Dec 18, 2012... Today I called Joplin Home Depot for some window prices. the automated phone took me to the wrong department. The person in that department transfered me to another wrong dept, again I was transfered to another wrong dept... 3 times by their employees! So I asked for Steve, the store manager. Steve said he would look into the transfer problems. He also told me I will walk back there and get you the price and return a call to you. I called 3 other stores and got my prices, still no call from Steve. Then Dee the Pro desk Mgr calls and asked if it was replacement or new construction window! Dee said she would call me back. I called their corprate to file a complaint. They got Steve on a 3-way call, where he admitted he had lied unintentionally about handling it himself! I asked why i should spend my money at a store where Id been lied to... Needless to say a bunch of excuses were given. They cost themself about $6.000 in total window purchaces on this 1 sale with me alone. I will not return to Home Depot, a place that lies to customers!!!!!!
