My wife was happy they had what she was looking for. I did not go inside myself but I can say gentleman if you take your wife or girlfriend there the parking lot was rather quiet. I got a good nap in while I waited 😴

I love Ulta and have for years. There is someone always willing to help you and the variety of products is amazing. Recently got my eyebrows waxed and tinted and was done very nicely.

Ive gotten my hair done all over the country and this was by far my WORST experience. The stylist clearly did not know what she was doing and destroyed my hair. It was so bad that I just had to shave it all off to make it look better. I do not recommend and will definitely not be back.

I had an appointment for a Hair cut & the stylist I had did an amazing job. She took her time and made sure I had the style I wanted in the end. Im always welcomed when I walk through the door. I will definitely go back and Im even considering looking at some cosmetology items next time.

I had the best experience over the Xmas holidays! I was helped by the best associate, Willimina, who made my visit a breeze. I was super overwhelmed with last minute shopping. I let Willimina know what I was looking for and her product knowledge blew me away. She helped put me on to my new favorite skin care regime. She was super helpful and I really appreciate the time she dedicated in helping me get lovely presents for the ladies in my life. Thank for amazing service!

The ladies here are so nice. I dont have much experience with makeup and the lady behind the counter even offered to help me find a cheaper brand of a brush I wanted at a third of the price and gave me suggestions on things. Great customer service and knowledgeable employees 👍

I went and had my hair done at The Salon at Ulta last night, and it turned out wonderfully. My stylist was Lexi at the salon. She took her time and did an exceptional job with highlights and covering grays as well as a block of auburn that I wanted to get rid of. I also got a haircut which she did exceptional on as well. She trimmed my ends and thinned out my very thick hair. Ive had a really hard time finding someone I trust with my hair, so to say Lexi is exceptional is something I take very seriously. If youre looking for a new stylist who will take care of your hair and give you the style you ask for, book an appointment!

The staff at this store are so nice! My 3 year old daughter had a blast testing all the testers, and the staff there is always so great interacting with her. The layout of the store is awesome. Love having an Ulta on this side of town! I always check their website for reviews on products before buying, but if for some reason you dont like what you purchased, you can return it with no issues.

Very large and cleanly. I went in after a yoga class and nobody seemed interested in helping me but they were on top of helping everyone else. I did eventually have someone ask if I needed help. Check out went quickly.

HOLY expensive! The store is not laid out in a way to easily find things and they move them around all the time. You are always bumping shelves and displays and sales are never what they say they are.

We came here a while back for my wife to have her makeup done for our wedding. She did not like the finished product at all, and we paid over $100 for it. Im giving 4 stars, however, because they did refund us.

Went here for the first time several days ago and when I walked in the 2 greeters at the door completely ignored me. Minutes later, a white woman walked in and received a warm welcome. It made me pay attention to who was greeted and who wasn’t and only the white patrons were greeted with a welcome. The black shoppers were ignored. Except while shopping! I was browsing through the MAC section and one of the greeters who ignored me as I walked in started following me to ask if I needed help. Racial profiling is very bad for business and I think this store could use some training on how to treat all customers regardless of personal bias. I had a lot of money to spend but walked out only buying 1 lipstick because I was so turned off by the treatment. I’ll never shop at this location again and plan on sharing my experience with anyone who will listen.

My husband and i booked hair cuts. Weve struggled find some one who could work with his colic. So hes usally disappointed with his. Well we seen Ashley, she did great with his hair and mine. She kept nice conversations. Wasnt bothered we had our babies with.

I am so thankful for this team at the Maple Hill store in Kalamazoo who exchanged my hair product and recommended an alternative which I now love. Great service, knowledgeable staff, and they were so kind.

Went their yesterday to get a deep conditioning in the hair salon, their was two stylists and one was only occupied. They do walk ins and the manager I believe had me schedule an appointment when it could have got done yesterday.

Its was ok. As a Male I wasnt amazed at anything besides the amount of products they carry. Very good selection of everything for a lady. It would be nice to see a beauty store try to carry high end fragrances, they only had the average designer scents. Very limited for males.

Store is very organized, easy to find exactly what youre looking for. The employees are nice and extremely helpful if you have any questions. Overall a great experience!

They make themselves known and available, but dont hover or try to pressure you into a purchase. And the selection of quality items is outstanding. If we dont asked for the freegift (as the brands information, if we buy their product at certain amounts price, we will get freegift) the cashier wouldnt give the free gift, so better remember the promotion information. The store is clean and well organized. The brand variations is wonderful.

We had Rebecca LaRue do my daughters hair twice, she did the most amazing job both times! She did hair and make up and up dos both times. I can’t tell you how much of a great job she did and is so pleasant that talk with. She actually listens to what you want done! Highly recommended!

Convenient location however I try to avoid it based on my experiences. Ashelee has helped me more than a few times and not once during checkout has she been pleasant, helpful or does she even thank me for my business. The staff is preoccupied and rarely makes the effort to greet customers.I mistakenly chose a sample product to purchase today and Ashelee asked if I wanted to grab another during checkout- I stated I couldn’t remember where I picked it out from and she sat it on the back counter and didn’t offer another staff or offer to assist to find it. - I will not return.On the flip side the Portage location has been nothing but pleasant and courteous- I don’t mind the drive for the service- it’s worth it. Thank you Potage staff!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, but I was really confused when an employee informed me this branch does not carry Lancome products. I was told it was to differentiate from the Ulta in Portage, but it doesnt make sense to me to not carry all brands available at Ulta at all of its locations. I live right by this one and was really excited but now that I cant get my foundation here, I will probably just purchase it online.

Well i will say this place is like a paradise for women so much make up over here 😊 my wifes favourite place to shop now . One can not go with out apprrciating the variety of make up they have. Many beautiful brands for beauty. The place had good customer service and they were really supportaive and approaching.

I live closer to this location but recommend the Portage location. The staff there are more knowledgeable and friendly.

I was referred by a friend to come to Ulta. I made the appointment, same day, so I was excited. I was a bit nervous as it is difficult to spend so much money on hair. I usually do my own and until recently, I did ok. I got to the store 10 minutes early. After 3 hours of sitting, I couldnt believe how long this was taking. Little did I know I would be another hour and a half. I was cranky, tired and hungry. (Being there that long I wondered if there was a snack or pop machine in the store...no.) we rinsed my hair and blew it just dry enough to check the color. I just wanted to be home so I didnt want it styled. I was thrown off by how expensive your prices are but it needed to be done. I got home and walked in the door and told my guy not to look yet that I had to finish it before he could see it...I finished drying it, then flat ironed it AND OMG!!!MY HAIR LOOKED AMAZING!!!I posted a picture on Facebook and people are going crazy over it! Vanessa was so professional even when I was not being very nice! She explained everything and when I saw the end results, the world was right again! No more hats!She did exactly what i asked...i am a Bridal Consultant and i need to look like a professional.Mission accomplished! So all the time and uneasy feelings were instantly gone and it was so worth it!Thank you Vanessa, you got me!

The Ulta store on west main, is TERIBBLE. The staff are unwilling to help, you cannot ask ANY questions, they are beyond rude and discouraging.My mother who hasn’t wore a lick of makeup, EVER.Was talked down, and talked to as if she was stupid when asking an employer for the price of the Jaclyn hill palettes. The store is messy, and unorganized. Beyond disapointed. I will never step foot in this horrible store again.

DO NOT LET HANNAH JOHNSON TOUCH YOUR HAIR!! she completely ruined my hair! I showed her a picture of a brown/blonde balayage and 3 hours later I had fried bleached blonde hair. I take very good care of my hair so Im devastated. She painted foils for my balayage, but for some reason decided to just bleach everything. She never apologized or anything. She then tried fixing it but made my hair a blotchy brown on top of the bleached mess. Then since I spent 6 hours in her chair decided not to even dry or style my hair, just sent me home looking like a wet dog. I expected better with it being ulta, I expected the best, but sadly disapointed. Seriously go somewhere else, anywhere else!!

I unfortunately went there for haircut. The stor was empty so I did not need to schedule an appointment. As a weman wearing Hijab, I asked for some privacy ( there was a good place inside we can use) The girl who will cut my hair welcomed my request, but Ashely (who seems to be the manager there) disagree and did not allow us to go inside while there was a women doing her eyebrow threading inside!!!! Ashly even wasnt looking at my face nor smiling to me !!! Every one was friendly and smiling except Ashley. Her body language makes me feel that I am not welcoming there! Is this how the manager must act to make the business success?? I dont think so.The girl who cut my hair was very nice. My haircut was very normal. It wasnt bad but there wasnt any expert touch!!. She even did not devided it to cut every layer seperately as usual!! She cut it very quickly it takes about 2 minuts only!! I wish I cut it by myself at home and save the 40$. I waill NEVER recommend this place as hair salon.
