I actually liked this one better than the larger one in the mall. The inventory was a lot better cultivated.

Well they desperately need a non tool workers.You ever get the feeling when you look at them or ask them something, its like their hearing other voices. Or in their head they are at a smashing pumpkins concert and theyre in the front row looking like 13yr old groupies. Mouth all open. Wait this is my favorite part. No this is. Nope I was wrong this is.Or on main you get the oh what yeah I work here but Im not really familiar. Or you ask hey why dont you sort you Playstation games and VR games.and they are all. Well thats really hard. And your like but its 10 games of vr. Just separate them and they are all like wait wait what.oh yeah thats to hard

Huge selection of new and used books, comics, games, movies and collectibles. Staff is always nice and helpful. Will always try to help you find what you are looking for and if they dont have it will check other locations or attempt to order it for you.

Excellent experience! The employees really made this store something special. They were so nice and friendly and welcoming that my hubby and I felt right at home. And as recent Texas transplants, we really appreciated their hospitality. Their genuinely nice personalities made our visit truly enjoyable. The store itself is well-stocked, well-lit, clean and neat. I was especially pleased to find they sell books as well! The Texas equivalent of Vintage Stock, Movie Trading Company, doesnt sell books, so thats a huge plus. All in all, I highly recommend Vintage Stock, and this location in particular for the awesome staff.

Not a fan of vintage stock anymore. The reason being they charged me over 130$ for the seasons of Smallville basically 20$ or more per season and when I sold them back after a week of having them they gave me ten cents back per season.my advice never sell to them they will not treat you reasonably and half there movies are scratched or damaged and they charge you full retail for damaged goods.

This is a great place to get used games, comics, books, and movies at a really fair price. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Even for an ocd weirdo like me.😁 Also the employees are fun to talk with. The store manager is Chris and hes probably the best that location has ever had. Shadee is a total sweetheart and lots of fun to talk with, and Dave is an immortal space wizard who has conquered worlds. The only issue Im having right now isnt even their fault, but there is a lack of hardware but hey thats everywhere right now. Shop here, its a good time. 🤗

We like Vintage Stock. But they really low-ball you on things you bring to sell them. I realize they have to make money. But 17$ for 11 PS3 games is very low. Especially when they turn around and sell them for 10$ a piece.

Theirs just no where else to go here for the hobby supplies I use and collect and theyve used this knowledge of the customer base to hike things up 30 to 40% higher than most places.

Found a rare Star Wars book called The Star Wars Vault. Very cool one of a kind find for only $11 with 20% off coupon. Very highly recommended!

The one in the mall at Joplin, MO is pretty good. The Main street location one needs some remedial training on customer service. Except Dave. Dave is awesome and he treats people good.

We really like this Vintage Stock location, there were way too many people not wearing masks for our taste and the employees cant enforce the store policy for everyone that chooses to ignore it. The employees are so helpful and friendly here though!

Good selection, roomy, well lit but the prices were quite high. I have shopped there for a couple years but the prices just keep rising too high. They are built on used merchandise but want more than new in many cases, which is to be expected for collectibles but not everyday movies. Probably wont go back.

Vintage Stock isnt a chain Im a huge fan of, but the staff here really, really does a great job. They are always super helpful, super friendly, and they put up with a lot. Im not always a fan of Vintage Stocks higher prices, but I dont even mind at this particular location when the service is this good.

I love this place. I went there back around 97 or 98 when it was still the Book Barn and at the original location. I have been the several times throughout the year from original to new location. The old store was awesome and had a treasure trove of books and other great collectibles. Dont get me wrong the new location doesnt have the same feel as the original but still has the same great selections as the original. Brings back a lot of memories everytime I get to stop by.

I have only bought stuff from this place (never tried to sell them anything). Looking back, everything was overpriced. If you know what you want there are much better deals on Ebay. If you want to just browse, this store is good, but employees are not very helpful. Would not go here again.

Went in the store and asked for help finding a game on 2-4-2021. between 1:30 and 2pm. The dude and girl offered very little help and the dude wouldnt quit playing on his phone to help. I left.. WONT BE BACK TO THIS LOCATION..

The store had a collection of dvds I wanted. That is the only reason they are getting two stars as you can sometimes find items you want. The woman that approached my friend the minute he walked through the door and said Sir Joplin is under a mask mandate you need to leave. In a snappy and rude tone as if people couldnt possibly be from out of town. We understand its a pandemic but some people, per their doctors orders cannot wear a mask. There was a child in the store that was of an age where she should have been wearing a mask but she wasnt refused service. I will not return to this location and I doubt neither will he. As a worker you should still be polite, customer service is your job.

We are huge fans of Vintage Stock! The staff are awesome and friendly and most of them know us. Our kids love the great selection of movies, video games, toys, memorabilia and books. And its nice to still have a place where you can actually rent movies when you need to.

A+ Customer Service! I called over the phone from out-of-state knowing I was about to be a difficult customer - I had a long list of hard-to-find movies. Megan was exceptional, very polite, friendly and went above and beyond from what I have come to expect in retail. Having a couple additional questions for the manager (I believe his name is Chris) he showed me the same quality customer service, was able answer my questions honestly and to point me in the right direction.

Always helpful and knowledgeable. Gamestops closer for us but we choose to drive the extra 30 mins to come here.

This location is a pleasant little one to enjoy a quieter experience looking for movies. Most of the staff are friendly including the manager. There is only one that can be moody. Other than that it is always a positive experience here.

Rangeline is the best store, but Main isnt as busy although its less friendly. As a chain they are way too overpriced on a lot of things but have decent deals every now and again. Not very many other options around Joplin, game store across from the mall is definitely cheaper. I guess what Im saying is....I miss Hastings...

Great place to find that game or CD that you just cant find elsewhere. Most of the staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful. They can be a bit overpriced though.

Been here a handful of times when going to Joplin and have always enjoyed my visits here! Would recommend checking it out if you dig collectables and Magic The Gathering!

Ive been shopping here for years, the staff is always well trained and friendly. The have a huge stock of awesome products, and they are great about looking for what you need and taking you to the shelf that its on. They have new & used board games, books, movies, video games, toys and more. They will give you store credit or cash for trade-ins and their used items are always in good shape and work. I give people giftcards for this store because you will find something you like.

I always greatly enjoy shopping at this store, the amount of product in this store is insane. I could easily spend many many hours here just looking at everything in the store. I have shopped here more times than I can count and everytime the staff has been super helpful whether Im just browsing or looking for an item the staff is always there to help. I love shopping at vintage stock. Im a huge movie buff and I can always find what Im looking. They will also order it and send it to your house if you didnt find it in store. Everytime Im in Joplin I have to stop and do a quick walk through just to see if something catches my eye. Plus the staff is very friendly and helpful.

All around good spot for games and movies. This location has cut back on books, but the one in the mall has plenty to make up for it. The staff seems friendly and knowledgeable even though it feels under staffed at prime times.
