Joe is a great mechanic and knows his stuff. I had a lot of major work done on my avalanche and now it is good for another 100k. He explained everything well and made sure I understood what was wrong anf what it would take to get it fixed. One question I ask is whether a mechanic is out for the 1 time ripoff or if he is to become my mechanic; and Joe is definitely now my go to mechanic.

PT Cruiser with no start. Figured it was timing belt. Joe confirmed and called to explain what car needed and expected total price. He treated me well, didnt talk down to me, and the price was fair. Have car back with no issues. Will continue to use this shop and will recommend to anyone. Many shops wont tackle this kind of problem - they do. Thanks much.

I own a Ford F-250 super duty diesel. I needed an oil change and had a small issue with the vacuum lines (air system). Went to see Joseph and I couldnt be happier. He explained everything in detail so I understood fully what my issues were. Not only did he get me in and out in a few hours, he went out of his way to save me some money! I visited this shop because of a referral from a family friend. She too has had great experiences with Joseph. He was very knowledgable and willing to whatever he could to help. I will most definitely be bringing all my vehicles to him from now on as well as encouraging anyone I know that has an auto issue to go see them. Great work at a very fair price! Best around.

Guy fixed added nuts to the screws of my bike seat, which had come undone. Two nuts may not seem like much, but I had been to two different stores prior and neither carried nuts that were big enough. Literally save me from having to bike back in town. Its also nice that I didnt have purchase an entire package somewhere when I only needed a set of two.

I was not a regular customer and called at 3:30 on a Friday with a locked up break. I asked if there was any chance they could fit me in (several places had already told me they could see me the end of next week). Joe (the owner) was very nice and said to come right over. They got me in right away and I was out the door again by 5pm (they needed to have a part delivered). Great service, great people. They do all types of mechanical work. In mid-December, I took my car in for jerky steering and a funny sound. I told them it sounded exactly like a bearing went out. I also had a small coolant leak that I wasnt immediately worried about. Well, they replaced my tie rod ends and my water pump. This cost me over a thousand dollars. I had to cancel my christmas plans and couldnt afford gifts for my family.Less than a week later, the jerking and the noise came back. I told them it was still doing it and that it sounds just like a bearing. Well this time they cant figure it out. I told them it sounds like a bearing. They still cant figure it out. They needed to keep it for almost ten days before they decided it was the steering fluid cylinder and theyd have to replace the whole steering rack. Their estimate was nine hundred. I bought my own part and they charged me just four hundred to install. Plus seventy bucks worth of power steering fluid which is ridiculously marked up.Well, not even another week goes by and the jerking and noise come back. At this point Im pretty livid. I took it to Muffler Man, who agreed it was the bearing and fixed it for two hundred plus the cost of the part (ninety bucks at Advanced).That was January and it hasnt shaken, jerked, or made bearing noise since.But my new water pump failed today.Forget Autotech. Theyre either very dishonest or very, very bad mechanics. Either is inexcusable. Dont go there, put them out of business.

I have used Auto Tech for years and Joe, the new owner is truly out to help people! He treats it like he owns it. Even if you have your ideas on how something should be fixed, trust me, his opinion is right and do it right, do it once is very true! I just learnt this lesson...he fixed it my way first (didnt work), then we fixed it his way..then I got to go home!As a woman, I would recommend him because he helps, explains and doesnt treat you like an idiot!Thank you Joe!!
