Greg was a great guy, bought pizza for my kids and I while we were waiting for my car to get fixed. Offered to go next door to the gas station for drinks. BUT, Iβm glad I waited to post my review. I originally took my car in to have it fixed. They deemed my car unsafe (which, why would they even sell it like it was, I only had it two months). He upgraded me, which was fantastic. At the time he said my payments would only go up $20/week. When it came time for me to make my first payment, my new payment was in fact $40 higher. Had I have been told that, I would have asked for something else because I CANNOT afford that big of a difference. So now I am stuck with a huge car payment that Iβm going to struggle to pay. Were they good people? Yes, they were very wonderful. Do I recommend them, not really. What was supposed to be $400/month payment is now $480 payment.
Iβm very pleased with my vehicle and customer services, never had any issues with my car during my leasing period, and always had prompt responses when I had a question or concern.π

I bought my vehicle in Battle Creek in 2009 I was told that as long as I have my vehicle I get free oil change. Now Im told because I bought my vehicle from motor zone they will no longer honor the free oil change. They changed the name of the business but they are still the WORST Place to purchase a vehicle. Their cars die as SOON as you drve them off the lot. When I came in for my Last Free oil change, ALL I Heard was complaints from customers about everything. DONT PURCHASE a vehicle from here unless you want to pay 4 JUNK!!!!!

Some people pay there car notes on time faithfully. I have to have my car fixed again in a 1 1/2 month time frame. I had it towed from my job in Vicksburg on 11/11/200 Happy Veterans day. My car will probably be done Monday or Tuesday 11/16/2020. There are no loaner and they wont reimburse my rental. Not happy π

We paid off our SUV rite before the lock down and at first I was told they miss filled our key and it would be mailed to us. A week later still no key π‘I call them again, got transferred 3 times and no one knows where the spare key is . they tell me we already got it which is BS cause we got 1 and they kept one. Now Im being told I gotta go to a dealership and order a new π π‘ if they cant fill stuff correct then they shouldnt keep a spare key then.. Never buy anything from express . I had an do a oil change and they gave it back with no oil . they suck and have no clue what they are doing .

They are relentless and unyielding. For almosy 3 years I had been paying my bill on time, yet as soon as I have an accident and ask for patients while they wait for the insurance check to pay the rest of the bill they act as if Im the worst customer. Today I had a man by the name of Anthony send my wife and I 3 emails in the span of 10 minutes and left a voicemail. When I called back he used an inappropriate and very curt tone will me, then got even more of an attitude and blamed me for misinterpreting his tone because I was frustrated that I couldnt make my payment. I have spent several years in management, and know that this is not how you treat a customer. I will never get another vehicle through them and strongly suggest that no one else does either, unless you want to be mistreated as a customer and strong armed into getting another vehicle through them if you have an accident.

I would not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from express auto they are a complete rip off! I Purchased a 2010 Dodge Journey that was sold to me with a crack frame. Within the 3 years the vehicle was in my possession it spend a year and a half In express autoβs service shop Needing a transmission and a Engine on TWO different occasions. I was not put into a loaner vehicle for my inconvenience and was still held accountable for my car note although I was not able to drive it for over a year. Once I finally had enough I traded the vehicle in at another dealership. During my car Search search Express Auto gave me an incorrect payoff amount told me that I was lying about the payoff information that I had received and still has failed to send me the correct payoff documents after I requested the documents multiple times. The head finance manager Patty Stuart has been no help to me with dealing with this situation at all in fact sheβs been very rude declined my calls and even hung up in my face. So please save yourself the time and money and shop else where. You wonβt be happy with the decision you made with going to Express Auto in the long run seeing that I am still being charged for a salvaged vehicle and no one will give me the information needed to get the problem resolved!
Bought a 2009 ford flex from them, less then a week a timing solenoid went out pouring oil all over. They refused to fix that so that coast me 800 out of my own pocket. Then less then a month after that my seal around the fuel pump went out allowing fumes to come into the car with is not very safe especially with a child, they refused to fix that. Then had issues with the awd the refuse to fix that wont give a loaner and basically state if I lose my job because I cant get to work while they see if they can fit my car in for another look its my problem. No loaner cars and totally and go screw the customer kind of experience. Sales team had no follow up and excuses after excuses when I reached out to them hoping they could help. Was promised calls from manager and never received any. RUN RUN AS FAR AND AS FAST AS YOU CAN THEY WILL PUT YOU THREW A SCAM.
Well finally after a month of trying to get my oil changed with them I have to sit in waiting room with another customer who must have no respect for others. He smelled as if he had just finished smoking his weed. So glad I can have fresh air now. It was definitely making me sick.
Each time they have had the car for repairs -- and there have been about 20 things fixed over the last year -- they have had the car for 2 weeks. The most recent repair did not begin although it has been paid for and has been with them for over 2 weeks and was finally returned after over a month of having it. Now they are trying to collect more than the warranty amount because the car has had so many problems! It has been in the shop multiple times a month sometimes and almost monthly since I bought it. Their mechanics dont know enough about cars to find whats wrong. They just fix something to get it out of the shop and charge me another $100, and Ill still have to come back for the original issue which they kept no records on. I tried to speak with the main supervisor and he stated that he would make sure things got done, and now hes no longer with the company and I cant get a hold of the new one. Ive tried to speak with my account manager, and when I call its a new one because the old one left. I just get problem after problem with the car, and the company doesnt care if the car is broken or unsafe as long as they get their payment. Terrible service. Do not go here!

Express Auto is a terrible dealership. They take advantage of people with bad credit, limited income, or individuals who are desperate to have a vehicle as soon as they can.I was paying $340 per month, for 3 years on a vehicle that was 14 years old, had over 100,000 miles, and within the first month had mechanical issues. I made a poor decision out of desperation because I didnβt think I could get approved any where else.Every experience I had with service was a terrible experience. I had to take my vehicle back in multiple times do to them not properly repairing the vehicle the initial time. I honestly didnβt even let them change the oil.The sales staff was kind but didnβt give me any follow up, and didnβt seem invested at all. I would also get calls every day that my payment was due, asking me why I hadnβt paid yet. Not a payment reminder, but basically a threat to repo the car if I didnβt pay by midnight. I usually paid after work on Fridays. I never missed a payment, yet, these ridiculous and constant calls continued for three years.Listen, I could go on forever about why you shouldnβt go to express auto for your vehicle purchase, but Iβll end it with this. Seek an actual car dealership first. They work with many lenders and chances are, they can get you approved. If they canβt, try to buy private party. If you canβt, take Uber. If you canβt afford that, take the bus. If you canβt afford that, ride a bike. Just please donβt go here.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Oh I got approved, Im not made about that. Im upset about their customer service too advantage of my situation and forged numbers I was not aware of until it was too late. Poor service pawn dealer. I had that car for less then 24 hrs but charged me 3 months worth and damaged my credit. Thank God Im past that but this is a warning to others. BuYER BEWARE, go anywhere else!

The sales people are amazing, along with the manager. However, the service department could seriously hire new mechanics. I have had multiple cars through here (because I cant get out from under them), and every car has problems. I just brought my second car in with transmission issues. And I had to take it to get it checked out at a different mechanics to figure out what was wrong with it, because they wouldnt look at the transmission, even though I asked them to look at. Hoping that they will get us into a new car that we can drive around safely

The salesman, Bobby, was wonderful at being forthright and informative about the purchasing process and was able to answer every question I had. He was very good at getting to know me and even guessed the car I would want before I told him! Very dishonest people. When I leave the van there they told me the payments would be $300 a month and no more but yet I end up paying 360 a month. I paid every two weeks having it drafted out of my husbands check on time. Then my husbands job is transferring out of town and they will not let us take the van with us at was making payments in US leasing it in our name. So we were turns van and then the lady harassed us for days. Number one we did not ask them to put just my husbands name on that vehicle because of the time my husband does not have a current drivers license only I did but they wouldnt deal with me. They wouldnt talk to me or do any kind of business with me. So if you ask me this place is got some sorry customer service and some very dishonest salesman. I would not recommend this place to purchase a vehicle. Because theyre very dishonest theyll tell you that your payment will be one thing and youll be paying much higher. And youre not free to take the vehicle even though you are paying on it so 6 months of payments was almost like I rented a car instead of leasing a car. So this lady began to harass us every single day even though we did return the van. I am the filing bankruptcy on them cuz no way am I paying a bunch of dishonest people and I will never take my business there again and I got a lot of family and friends looking for a car but I got a lot of car lots I would recommend to them way faster than I ever would Express Auto. Do not shop through them unless you looking to get screwed
Worst experience of my life.1. Told I had 3 days to return the car. Lie.2. Told that all repairs would be done after the car was inspected by a mechanic that I choose. This is a huge lie. I gave them a long list of all the problems my mechanic found including BAD ROTORS. I had to yell just to get the brakes replaced. Let alone the bad transmission.3. They have no problem transferring you to a line that doesnt pick up or is disconnected.4. The service center will report In process and give you no further details of anything. They spent 3 days to just put my car in for repair for the BRAKES.5. They will promise you a loaner/rental car that is free. They will not tell you its a $50 deposit or that they dont have any the entire time my car is in for service.Stay away from Brian Canning and Nikki, they are both complete assholes who dont care about the customer after the sale. Amad from Service will never call you back. Brittany from service will tell you shes calling Enterprise for a car rental and then transfer you to Nikki. Nikki will then lie and say that Brittany just called and they have no cars. Nikki will then tell you that Brittany never called after its only been 5 seconds. Nikki will finally say that Enterprise closed at 5pm.Nikki will promise to call you, she wont. Nothing will ever get fixed from a mechanic inspection form.

I do not go through this place they wanted to charged me 500 dollars a month for a piece of crap car. So looked else where. Anyway 2years later they call to see if I was still in the market. I stated its nothing against you but I will NEVER use your company nor would I have my worst enemy...she hung up on me . I called back and she kept hanging up on me. So I called privately and someone else answered told them what happened she put under my profile that I was rude and belligerent. No honey I was not! I was when I left the building after speaking your manager! Where you then stated behind my back, when I said to your face that its rude to hang up on people, just leave. Honey please you work for crooks sorry that your miserable about your job. So needless to say I have never went through them so if you are thinking about it please reconsider because if they treat non customers this way imagine how they will treat you when you are. Oh and by the way the car they tried to sell me it was a white 2006 Pontiac that had no four-way button, struts were going out, wheel bearing were horrible which the sales men at that time said oh I dont hear anything, the interior was jacked . So I took it to Muffler Man with the sales rep that day and they confirmed all that needed to be fixed and then some. So yeah Jaime(Found out her name) before you hang up on people check your facts! Another person driving around with expired plates due to Express Auto. They insisted we get our plate from them(red flag) and they would put a temporary one on our truck(which expired 3! days ago). New plate hasnt come in yet, and we cant issue temporary plates-their exact words. We have called them the last 3 days and they have ignored us. Just sat on hold for nearly 30 min. for them to tell us there was nothing they could do and would call us back ASAP. 45 min later and still no call from DAN. So now my fiance cant drive his truck to work and we cant drive the truck for the entire Easter weekend. I know this has happened to lots of people-how did you handle it?
This place is very unprofessional. I went in and Greg showed me a 2006 Dodge Stratus with 100000 miles on it and he wanted me to pay 360 a month for three years. Thats 11,000 total! I got in the car and it was literally filthy on the inside I am not making that up there was filth in the car floor. They didnt even want to show me anything else within my options. I honestly felt like they wanted to take advantage of me. Beware! This place is truly a scam.
Sales Staff is very kind and understanding BUT the service and the collections are very Unprofessional. I can honestly agree that they take advantage of the fact that the customers have less than perfect credit or just needing a car in time of desperation. Ive had my Ford Fusion for 4 months and had it serviced 3 times which also involved a new battery after having car 2 weeks. I had to put the battery put in somewhere else because the service department wanted $250 to fix it. I have sat in the lobby in service up to 2 hours to have an oil change, which is FREE with life of car. Just recently, I had a family emergency and had to leave town, I received a call from fiance saying I had to pay NOW.. I told her I was out of town and would be there Monday and she said if I didnt send a relative in by end of day the car would be repossessed. My payment was due on Friday and they wouldnt even wait until Monday to have the payment in. That to me was the deal breaker. I would discourage anyone to deal with Express. If you have credit issues, keep trying elsewhere. Businesses like this keep people in a revolving door. Good Luck!!
I would never tell anybody else to get a car from this place I have a 2008 Chevrolet trailblazer and only had it for 3 months been in Service 6 times one of them times in service it was there for almost 2 weeks!! engine light been on since i had !! Told them I donβt want the car I would like another one but no Iβm stuck with this truck and Iβm making payments my full payments,,as always payed on time . Now my truck wonβt start this the 7th probably I had and itβs 35 minutes away for me still sitting in a lot tomorrow would be day 4 !!! I would never ever tell anybody to get a car from there!! EVER !!!!
Do not go through this company they are liars & scam artist. They get you into any car possible and charge you this high payments and require you to pay every two weeks ! Very friendly when I entered the place. None of the cars have any prices, I kept asking for cars around a certain low amount and they were dodgy, they just kept saying you can have any car on the lot with the same monthly payments. Finally, they brought out a few cars that are in my price range for me to look at which I liked but all had high miles. When I went home and looked up the cars I found out that all of them are triple the blue book value. seems like a big rip off.

No stars!!! This place is awful! They refused my cash payment after I repeatedly told them I do not have a credit card to make a payment as my card is being replaced and they are not open Sunday so Monday when I was able to pay them they remotely shut my car down and I now can not have my mom car turned back on until they receive a double payment! Which means I now have to miss work, because they refused my payment when I was there in their building trying to pay it, they accept cash down payments but not cash car payments! I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone! I will be having my loan refinanced and I will NEVER Do business with them again!
I would NOT recommend Express Auto in ANYONE... they sell overpriced vehicles that are not properly inspected or repaired, they are absolutely ridiculous to deal with when there are issues and treat you like garbage! Extremely unprofessional.... RUN... RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Dont go there true rating would be negative 5 stars you might think you are buying a car but you are not and after you sign that contract theyll be sure to let you know that the car is not yours it is theyre car dont be late on the payment or they can make the car not start and you could find your self walking unless you are smart enough to bypass the starter interrupter they put on the carJust be smart and stay away

We brought a car and had it for 6 months. The dry shaft broke on it they stated that they will fix it and it will be ready on Tuesday. We called no one answers everyone giving us the go around. And today is Wednesday!!!! I am suppose to go to Tennessee to see my dad for important surgery and they playing. I am going to call better business bureau as soon as they open because I need either a loaner or my car fix like they stated they will do!!!!! They got us mess up seriously I canβt see my dad and if he dies itβs all on yβall that he wonβt see his grandchild because I planned the trip accordingly to the plan they told us they will have the car done....yβall better get it together or you going to be on the short end!!!!!! Or someone better call joshua Shoffner back and tell him his car is fix!!!!!!

Will not do business with them again!! You are only leasing the vehicle, if you want to purchase the vehicle they fine you thousands of dollars. They reported to the credit bureau I only owed 2,640 left and then when I went to trade it in at another dealership they said to buy out I would owe 5,638!! They dont listen to what you actually want or are looking for in a vehicle. I was going to trade mine back into them and get something else but they tried to get me to get a vehicle that had more miles on it than my previous vehicle did, then wanted me to get a car instead of an SUV after I told them I specifically wanted an SUV and was told I received the highest approval I could get through them. Complete rip off, pushy sales people, unethical practices as some documents say lease some say finance.

I have nothing negative to say about Express Auto / (Stadium dr), kalamazoo. I cant speak for everyone of course, but they were good to me. I just completed my car loan with them after 3.5 years. The sales people and Service dept were decent and honest. I dont say that about all places. I know that everyone wont have the same experience i had. But here is the deal, if you make your car payments on time like i did, then you get treated well. I paid alot through the lease/ buy program, but got a good car.I would recommend Express Auto to anyone who does not have good credit. It improved my credit just by making my payments on time. Now i have a decent credit report. Lets just say that they were a help to me when i needed it. It may not be for everyone. But i will give them 5 stars for being there. RH.
As of today I am not happy, I was never notified about them raising my payment for not having full coverage. The issue is that I have full coverage, and they never mailed me a letter to my mailing address I provided. Instead they mailed it to an address that will never receive mail, as noted when I signed the lease and gave them the information. They have raised my monthly payment, in violation of the consumers protection act they have voided the lease, as I have full coverage, and had it at the time I was not notified they wanted new prof. I am giving them a chance to make it right before I contact the AGO and file a complaint. On top of that I found out their was a recall on a part, something they should have known and replaced, but they sold me the vehicle without fixing the recall.
DO WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET A CAR ELSEWHERE. THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. Got a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer less than 9 MONTHS AGO and they are now replacing the engine for A SECOND TIME. The first time they replaced the engine, they put a bad starter in it and I had to go to ANOTHER EXPRESS AUTO to get that replaced and NOW the SECOND time they are replacing the engine, they are blaming it on where they got the engine but CLEARLY they dont know how to fix cars let alone the customer service is beyond me. Not to mention, the other lights on in the dashboard saying theyve fixed those and to call back if the lights are still on. I let them know about these lights and they say, Oh Ill see what we can do. Theyll probably put black tape over the light so I wont see it and say they fixed it. Ive never been late on a payment, have had multiple issues with the car since I bought it and they still will do nothing for me!
I would strongly encourage people to avoid doing business here! As a general rule I would never support leasing anything, but when youre in a financial tight spot you do what you have to. Look elsewhere, please! We have had our vehicles tramsmission replaced 3 times now and it is still not running properly! Each time we have had to pay for a rental car at a ridiculous rate through their partner business and the deposit and refund checks take weeks to come through (still waiting on the most recent ones) so that making the car payments on time has been a struggle. Obviously it is expected that such payments are made, but I dont think its unreasonable for them to make some sort of extended payment option when they were supposed to have fixed the problem 2 rental cars ago (3 weeks of paid rentals). At the VERY least I expect to not have both of my parents harassed regarding our payment and have their customer service representatives yelling and threatening to repossess the car if the payment is even a day late.

My wife and I needed a dependable car, when we called Express Auto and let them know we did not even have transportation to get there to pick out a vehicle, Jamie Hannar came all the way to Paw Paw, picked us up and took us to Express Auto. She became our Sales Associate who helped us through the process of picking out a great vehicle, getting approved, and driving ourselves home within about two hours time! The quality of the vehicles when you dont have much money is horrible. They fixed something on my car and charged us a lot of money only for our car to break down again after 3 days with the exact same issue. Now it just sits while we make payments. Lastly we have had many many issues with our vehicle. Every time we got something fixed something else gets broken.
They got us into a vehicle quickly and painlessly. We love our SUV!

The customers service was horrible in the service department. Very short with me and the guy whom changed my oil was rude and when I asked a question he told me to look.
Such a rip off. Then again, leases usually are. Avoid if you can. You end up paying far too much in the end!!! And the communication is terrible. So glad to be done with this place.
I bought my car, ants included, used and ever since buttons have popped off my engine light stays on, I cant get in the service of my life depended on it. Oon a bad month I shell out 750 a payment. They never have replacement cars, if I needed service and I never even got my referral bonus.. even after they found out it was missing. I dont know if Ill make it three years with this car.

I have had my car 2006 uplander for almost three years in May 5 .. a year ago I moved out of state to GA . I have never missed a payment never been late always on time and always before it was even due. Now they did do some repair work a few month after me having the car which ended up not being covered by warranty so instead of me paying the 800$ they tacked it on my loan.. so next month Im supposed to be done making payments of 500$ and I still have to pay the repair bills while they only allow two payments so thats another two months.. then i find out since Im not returning the car to get another one Im keeping this one since u know I no longer live in MI so it would be impossible for me to do that I have to buy the car ... which is the blue book value of 2,200$ so they will tack on another 6 months to my loan so you mean to tell me a lease that was supposed to only be 3 years has now turnt into a almost 4 years what have I been making all the payments for ? To now have to buy the car .. if u go to rent a center and lease a computer once ur last payment is done u own it out right there is no final payment for the value.. i dont understand this at all and I will never ever go through or send anyone to them it a rip off. They have people that are desperate and in need and have no other choice and they take advantage of them to the fullest I cant even not pay because if I dont it messes up my credit and its a repo, they dont care about their customers who are faithful on their payments they just get over.. not to mention they never return phone me calls .. I wanted to get my car in for a final check before the warranty runs out and they wont even work with me as far as the payments so I can afford the deducable fell of 100$ .. do not go to express auto find ur car on line or go to a normal car dealership not a buy here pay here express auto is the worst
