I have had nothing but issues from Linda at this location. Everyone else has been pleasant and helpful. Linda needs to find a job maybe out of the customer service field.

Dave and Joe are Class A Men! They both were able to help me out in picking out the Perfect Engagement ring for my girlfriend! I can’t wait to continue coming here with every life event that happens from here out. I may not have been able to get the biggest and best but these two men helped me feel special and one day I’ll be able to spend more and do more for the woman I have in my life! Just save yourself an extra trip to Asheville and go to Jared’s yourself. Wasted my time going to Kay’s to get ring sized and making a wish list my fiancé went in picked a ring off my list and they sold him a size 7 when my size was clearly stated on the account so now I’m without a ring! Instead Of waiting on Kay’s to take weeks to send off the ring and resize it I drove it to Asheville to Jared’s myself! They were the best! I wish I would have went there first! My ring will be ready in two days but still very upset I had my size in the computer and they didn’t bother to sell him the right size!!!!
A ring that I purchased for my wife had a few complications causing us to have to bring it back more than once. Every time we did, the employees were very courteous and empathetic. Today, we had to bring it back once again on the same issue. The manager, Joe was very accommodating in replacing the ring this time reassuring us that if any other issues arise, they would always help us in any way they can. The employees and management have only shown us professionalism.
Linda and Joe at Kay Jewelers in the Mall of Johnson City were OUTSTANDING!! Linda was very patient with us and our kids the 1st visit and made us feel even more welcomed the 2nd time we visited that day! She helped us find the most amazing bridal set and wedding band for my hubby to be! Even though Joe was helping other clients, as we were checking out, he shook both of our hands, congratulated us and THANKED US for coming back to shop! FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Couple years back, bought my male wedding band and had a family diamond set in a wedding band for my wife. Quality was excellent and above all else. Both ring sets had stood up great over the years. I lost enough weight that I need my band resized and theyre taking care of that right now. Quick and easy and Ill have it back in about a week.P.S. If you like nice, big mens watches, this place is THE JAM. But they can be really expensive.

The bands I wanted to match my engagement ring were discontinued and they called, left a voicemail and though I was a bit disappointed my fiancé and I went in and picked something close to matching what I had! They were Fantastic and will be sure to come here for every jewelry need possible!!!!
I had a pearl ring my husband got me, I havent even had it for a yr yet & the pearl fell out & even had a warranty on it but they still wouldnt fix it. No more buying from Kays jewelry
We will never use this Kay Jewelers again. My fiancé bought my engagement ring from them because I have loved Neil Lane since I was a little girl and Kay’s is the only place that sells his rings. When we went back into the store to try on wedding bands they didn’t have the matching one to my ring in store so they said they ordered it along with the ring my fiancé wanted as well. We were told the rings should arrive within a week. We checked back in a week and no rings. We went back three weeks later and were told they still weren’t there but they should arrive on the next truck. Five weeks later after still not receiving a text we went back to check on the status of our rings and were told that the rings had never actually been ordered. This has infuriated me because the three times we went in there to check on the rings we were told each time that they were on their way. We were never told that the rings were discontinued or never ordered. After showing frustration with them all they could say was that they were sorry. We will be using Dempsey’s a local Jeweler in JC for our wedding bands.
The customer service was great! The store was busy but when I entered they were very welcoming and acknowledged that I was there. I had a repair I needed with my engagement ring. They were considerate of what I wanted and expected. They were quick in handling the repair and called me when it was ready. I highly recommend this store!
Its great. kays is the number 1 jewelery store that has very good rings diamond rings and before you buy the employ will tell you the quality of that ring with a diamond.

The only problem I have ever had with this store is them not calling me to tell me my ring had been shipped back to them when I got it re-dipped. I was persistent though when I went in to get it and they said that they didnt receive an order that day and I told them it was supposed to be back a few days prior. sure enough they had it.linda is a great woman there and she always works with us and trys to give us the best price available. we love working with her.
Horrible customer service. Women are very rude. I bought a ring and its color changed I wanted to return it but they treated me so bad because I wanted to get my money back.
From the moment I walked it we had issues. The man didnt want to size us, said the fingers would swell in the summer and so we dont want to change the size. My fault for never looking until after we got to the car. So we had to go back in and he didnt want to size my fiance. Eventually he did and told us the ring would be in within 2.5 weeks.The next day I looked and my bank account had been charged twice for the wedding band. I called and they said they would fix it. 4 days later nothing changed and I called again and they said I was never charged twice . Funny how when I talked to headquarters they fixed it immediately.3 weeks later never got a call to pick up the ring. I called and the nice lady couldnt find our names in the system but luckily I had the emailed receipt and was able to give her the receipt number. She told me she would talk l to the guy that sold it to me and call back.When he called me back he told me the system was down that night and thats why it never got ordered... I told him it took my money well enough and that if it was down he should have ordered it the next day. So he looked to see if he could get the ring in and the best he could do was a half size too big, then he told me again about the weather and how the ring might not fit now but would later and that it would be in within 2 days. Because of the weekend Monday at the latest.Monday came and I never got a call, I assume he never ordered it but regardless I returned it and got my refund 10 mins before they closed. I would NEVER ever shop here again. It was a horrible experience.ON THE UPSIDE helzburg jewelers is wonderful to work with. The same ring is also a little more than 100 dollars cheaper . So is zales . Check online for mens rings before you buy them, Kays you pay more and get horrible customer service .
Horrendous customer service. The women are disrespectful and judgmental of any woman (regardless of age and status) who steps foot in their shop, and the men are aloof and often unavailable. Will happily go elsewhere--and pay double--if it means being treated well.
Terrible customer service. I dropped off a piece to be repaired that i purchased a few years ago. The man couldnt find my account and told me there was no way i got it there bc he couldnt find my acct well kay is the only one who sales the collection no one else!! Hello! Finally, I called today to see about the piece i dropped off to get repaired. Very smart elic response. Will not go back to this location for purchase or repair.
Even though I didn’t purchase anything when I went in the staff was very nice at letting me look at what I wanted and when it’s time for my boyfriend to purchase a ring I’ll have him come here for sure!
TERRIBLE customer service.I was interrupted over the phone as if I was wasting their time and was then rushed off by being hung up on.I will not be returning to this location for any orders ever again.
If you dont mind sleazy sales tactics and the worst customer service ever, this location has it all. Yup... I should of went to Jared.
