Just left this location and after having spent the afternoon talking to a rather unhelpful and rude representative at a different company I was thoroughly relieved and excited to do future business with Ridout. I only came in looking for decking color samples and left with every bit of information that I needed. I am truly appreciative of their service.

No overnight parking. FCFS. Quick to unload. Plenty of room to maneuver around. Friendly and professional.

Please please please for the love of god do not EVER use Ridout. It has taken them over four months to renovate my moms house because they either order the wrong materials, the wrong size of materials or put the materials in wrong and not to mention it takes them 3-4 weeks to get the new material. I have never seen such an incompetent business! I would give them 0 stars if I could.

Best place to buy lumber

I would give a zero if possible. We bought a house that had flooring put in by Ridout. Right away we called because the carpet was wrinkling up, the tack strips were poking peoples feet, and the carpet on the steps was pulling up. Right away they did not want to come out and fix the problem. We had to call several times just to get someone out. When the person came out he ran a hammer over the tack strips to bust off the sharp spikes but did nothing to fix the wrinkled carpet or the carpet that was pulling up. I have now tried to call them to come back out. They now tell me that they cannot do anymore to help me. I suggest that if you want it done right you go somewhere else. Do not do business with ridout lumber.

I bought materials when I was building a deck and they got it through another company called guardian. They delivered it late the deck was already finished. I tried to return it what was’nt used. And they wouldn’t take it back. It’s around $300 worth of materials I’m stuck with. I’ll never use them again.
