BAM is one of my favorite places to shop. It is not just a book store. You can find all kinds of things here from one of a kind gifts to fresh brewed coffee. The store itself is usually pretty quiet and easy to get around. The staff is also quite helpful

The employees are friendly and very helpful. I asked about certian medical books and the sales clerk was able to take me to the section and was familiar with everything they had on the subject. I was impressed. It is a nice store. I would give it 5 stars but i honestly didnt stick around long enough to really get a good idea what all they had. It may deserve 5 stars. For now, I like it, so 4 stars.

Wonderful Store to spend an afternoon simply browsing selections from all over the Globe. Today, it was Bible Shopping. Great selections!!!

Any type of book you need, They have. I went in to get a planner came out with 3 other books as well...lol There is just something about a bookstore. I could spend hours in there. The staff are very helpful in pointing you in the right direction to find what you are looking for!

Its clean, staff is nice. Has your basic selection of new books in the usual mainstream categories. Really push their discount club.

I love Books A Million for their library variety but the prices are ridiculous. My advice is go in and look for what you want or new ideas for books to read and then order them online. Used selection of books was non existent at this location

Great selection of books. Only drawback is when checking out by always trying to get you to sign up for club membership or trial magazines.

I got to donate Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows to a kid in school and help complete the set! Hope they enjoy it.

That place is huge with tons of books and it was really awesome to see a real life bookstore. I havent seen one in a good 20 years or more

The employees are great. Always greeting people when they walk in unless theyre busy helping another customer and always ready assist when able to. Great reading environment.

Decent sized book store. Parts of it feel a litter cluttered to me, but my visit was also in the evening. Possible staff hadnt had time to straighten up, and what I thought was clutter was just mess made by customers throughout the day. Books seemed fairly priced.

Always have fun looking around here. I like their used book initiative, and theyve got a nice little vinyl section. A little pricier than their competitors but overall a good bookstore.

I honestly cannot remember the last time I was in a large bookstore. It might have been before Borders closed, and I miss the whole browsing experience. I am not a coffee drinker, but did like the coffee aroma from Joe Muggs while I looked around. This Books-A-Million has a huge inventory and the Used DVDs/CDs were reasonably priced. They have so many of those POP! action figures. I could spend all day in here! I hope stores like these stay around forever! Awesome bookstore! So many books at very reasonable prices. Clean, bright, friendly staff, definitely love stopping here.

I’ve been going to this store for years, but I’m done now. The prices are outrageously high. I went to buy a $30 book with a “Now $20” coupon attached to it, but they refused to honor the coupon because they forgot to take it off. Good customer service would have sold it to me for $20 because it was their fault they left the coupon on it. I didn’t buy the book, and thank goodness I didn’t because I found the same one online for $12.50. Books A Million is never getting my money again.

I am a book nerd and they have several different book genres. They have cool games and non- book items. They also have a decent coffee shop and friendly employees and great discounts.

First time at this store, we live in Arkansas so we rarely are in the Joplin area.We love this as an alternative to Barns and Nobel, the staff (minus one associate) was great and helpful. The shelves could use a good straightening because things are hard find but staff helps you find them easily.We joined the club because it will save me money over time, as my wife and oldest love books!

Employees are always nice, and the coffee is really good. I would rather drink coffee here than Starbucks. Definitely cheaper and better. You will not be disappointed!

No I went there too do some computer work and use the coffee shop and get a book. But unfortunately I must have went on a bad day. The coffee shop only had regular coffee other machines were down. And the bookstore didnt have the book I needed. Which wasnt entirely their fault I just didnt know you got there that small bookstore

They have a good selection of books as well as other items like funko pops and novelty items. The frozen hot chocolate is very good.

Its a great little place for book lovers. I enjoyed searching for Xmas presents here. Our tradition is we pick books for each family member. Helpful staff and great collection.

Prices were way high. There were sale flyers hanging up but no information on where to find the books that were on sale.Only one associate, not in the coffee area, could be found to ask any questions of and he was the one running the register. Additionally, we wasnt overly friendly or forthcoming with information when asked questions.Not impressed at all.

So much more than a book store! I was pretty impressed. Great customer service. Had a Frappuccino from Joe Muggs Cafe which was awesome. Had no idea they had so much more than books. Browsed the Toys and kids sections, Bargain books for some new and pre-owned books at very reasonable prices. Looked through the clearance calendars and tons of novelty items. In all a great visit and I will definitely be back! Tons more to see 😁

Found some good butts. Lungs was long. They only has one person working the register. He was fast and very nice but they should have had two people.

With some help from a friendly sales associate, found exactly what I wanted very quickly. And treated myself to an Americano! All in all a good trip! Will come back soon!

The folks very helpful in finding things, and they were really courteous. For a bookstore they had a splendid selection. They did have books in areas with what looked like the wrong labeled genre section. It was funny to see Anatomy books in a cooking section. I am sure that was just an error. A funny one for sure.

Got my new friend here. Always good to grab a book in a hurry and get home to read. The staff will help you find a book and order it if its not in stock. I havent had to do so yet. The bonus is the wandering, I like the smell of new books.

There are way too few bookstores anymore. This place is very nice indeed. My biggest complaint with Books-A-Million is you dont get enough for bringing.in your used and unwanted DVDs. I think thats with any place you try to sell your used items.

I like that it has a lot of Christian books and gift type items and that it just has a variety of things to look at as far as Christmas gift ideas. The staff has been friendly every time I’ve gone in .

They should fix the ceiling tiles that have been hanging for quite some time now as it makes the store look worse than it should. Its also a liability and a easily fixable one. The store has a decent selection of books for having become a quasi toy store. The sales spiel at the register is annoying.

They have an average selection and even that is overpriced. I am all about supporting IRL book stores and in print products, but this store makes it hard to want to.

Its got books, coffee, toys, magazines, not sure what else you could ask from a book store. It was clean and the books were in good shape. A little disorganized, but customers dont usually put stuff back where they found it.

A little disappointed with their customer service. I was having trouble locating a magazine, so I asked for assistance from an employee. She only said three words...I dont know and didnt even offer to help.After looking for close to 20 minutes, I gave up and picked something else. When I went to check out, the associate helping me was nice and professional.The store was not busy, was clean and fully stocked with various items.

Very disorganized. Store was cluttered with boxes and loose books on the floor. Staffing seems to be an issue. Employees have little to no knowledge of the products they sell.

I love this store! Every time we come down I try to go here. Even if I dont buy a lot or spend a ton the customer service is great and we always get help if we need it.

Nice store with a lot of choices. My only criticism is that theyre a little bit pricey although I did find several gifts.

Before I walked into your store I checked the hours to see what time you opened and it said 10 AM. I walked into your store at a few minutes after 10 and as I walked in I just saw your clerks walking in with me. By the time I made my selection and got up to your clerks to pay, they were just now opening their registers and were still not ready for me to make a purchase. I could see that there were people moving about the store stocking books and other things but no one had made an effort to open a register. I have to say I was disappointed as we had waited around for your store to open...yet no one was concerned to be available and ready to work to let us pay for books. I went elsewhere.

Large selection of merchandise besides books. also used books for those on budgets. they have partnered with a organization so customers can buy books and toys for underprivileged kids.a good place to spend your extra money to help.a mind opened by books can change the world.

My first visit to this book store. I was very impressed. It would take the better part of a day to review their entire stock of books, magazines and numerous other offerings. I have been searching for numismatic materials for my grandson without much success. It was a great relief to find that Books-A-Million sells every type of numismatic materials that I wanted and even more. A very satisfying shopping experience.

Best Book Store! Better than Barnes & Noble! I love stopping here when I am in town. Plan on spending some time. They have seating areas, a cafe and lots of other items besides books.
