I found a Jeep I liked at one of the other Ziegler locations and Virginia had it brought to Kalamazoo within a few hours for me to test drive. Went to get my oil changed. Service desk was unmanned when I got there, which is understandable, but three employees walked past behind it and never asked if I had been served.The customer service guy finished with another customer, returned to the counter and told me I needed to drive around to the oil change express door and sign in there.Could have saved time if I had known or someone else would have directed me there instead of ignoring me.Apparently customer service is only the customer service guys job.I know the rules now and wont make the same mistake again.On the upside, it seems the service was completed properly although it took 45 minutes.

The got totally engrossed with an article in one of the assortment of upper class magazines, and cup of hot Coffee Zeigler provides for comfort while waiting in their immaculately clean, and cozy, feel of home, waiting room.They texted me to see if I was comfortable and whether I needed anything while waiting. Quick service drive up was great today. ( Thursday am) I pulled up and was next in line. Went in to wait. They had tables and chairs set up a safe distance from others. Within 30 minutes my car was brought back to me washed and ready to go!

Caution. The car was fairly priced, the sale was fairly easy. Opted for the additional protection with the zguard package, it was not completed at pickup. I had to really push to have it redone and it eventually was. The difference was night and day so I dont understand why it was not caught before pickup. Per purchase agreement the mirror was supposed to be replaced as it had a crack in the plastic. I was told there would be a whole new mirror and then told they would just replace the broken part. The mirror appears repaired however there is still a small broken plastic piece. It would not have been as upsetting had they been up front about this repair, instead it seemed like a hope the customer doesnt notice situation. Other repair was completed fully and the car did get the ceramic coating eventually but it was not the best new car experience I have ever had and I feel leery of any services done there.

The customer service is terrible. They refuse to negotiate cause they believe that their pricing is the best of the best. I was in the middle of trying to purchase a vehicle and needed information to get over to my bank for my loan and it never happened. I couldn’t get ahold of anyone. The front desk person was rude and continued to transfer me to a voicemail knowing the person was working with customers and my situation was emergency. They include NOTHING they charge you for every single performance they perform on your car before you get it. I will never use them again and I will never recommend anyone waste their time. They act like you are not valuable as a customer and if you don’t buy it someone else will attitude.

Tyler, Jeff & Brandon... the hardworking trio: Tyler was my main guy, Jeff always had the numbers and Brandon came in clutch whenever needed! I couldn’t have come in contact with better car sales professionals if I wanted to! Buying a vehicle doesn’t have to make you leery or uneasy, and with them they will ensure it doesn’t! I ask a lot of questions, had very specific wants and changed my mind on which model half way through the process and then again on the home stretch... but it was necessary to ensure I was covering my needs and wants and they were right there to ebb and flow with those decisions, with kind -positive attitudes! I will say, I decided early on, that if they were willing to work then I was willing to stay committed to their efforts and dealership! Well... that commitment came in handy because my buying process was a marathon, two months in fact, due to uncontrollable circumstances (and my unwillingness to bend on my wants & decision changes) BUT I say that because through the entire process I was being communicated with, helped, and fed (if you’re lucky you may be treated to Jets too! Thanks, again!!). Let’s just say- I would do this process over and over if it includes people like them. It was a pleasure, truly!

I went to Cole Krum in Schoolcraft and kept getting the run around. So I checked on a vehicle at Zeigler. Virginia is who I worked with and let me begin by telling you, she is awesome! So sweet, full of energy and laughter and never once made me feel like she was trying to sell me something I couldn’t afford. She got me into a great vehicle in a very short amount of time. I got no run around at all! Went up at like 2 in the afternoon, left around 4 and came and picked up my car the next day. She has been checking up on me and has the best customer service. She got me an awesome 2017 SUV at an affordable price and worked with the every step of the way. I always have been really weird about dealers because I work in warranty and I feel most dealers just want that sale and will say anything but afterwards they just don’t care, tough luck kinda thing. But Virginia is amazing and I highly recommend her!!

Very bad exprience. I followed the dealer (will not write his name) for almost 2 and half weeks for a crv. Took appointment for sunday as per discussion and confirmed with him, And when I confirmed again on sunday before starting, he told me that, we not open on sunday. This dealership displays awesome prices on their website to draw customers, unfortunately they are fake! I was looking at a vehicle that they subtracted a dealer discount to the MSRP and then subtracted an additional employee pricing rebate incentive to the vehicle lowering the cost essentially $16k below the MSRP. I had a hard time believing this so I got in contact with the dealership and they informed that the discount and rebate DONT stack and you would only qualify for one or the other, which contradicts the website final price that included BOTH! These lies are why people dont like car dealerships. Just be HONEST with people and give your TRUE price, people would appreciate that!

I called ahead to see if they had express service open - was assured I could get an oil change quickly. On arrival was greeted somewhat curtly, and when I gave my address as Philadelphia was told I should just take my car there for service. I let him know I was in town and wanted an oil change as my service light was on. I felt as if I was inconveniencing this man. Was told it would be 30-45 minutes. After 90 minutes I asked how things were going - never received a call or text saying car was ready. Car apparently had been done for a while. Customer service and communication definitely not up to expectations.

I have been a customer for decades. The staff is great but the lack of following the Covid19 protocols as set forth by the health department made me extremely uncomfortable. I wont be going back. Ill be trading my car in before I need another oil change and I wont be doing so there. The clear message was they dont take the virus seriously and, as a health care professional of 40+ years, I dont appreciate it.

TERRIBLE customer service this morning! We recently received a recall on our Lincoln MKZ, when calling to schedule a time to have the recall looked at and an oil change the FIRST attempt I was was placed on hold for just under five minutes and as I was checking the phone to see how long was placed on hold the gal picked back up and said that there was nobody at the service desk and could put the call into voicemail. No big deal. At that time understanding this things happen thought it best to try dealership X where I bought the car and have always had great service. Very easily reached Chris at dealership X, that unfortunately wasn’t a Lincoln dealership, did everything possible to take care of the recall and oil change, including getting me in touch with their Lincoln dealership, unfortunately in Coldwater. Being in Kalamazoo and understanding that recalls are make and model dealership specific and trying to make it easy on everyone, as well as, throw some business to Ziegler, I thanked Chris for her help and tried again for a SECOND time back at HZL. As luck would have it the gal answered and stated that there was now someone at the service desk and put me through. When the call was picked up the unidentified male answering yelling into my ear about “yeah go ahead and order that part, etc.” yelling at someone across the room finishing his current conversation. Again. No problem. However, when it was time to discuss, the youngster on the other end was short when I simply asked him about the recall and an oil change while I was there for the recall, maybe. It was, what we in the business call an easy phone call for him, as he blew me off and said “yeah you need to call back next week” regarding recall and told me to call back on Monday. “Bill is the one that schedules these types of appointments ” and couldn’t end the call fast enough. No offer of let me take your information and we’ll save you the trouble of a THIRD attempt to do business with us or any attempt at accommodating or willingness to resolve this small request. We typically do not share these types of experiences and understand that sometimes service falls well short of one’s expectations, but just thought that potential HZL customers would want to know. Also, we figured that the good people at Harold Ziegler Lincoln during these challenging and competitive times would find this feedback useful, as well.

I had to take my mercury in for the airbag recall that was announced last spring. I was told Monday 930am and when I showed they took my keys and had me sign and not 5 minutes later, I get a call. They had me down as Tuesday and it didnt matter as this particular model year was a 4hr job (the dash has to come out). So they need to do Wednesday. Wednesday was my day off and I need a vehicle to run errands, some out of town. I was told shouldnt be a problem for the inconvenience. They gave me a nice car on Wednesday but apparently no one left a note about it. They apologized for not having it warm because they didnt know. I picked it up much later that day. Full disclosure I have 2 kids and I spend plenty of time driving around. The floor and car are usually a mess. Which makes it dumber that they put the trash from my passenger side on my back seat and everything thing from my glovebox on the floor. If they had communicated with me that the glovebox need emptied I would have gladly done it. For the love of money put my important papers in the seat and leave trash on the floor! Dont get me started on George the Lincoln Ford mercury service manager. He sends out poorly worded letters instead of returning phone calls but will call to request the mileage. The only reason i gave a 3 is everyone else was very nice and helpful.

Have an appointment for service tomorrow morning at 8am. I called the facility at 7:45pm the night previous.they close at 8pm. I only wanted to find out if I could drop my car off outside of operating hours - do to unexpected work obligations in the morning - or be able to get a ride to work. The receptionist answered the phone and transferred me to the service department - I only got a voice mail. I hung up and called back to try to ask the receptionist this simple question. It is now 7:46pm. Well now no answer at all.. so needless to say I wont make my appointment tomorrow as I don’t know if I will be able to get to work. Very disappointing- I was only attempting to ask a simple question - I don’t think I would have kept them past there out time - but I guess the excellent customer service only applies while buying the car - after bought good luck. I was also told they don’t do shuttle service when I made the appointment because I didn’t purchase my dodge vehicle from them.. I bought my last one from them. I guess that didn’t matter..

My 2008 MKZ has a recall. Made appoint no problem. Upon arrival I stopped at 3 spots within dealership trying to figure out where Lincoln service is. Spent time I dont, and Im sure employees dont want to deal with customers complaining. Apparently employees have complained FOR YEARS about this very thing.Of note, the service employees wearing masks. Thank you & I appreciate you for doing so. To the sales people and others who around the show room, not one is wearing a mask.

Mixed reaction, initial purchase and paperwork, staff were very friendly and eager. However whilst trying to get all the details of the deal taken care of afterwards I noticed a drop in customer care and felt quite forgotten.
