Big Lots has basically turned into more like a furniture store but it also has basic house needs like rugs, bedding sheets, comforters, pillows and the like...it does have gaming systems, headphones & things like that..they have food items, drinks, camping gear, lounging chairs. I think they have a few clothing items (not too sure about this tho). They offer sign up for rewards cards too but big lots isnt what they used to be & most of their prices are just ridiculous. If youre interested in any of these things & dont care to pay their prices, i guess this is the store for you.

I love my local big lots. They have recently started selling clothes, and much to my surprise they are very very nice.

The store doesnt look like much but they have some CRAZY good deals. My mother got a new $800 bed and frame for only $600. Plus they have some clothes food couches and all are for a really good deal. Plus the staff (At least the ones I met) are really friendly. Well definitely be going back. Plus my mom is addicted to the store now lol.

Decent groceries, pet foods, and other random items priced lower than most anywhere else. Although, they also have stuff thats overpriced for a discount store.

Decent store clean well stocked but only 2 stars because of rude and unorganized employee. I went in on a Sunday after receiving several email to buy some stuff and get my free sanitary wipes only to be told they werent aware of the promotion. No sorry no apology even after I showed the email she was matter of fact and said I dont know anything about it. I mean really why send me 3 emails to remind me and then refuse to give the product. If they need customers so bad they have to deceive them with fake give aways ill take my business somewhere else. Im sure they dont care since they dont bother to follow through with their promotions.

I use to really love the big lots and everything was awesome but now I sat 2 star.

They had a lot of unique home decor that we loved.

To each their own, but this place just isnt my wife and I cup of tea. Most items were borderline junk and what wasnt was over priced. The store could use a good cleaning and reorganizing, plus it wont hurt for the employees to have a better attitude.

It was great to shop there and my service was good there I like shopping there but the store is 15 minutes from were I live it on far end of north roan street and I live on the far end on south roan street wish there was a small on south roan street of big lots for the future

It was great cashier was super nice and helpful. The item I return didnt have a tag on it and she helped me find one that did and then she return money and then she helped my sister sign up for their rewards. All n all very nice visit.

Bought a nice TV stand on 12/12/2020 and had excellent customer service from Robert in houseware. He was accommodating and helped get it into our vehicle with minimal difficulty. He did a great job.

Ill probably never go back into this store the last time I went there to buy some stuff I spent almost $60 the cashier was so rude I bought two cushions for my couch one of them had a spot on it that I didnt see until after she was putting it in the bag she just told me to put it back over there and get another one why would you put something back on a shelf like that and she was just hateful and rude to me.

The manager at the Oakland Avenue location in Johnson City is very kind and helpful. I made a mistake with a coupon and he was more than willing to help me fix it so I could save a few dollars. Will definitely continue to shop there for the good service!

The store is clean and organized. You can get some good bargains here especially if you are a card member. We love to check the seasonal merchandise because they have different items than you find at other stores.

I like the one in Elizabethton and Greeneville but the one in Johnson city just feels really out dated.

What a dump

I bought 2 recliners from the Elizabethton store and a loveseat from jc store approx 9 months ago I also purchased the 3 year extended warranty, 1 of my recliners is coming apart at the seem and they wont fix it they said it was wear damage if there furniture cant even make it through a year that says alot about how cheap its made! Very unsatisfying customer. 😡

Some of the best customer service around, great deals on really nice things. Do yourself a favor and check out big lots. Save money and time.

Great place for furniture and Christmas decorations. A little over priced on some things but good prices on food spices here and some neat and unique different decorations for holidays. Toys are over priced. I hope they have a sale bc other stores are cheaper.

I love Big Lots. Always find amazing deals on things. Love to find that little gem super cheap as well. This particular location has an extremely large selection of sofas and chairs. I really like that I am fully able to look at my product before I buy it instead of ordering. Nice selection of mattresses and if you keep an eye out they constantly have a good deal for example they have specials where you can buy mattress and get the box spring free. Or they like to have BOGO sales. Staff here is very good store is pretty clean considering its definitely old. On the whole very pleased with this Big Lots.

Advertised 20% off in signs everywhere, but only in tiny print that you cannot possibly read from the road does it say you have to sign up for their rewards program to get the discount. Some exclusions and restrictions are expected, but this is way too big to hide in fine print

Deals on food and things for the house. I often find new and hard to find drinks, cereal, candy, and snacks here. Always check the dates. They have a section with couches and other big items, most of these are very affordable, but low in quality.🛒🛒🛒🛒💸💸💸💸

The place is nice and clean. No clutter and they have a little bit of everything for low prices. The only issues I have is that their furniture is over priced, and they need far more registers open.
