Absolutely worst experience ever!! I had a trailer I was picking up and I literally took 45 minutes to get it. The long haired manager is the worst manager and was absolutely rude to his employees and told me my truck had wiring issues not his equipment. I told him I was heading to North Carolina and he said he didn’t care that I had no blinkers on the trailer. I went to a shop and tested the truck and the trailer and the wires on the trailer were wired wrong and they did not care to check that. I would say never rent from this place!! I can not believe a company like U-Haul would have such terrible service. It’s the first and last time I’ll ever do business with them.

Since they decided to take down my rating the first time I rated them Ill do it again. Long-haired hippie dude has a really bad attitude. I went into get propane after waiting 10 to 15 minutes, to get two propane tanks filled he comes in and tells me hes not going to fill propane today. Like I said in the first rating I will take my corporate card and business elsewhere.

Traveling from Arizona to central Illinois, noticed a tire was wearing funky on the trailer I rented. Called customer service (roadside assistance) which was a complete nightmare. I looked up this location and was actually helped by a few different employees until the owner, Ryan stepped in and got both tires replaced and got me back on the road, traveling with piece of mind is what it’s all about.

Traveling across country and the Uhaul trailer we had rented had not been attached correctly and was coming off the hitch and the light cables had disconnected. Not only did they help us reconnect, but they replaced the chains with ones that weren’t coming apart, replaced the cables and connected the lights, and replaced the hitch with a gooseneck to get the trailer off the ground. So pleasant and three of the guys came out and worked on it to get us back on the road. The general manager was one of them and he crawled down on the ground and helped out and made sure it was right!Thank you guys for making sure the rest of our travels weren’t going to be a problem!

Moved from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to Joplin Missouri and this was our drop off location. We got the free month storage and we picked the wrong size and the gentleman helped us get a bigger one. They were all polite and professional and very friendly. Definitely would recommend this location.

The staff here has no clue what is going on. They had a storage unit auction. We literally spent more time waiting for them to figure out how to refund our cleaning deposit, than it took for us to clean out the unit.. it’s very frustrating when people are not trained to do a job well. The “General Manager” didn’t know how to take care of the auction process either . This is the 2nd time we have bought from them and it has been a mess both times. If you value your time, don’t waste it here.

Went to get a pickup rental and was told they are all being used and it would be best to call ahead and reserve. I called back the next day to reserve one and was told they dont do reservations. Pretty sure they hire the homeless people that hangout in the back of their place lol

Terrible customer service I would be surprised if you actually pay the price when you get back. Beware. On top of that you are met with no apology and had the store manager lie to me about how he is not the GM then charged my account 450 dollars behind my back on a card that I used to buy an item in the store and not the one on file. Avoid at all cost. My business will never use Uhaul again and this branch is a disrespectful to the Uhaul brand. Sad to see honestly.

There prices on renting a pickup truck wiithin city limits is ridiculous. It say 19.95 then when you get in to rent they tack on 50 miles minimum and jumps it to 64.00 then they make you take there insurance which is another 14.00. So Round 78.00 to rent a truck for 1 hour to get furniture to drive only 12 miles. Not good business and false advertisement. Will not do business again.

Special thanks to Matthew. He was able to diagnose a bad ground on my trailer hookup and got me in and out in 20 minutes. The best place to get your trailer lights installed/fixed.

Went in there today and it smells like a bar. The employees are OBVIOUSLY smoking inside. So disgusting I could hardly breathe. Not even exaggerating.

Renting office said U box would be delivered to home address on 19th. Uhaul was one week past delivery date and wants additional month rental and additional delivery fee to bring ubox to house.Local office allowed me to hook up and take ubox with my own truck without additional charges. However no assistance hooking up to my truck just left me in parking lot to figure it out. When I returned it employee said it needed to be checked in then taken out back where he would unhook it. Instead he helped 2 other people that came in after me. Mr friendly the manager showed back up unhookec from my truck right there where I was parked and says there ya go. No thank you for your business,no sorry for the week delay, no sorry for your inconvenience and problems.On the bright side the young lady working there earlier in the day was very friendly, and did her best to be helpful.Uhaul I believe you has the wrong person in charge at this location.

If only the roadside response gave you the same service as the local guys! Called because a tire froze up on the trailer we rented. Roadside assistance said if they came out to pick it up there would be an assist charge?? What they hell..you rented us a jacked up trailer, husband missed his VA appointment and your going to charge us for your lack of maintenance? Glad to see you guys support your customers and veteran. We have used uhaul for years, can’t say that we will again.Local guys in 7th street did everything they could after we had to drag the trailer frozen wheel and all 5 blocks. If it hadn’t been for the local customer service team you would get one star, but we were more impressed with their response, if we had been out of town at the time we called we would have been so out of luck. Pay your guys on 1410 7th street more, they deserve it. Your call in support team is atrocious at best. No general knowledge, and not one ounce of give a damn.

Your neighbors are tired of hearing the alarm on the back of your building go off mulitple times a day!!! I can hear it inside my house over a block away!!!

They lie about fees, dont honor what corporate agreed to, false advertise trucks and they dont give military discounts. I will never use this company again. Penske is where its at. Avoid uhaul at all cost.
