Mandi Rice, Lily and the entire salon staff are AMAZING! Mandi Rice did my hair yesterday and I look like a model 😊. Lily saved my bangs after I tried to cut them myself at home! The entire salon is comprised of kind, and, in my opinion, true artists. I am so thankful for Mandi Rice, Lily, and the other staff too - not just the salon team either! The entire ulta staff is incredibly helpful, and genuine. Im so grateful for all that they have done for me. Thank you all!!!!!!!

It was like I had my own personal assistant. The lady that helped found my right color and exactly what I wanted. I spent $125 but it was so worth it. I bought primer, foundation, setting powder, and eyebrow liner. $125 was actually a great price for quality product.

Im patient with new hires. The girl at the register really should have had a.manager with her helping guide her. The said she had only.2 hrs training. Get it together management.

They where very helpful and constantly made sure that knowledge was on hand.

They kept my thirteen-year-old daughter on hold for 45 minutes to an hour. Are we the last we went there was a appointment still had to wait an hour to be at the back of the line. After being there for 45 minutes they asked if we had an appointment, you would think that they would ask whenever we got there.

Fun place for women to shop. They also sell mens cologne. Nice people working there. Also has reward points. My first time there I got some nice mascara for free.

So sorry to rate so low but compared to the Ulta that I have been used to shopping, this one does not meet the mark. Some of the staff were dismissive, there are a lot of brands that they do not carry in store plus it is small & very crowded. As someone that spends a lot with Ulta, I will probably just order online from now on.

Went to buy my mothers specific birthday gift not having clue what it exactly is or where to start. hoping to find help instead i revived people and employees just looked at me like i was nuts and the pricing was to high so i left. fortunately sephora in Jc penny was more helpful so i spent my $60 there.

Iwont be back. I came in for several items. Specific items in a price point that meant I would have spent around 150$.I could NOT get the attention of a rep...they were there, but passed me by for cuties...*Us old ladies have money, honey...business mistake yall

It was gross. I will order my stuff online but that store bottom line needs cleaned up badly. Every piece of make up was ripped open, scratched through, lotions are used and it just was gross. Definitely need some deep cleaning done here and used products to be removed out. I aint talking about the samples either. Everything I wanted to buy or picked up was either used, opened or smashed up.

The young lady I spoke with was more interested in maintaining a conversation with the ladies cutting hair than helping customers. I asked her about a product that was missing a lid to see if there was additional inventory in the back or even a different size (two spots, one was for travel size and the other standard). She said Im sure there is, but in these boxes (points at boxes) and Im not opening those until tomorrow. Now I am generally very easy going and dont take things like this personally but when a customer asks about a product and is willing to spend money in your establishment, at least, take the time to remove yourself from your personal conversation and assist that customer to the best of your ability not make a side note to your customer of how youre not going to assist them. Very disappointed..

Mandy at Ultra did a great job on my hair.

One of my go to spots for all my beauty/skin care needs. They run some pretty good specials and have an incentive program as well as a birthday freebie gift. Not every single employee interaction Ive had has been stellar, but i have generally been treated pretty well by the staff when i go in. They have really good selection variety.

Love coming here in the aspect of beauty items, but the customer service is a joke! If I’m looking for something and can’t find it, I’ll ask for help. They act like I’m such a bother. Actually makes me not want to return. And I see others complaint about this. You all need to address this

Love this place. However, days ago I walked in to buy something and was waiting in line when a woman walked into return some makeup. She returned the items and walked out with no issues. The woman behind the counter proceeded to tell the other employee the woman hadn’t even used the makeup. And the other employee made a very nasty comment towards the woman because of her religion. Definitely not someone who needs to work in customer service.

Kali is the only person Ill allow to do my brows. She is awesome inside and out and girl knows what she is doing! Dont let her go Ulta!

The ladies that work here are way nicer than the ones at the Bristol location. They help you find what your looking for and share about specials and promotions. I never knew until today that Ultra has stylist on hand. If you shop at ULTA this one is worth the drive to get to.

Had a 5:15 appointment. I arrived a little early and checked in with one of the stylists. She told the stylist i was supposed to see that i was there for my 5:15 appointment. At 5:45 i was still sitting in the waiting area and she had not bothered to come let me know she was running behind or speak to me at all. She was still working on the same person she was working on when i arrived. She was still probably 10 minutes or more from being done with that client so I left.

Do NOT get your hair and/or makeup done here. I paid $100 to get what I thought was “professional” makeup for my prom but it ended up looking like a mess. My hair was also very nappy from all the hairspray in it. I went home and redid it myself and looked better than what they had done. Don’t waste your money here

There is a great selection at this store! Everything is very well organized and kept nice and clean. The staff is very helpful when it comes to finding specific items, but I always receive some judgement on my less than extensive knowledge about makeup brands.

Its a nice store in the mall. They sell mostly makeup but also skincare products like face masks. The employees are very helpful when looking for specific products or things that work best for you.

This Ulta location had what I needed with an incredible staff. Joran Smalls helped my mom and me the entire time and was very patient. The products I was recommended by Joran are great for my skin type. Amazing staff. Thank you!

Its a big, slightly overwhelming store. The cashiers are nice. The testers on the drugstore makeup side were either missing or broken during our visit. Not really the stores fault, but they should have replenished. A few and I would have undersyood, but many of them were missing. There was no one available to ask questions of on the higher priced brands side. We enjoyed shopping the prices on the drugstore side because they have sales. They also email a coupon that is helpful though it has a lot of exceptions.

Love the new staff! Friendly faces and a very talented salon crew! Great place to get your hair done! They have a new esthetician that does great facials too!

Johnson City store lacks space and friendly employees. Always appears as if a bus load of teenagers just went through all the makeup. Kingsport store worth the drive.

Who doesnt like makeup? Would be better if it was more affordable but oh well 🤷 employees tend to be pretty stuck up if you dont look overly done like them. Go in rocking your pajamas just to see the eye rolls!

The staff was friendly enough, but didnt cut my daughters hair the way we asked. We asked for a cute cut and barely got a trim. $26 for a dry cut and no style. They also kept insisting I buy my 2 year old Paul Mitchell hair care. Got home and my daughters hair cut is uneven and its a mess. Will have to pay to get it fixed. Terrible first hair cut experience and wont go back.

This store is awesome I can buy my makeup products that I normally would order from QVC or HSN but I can buy them locally now and not have to wait for shipping. The employees are awesome theyre all such beauties that you know youre in the right store if youre looking for makeup.

Its a good place to test makeup. But the customer service is for the birds. If you can get there before there are any other customers the staff is super helpful. But then it got just a little busy maybe 6 ppl in the whole store 3 in the checkout no one wants to help. I wanted to get a free shipping voucher the manager rudely said well you will have to order it from here or check another store. Ok I would like to order it i tell the cashier she says oh the manager will get it. I stand there for a few more mins as the managers proceeds to not pay me any attention. So I left I wont be coming back. The only thing good that came out of this whole experience was I got cash back for my return when I paid with a gift card.

The employees were helpful and friendly. The makeup selection was fabulous with BH cosmetics, Morphe, Flower, Colorpop, Catrice and L.A. Girl in addition to everything I expected to find. The store was busy with long lines but the line moved very quickly. I was happy with my experience and plan to return.
