Purchased a new 2018 Raptor Limited zero turn here. The transition was quick and easy. Everything was as they said it would be.I would much rather buy at Sutherland’s then a big box store because they have a mower repair shop for warranty issues right there at the store.Mower come with a 3 year unlimited hour warranty. I have about 16 hours on it so far and no issues.Great people to deal with ! Great price.

This Sutherlands store in Joplin has got amazing customer service! We walked in the door and multiple employees acknowledged us 🤩 They helped us figure out what we really needed to finish our project... way to go Joplin Sutherlands!

Hard to get info on what we needed and hard to view it. Very cluttered in the area we needed,hard to navigate around stuff. But did get the quote we wanted and the price was right. Not a easy cash and carry. Pay one place pick up at another but still a good price. Still would purchase there.

Sutherlands has been in Joplin all my life and is a great alternative to Lowes and Home Depot.

Based on the excellent customer service from Tom this weekend while price shopping a few items I went in and purchased most of those things today. When this project is done will purchase the items fir my other project from them as well. Prices were better or similar to competitor across the street but assistance was outstanding.

Whatever happened to this place? Feels like a cemetery. Its a good thing the people were kind courteous and helpful. You need professional people to try and get your business going good again. Sutherlands used to be great. Sorry people.

Love this place! Staff is always very helpful store is very clean and I find their prices very close to the big box stores on most everything. Im always willing to pay just a few cents more on some things to feel appreciated as a customer.

Very disappointed. Every year the quality of flowers decline. There were no impatient baskets.Mostly shrubs. Even those were not as good as in the past . Used to have the north side loaded with tons of flowers. Nice big flowers, but not the last 3 years. So sad.Miss those days. Will be forced to Home Depot or Lowe s. The checkers are very nice.

Walked around for over 30 minutes. Could not find soffits, roofing materials, replacement handles for outer storm doors. Absolutely NO EMPLOYEES TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE! Finally just left. What an unhelpful, disorganized store!

The Sutherlands in our area was damaged by a tornado and is closed for remodeling so we stopped by to just see what they had. This is a large store and they have everything! Very helpful staff especially when compared to other large building supply stores. Would have given the fifth star if they had a 60 vanity for a double sink.

I found out that Sutherland lumber in Joplin was having a huge plant sale on SATURDAYS. Starts at 7 AM What nice healthy fresh plants for 1/2 price. WOW and hanging baskets too. A real bargain.

Ordered a vanity top and vanity. Only measurement I was given was size of counter top. Sink will not fit with top drawers in place. Contacted store manager he said there was a picture of it and you signed off on it so nothing i can do. I informed him his employee assured me it would fit. He again said you signed off on counter top. Very upset with customer service will not be utalizing them for the rest of my remodeling needs in my home.

Horrible Service. Noone offered to load my lumber for me.. Instead, the cashier played on her cell phone and the boy in lumber simply pushed the cart up to them register and left. When i got home with my lumber.. It was in bad shape. There again, the boy picked it out for me. As an older senior woman.. This discusts me.

When I went in on May 8 at 10 am the garden section was locked and no one was back there. They didnt have any annual flowers and l had to walk all the way up to the highway almost to find the landscape blocks l needed. Not one person helped me out, so I will definitely not shop there anymore

Whenever I come here I usually find what I need. Sometimes its hit or miss with the oddball stuff but generally anything you need for building and improvements is here.

I bought mower parts at the parts center, and received experienced help in my purchase.

Products seem to move more slowly off the shelves here. There is a pretty big selection but I usually go to Lowe’s first.

I went on a Sunday because Lowes was out of a plumbing part I needed. They didnt have a huge selection but they had what I came for. I decides to browse around a bit and discovered that while they are not as big as Lowes or Home Depot they do Cary an enormous variety of stuff, I dont know why this place isnt packed with people. This is now my go to home improvement store.

Their garden sale is the only thing they do that ever draws my attention, I usually just go to Home Depot or Lowes.

They wanted me to set up a membership to get their advertised discount.
