent.
Food was mediocre and overpriced. What disturbed me was they had a cat in a small trap out back, trying desperately to escape, which I noticed as our tour bus pulled away. I called and left a message inquiring but got no response. ???????
Great old school Hawaiian feel loved the food
Good food and nice scenery...
Love this souvenir shop!
Great food. Jewelry and gifts seemed expensive
Tourist trap. High pressure sales from the short gypse woman.
Lots 2 look at, very pricey and pushy sales people.
Good prices, personable people.
Shell collection Awesome
Nice and excessive. They cater a lot to the tourist.
Very attractive and articulate.
Over priced you can find the same items at the marketplace
Great place for tourists.
Beautiful souvenirs for the entire family
Products and goods sale there are not much interesting and its pricey . so just look around, the garden and fish pond are not so well maintained.
Not bad for the Hulihuli chicken
Way overpriced. Go to the Aloha Swap Meet instead.
Great selection and lovely staff
They are wayyyyyyyy over priced they charged me $150 for a conch shell that was selling for $50 at the aloha stadium swap meet
Loved the staff and the store
Super blah, nothing special. Tour buses stop here and its your only option.
Stopped here with a tour bus. Over priced, and food isnt that great (dont get the hamburger). If other options are available in are, I would take your chances and go elsewhere. Store has a funny / musty smell.
Japanese culture and extreme tourist pricing on everything.
Way to pricey. Generic items. Can find the same things at airport, other shops for cheaper.
