What a wonderful book store. It is everything you want in a used book store. Tons of books, fun and interesting owner with lots of knowledge and good prices.

As an avid reader, I love Always Buying Books for finding a great read. As a local author, I enjoy book signing events in the store and having my paperbacks on the local author shelf. The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. Ive asked about books that a librarian would have trouble finding and they know where it is and take you straight to it. Amazing service!

If you are a book lover, you have to check this place out. I cant stress this enough as this is the neatest bookstore I have ever been to. The prices are very reasonable and the guy I spoke with at the counter is knows his stuff! The other interesting thing here are, world GLOBES! On several of the bookcases you will find world globes. I remember seeing these all the time I was a child.

The gentleman is a wonderful assistant. He is very helpful and nice. Great atmosphere and prices!

This place is amazing! So many different books. I didnt have time to look at all the books but walked out happy with my 1945 Nancy Drew and 1913 Darwin!

This is my favorite place in Joplin! Bob and Elise are just the greatest people ever. They go out of their way to make sure you have a good day there. Also they have such an impressive collection of books (and globes🌏 :) Love that place♡

Not sure how Ive never been here before, but this is now my new favorite bookstore in Joplin! They have a huge selection of used books and the gentleman working was extremely friendly and helpful. They also have several tables full of books out front that are available for a cash donation, which goes to local charities. How great is that?

Everyone is always nice and a very wide selection of books. Bob is a wonderful man and I hope his business stays going forever. Has a huge selection of Christian books, and many for cheap/donation! I love this part the most. He sells the books cheap and is always friendly! I’ll be back soon!

New books are rotated into the stock regularly. Recent reorganization of the store looks great. If you like piles of books, searching for treasures, and people named Bob - this is the shop for you. Every time I am in Joplin I pick up a stack of delightfully used paperbacks.

This is the best book store I have ever been to. The owner was very helpful, while I was in one isle looking he was in other isles looking for me. Found books I have been looking for over 2 years for. Very affordable!!!!

I love visiting here! Nice people and atmosphere! I can find almost anything Ive looked for there! I recommend going there anytime over going to major bookstores.

Great selection, and the employees are very helpful. I find it hard to leave. The owner has an extensive knowledge of classic literature. Not to mention everything is moderately priced.

Dont place your book here, that you authored, for sale. They do not notify you of any profits, they do not catalog your book into their inventory and cannot tell you what they did with the books. Very poor service, and attitude towards self-published authors. Very disappointed to find that they have no clue as to what they did with my books.

Best local used bookstore in the area. Hes pretty free with giving you a deal and the books are fairly priced. I always go here before BAM or B&N. Smells like an old book store, I dont smoke and an sensitive to the smell and this place does not smell of tobacco. If it does its faint. Ive brought lots of the books home with me and my wife would have let me know in strong terms if the books smelled. Dont pay attention to the bad reviews. Also sold books there several times and traded and they were never refused.
