Very pleasant and professional. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of a computer issue. I made an online appointment and their system had me on a different date than my email confirmation. I had to wait a little longer, but their service was great. Very friendly at the front desk. If you need to make an appointment I recommend calling and not using the online system.

So yesterday my vehicle started acting funny and the check engine light came on. I was afraid the car was going to die on me so I search google for the closes Auto repair shop, so I contacted Midas. I spoke with Mike the shop manager. He was very professional. He told me to bring it in for a diagnostic test. Once I got there he was welcoming and friendly. He told me that he should be able to get my car done by tomorrow. The next morning I received a call from Brian going over the results from the diagnostic test. He was very professional as well. The crew was busy so he personally finished the work on my car. I am glad that I made the call to Midas I received professional staff and great service. Overall, I would recommend Midas to my coworkers and family. Thank you Midas!!

My car broke down and after calling 3 other shops who were booked up til the next week I called Midas and they were very friendly on the phone and they had availability. A relief. The staff was super welcoming and friendly. Mike was very nice. They found it was my alternator and after figuring that out they did a few more checks to make sure it wasnt something else that caused the alternator to malfunction before putting in a new one. Very fast service. My car back on the road in no time. Im very glad others shops were booked up, I will definitely be using Midas from now on.

Took my car here to get an engine light checked out. They were fair and honest about the fact they were not comfortable fixing my car because too many codes were coming through on the computer. They referred me to the dealer and then didn’t even charge me the money they quoted for the diagnostic. On top of that the manager was incredibly nice and even let me leave my car in their lot overnight before I got it towed.

Mike, the manager was very personable and friendly. Always feel this Midas store is being honest with me about needed repairs. Had this location repair various issues like brakes and cooling system. The last time they did a quick check and tightened original equipment rattling exhaust heat shield and didn’t charge

Brian and crew did a great job at diagnosing my Check Engine light. Was very professional in all communication and did a great job at breaking down the complex nature of my issue in a way that didn’t make me feel confused. I took my 2013 Ford Escape into this Midas at the beginning of April to get my air conditioning fixed. After three more visits and a total of almost $200, I was told that they could not repair it. I would have to take it to a Ford dealership. I wish they would have told me this after the second time I brought it in. It is not just the money, but it is my personal time that I wasted waiting for the repair. They also changed my oil during this time and the dust pan came loose from under the motor. My husband put it back on with zip ties. I will not be returning to this Midas.

Midas got this repaired for me and an oil change as well, price was great and staff was nice and professional. Ill definitely return for any future car issues I may run into!

Brian and the rest of the crew at Midas on Gull Rd have done such great work on our car. They always get our car in right away and they do such great work. I really appreciated the updates as they worked on my car. I also appreciate that they dont push other repairs on me like a lot of other places have done.

We had just started a weekend road trip from Lansing, MI to Plymouth MN, when our truck started experiencing an engine a voltage drop. After checking the battery and alternator at a local auto parts shop, it was thought to be a bad alternator. I asked the shop who nearby could install a new alternator for us, and was pointed to the Midas shop just a few doors down.After a complete diagnostic on our truck a replacement was ordered and install (upon testing the first alternator, it was defective and had to be returned). Once a good alternator was in place, further testing revealed that the PCM was in fact defective. Mike, the Shop Manager explained that his team could not program a new PCM, and advised that we would need to have a dealership replace the unit and program it.At that point we knew we would not be able to complete our trip to Minnesota. We arranged for a family member to travel 90 miles to get us back home, and Mike allowed us to leave our truck and trailer on the Midas lot overnight.Mike was clear and straight with everything going on with our truck as it happened, and his experience was invaluable in helping us resolve our issues. Prior to this interaction, I never thought of Midas as an option for routine or emergency repair service. Moving forward I will certainly consider using Midas for any automotive needs.

I went to Midas for brake pads on my 2008 Nitro and got ignored the whole time I was there today around 2pm. First impression is everything and Midas employees failed today.

Called their competition and they wouldnt tell me if they could get me in. All theyd say is Id have to drop the car off and theyd get to it. Midas says, yeah, we can get you in. Bring it down and we should be about an hour. They were quicker than an hour and they did a great job. Ill for sure recommend and for sure go back.

I have been taking my vehicles to the Midas on Gull Rd in Kalamazoo for 4 years now. Every time Ive requested an appointment, talked with staff, and even picked up my vehicle and paid the bill, I have ALWAYS been treated with respect. I feel like the staff listens and they use their expertise to perform the work requested. If additional services is required they call me to talk through the issue and their recommendations. Their prices are reasonable and the service is very timely. Great job guys!

Need to see how the work performs before I assign 5 stars, but..... the experience, so far, was pleasant, responsive, fair. Called them, initially, when I was a bit rushed to have an assessment of new, loud muffler system noise. Needed the car back as soon as possible. Though they were pretty much booked, they asked if I could drop the car off and they could at least get a look for what would be needed. Before I even left, while dropping the car off, I was offered a chance to look at the muffler system while they were putting it up on the hoist. I didnt need a muffler and tailpipe assembly, as recommended by another repair business, I was offered a repair of a failed joint in the piping. I appreciate being offered the option, by a company that specialized in muffler system work; different than a repair shop that probably didnt work much on my type vehicle, or didnt know there were viable options. Folks at Midas were very congenial, upbeat and helpful. MAYBE it cost a bit more than a budget shop or other, general car repair shop, but Im comfortable I got the correct repair, and timely.

I came into Midas because my trans axle broke on my 2004 Honda Accord. Josh got my car the next day and the repair cost was much lower than expected. They don’t push unecessary repairs. These guys are honest and have served the Kalamazoo area for over 50 years. I highly recommend this Midas store.

I had a light burnt out on my Altima, it was either a fig or running light. It took forever to fix. I waited down the street at BigBs--they were nice & said a lot of Midas customers wait there. It took over 2 hours, rediculous.

Went to the shop for exhaust leaks staff was very friendly and knowledgeable they actually show you what the issue is and have very fair pricing. They had my car done in a couple hours had to bring it back the next day because it was still leaking in 1 area again they tested it and found the remaining leak and fixed it to my satisfaction. Went for a muffler repair estimate. Was quoted over double what another shop quoted. Went to pickup my vehicle, just asked for my vehicle back. Poor shop manager must have been having a bad day, very unprofessional. Did not intend to come back, but was told not to. Shop can not be trusted, I can understand over quoting by $40 but double another shops quote is highly unacceptable. Cant trust this shop wanted to sell me a bunch of repairs that I did not ask for including something that is covered by a recall.

Repair was done well and quickly, but not inexpensively. Make sure you review the paperwork before you sign, I trusted what I was told, only to find out the verbal quote was without tax and shop fees. If they would have just quoted me the total, I would have given more stars.....

Terrible - The new management almost double their prices and never tell you until you pick up the vehicle. After almost five years experience you build up trust...then they violate it. BUYER BEWARE and look very carefully at what you sign - they are after your gold!

I brought my car in because of a rubbing noise that the dealer could not find after having my car all day. The guys at Midas got under there and found the problem in 20 minutes, fixed it and charged me NOTHING! Great job guys...i will be back!

I was reconmended to this place by Discount Tire to get a front end alinement. They quoted 89.00. After keeping my car for 2 hours I wentback and was told the rack and pinion was bad also tie rods it would be 1100.00.Car has only 80,000 I thought that a little fishy. I took it to a privatelyowned shop in Battle Creek to get a 2nd. Guess what nothing at allwrong with my front end. They took a pic, one small leak in the rackall they had to do is tighten a nut to fix. Power steering fluid was not low.Tie rod ends were worn to 80,000 miles, careful driving good for another60,000. Kids dont know what they are doing so lets just replace a bunch of stuff, not my money. The bad thing is if I were not on vacationand had extra time I wold have told Midas to do what ever they needed.After this happened I called some others who had complained about thisplace. Same story they dont know whats wrong so lets just replace abunch of stuff. I pretty sure these are franchises so dont judge all Midas on this. I would not trust this one though.

If I could rate negative I would they have had my boyfriends vehicle for almost 2 days for a knocking noise. We spoke with Josh the manager and he was very rude. He over talked us yelled at us and sold us a part that said would take care of the noise. It did not take care of the noise he also said that bolts were missing that it had been in a front end accident and that the battery was loose. My boyfriend is anal on his vehicles and the battery was not loose when we got the vehicle we got the Carfax and there was no accident reported with it. Never had so much trouble with a repair company would not recommend to anyone

Went into Midas to get my AC diagnosed ($75 advertised price). What I thought would take a few hours and a re-charge ended up taking 4 days and me calling everyday to get the update of uhh dunno yet and not sure on the 4th day they said they are pretty sure they have to rip out the dash and thatd be $600 and only one guy can do it. At this point I decided to pick it up and take it to the Dealership. They never once called and ask permission to go further than the diagnostic or change parts, they charged me $380 (without a diagnosis) but I should be thankful they didnt charge me for all the time they spent on it or Id be broke, so I took it to Henkel and within 30minutes they called and said the sensor was just unplugged and nothing was actually wrong but they did have to drain the freon because it had been way over filled. Charge $90 for labor.

I found a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation at Midas for 21.99 in my mailbox and decided to give them a try, and I was very happy I did. I was about to go on a road trip down south and needed my oil changed terribly, so i called and set up a time to have it done same day. Once i got there they checked me in and my car was up on a lift minutes later. that they do an oil change for so cheap already,then they did a tire rotation and looked at my brakes which brings me to why i was so happy i brought it them. The guy at the counter took me out into the shop to show me my brakes, or what was left of them! My brake pads were completely worn out and about to start grinding my rotors! They saved me alot of heartache having to deal with all that while on my road trip, and saved me alot of money on parts by catching it before it had caused more damage. Overall it took them about an hour to change my oil,rotate my tires, change my front brake pads and do a complete inspection of my car.I was at bigbys for most of it, which is right next door,then they called me when they were done! I felt alot safer on the road after I went there, so Midas, get used to me because Ill be back! Oh and they had free wifi

Went in 45 minutes before close for a simple tire exchange, told me that since he already put the tools away I would have to wait until Tuesday to get helped.

I was driving on I-94 returning to Illinois when my car started shaking. Midas was able to take a look at my car right away on a busy Saturday afternoon and determine the problem. My rear tire was split but unfortunately they did not have a replacement available so they referred me to another store. They were very friendly, helpful and concerned that I make it home safely. I am so appreciative of their trustworthy, friendly and prompt assistance.
