I recently bought a 2010 Mini Cooper from this place, the worst.... The was fixed just enough to make it out the door. After to days of having this car it breaks down. I can’t take it back because I’m 3 hrs away the guy who is till currently working on the told me that he noticed the car was worked on and it wasn’t put together correctly so he had to redo what he did and right now the car is done for, this is the how this auto dealership operates... I could go on and on why? The truth is buy your car somewhere else

I wrote a review before, but it seems as though the dealership deleted it. I purchased my vehicle from this location, only to find out a day later that the check engine light would go on and lead to multiple problems. As mentioned in a post below this - this dealership is not honest and does a lot of patch work just to get vehicles out of the door. This dealership knowingly sold me a vehicle which could have cost me my life. I received many letters from the manufacture stating that my vehicle had never been serviced and that there were several factory recalls. At the date of purchase I was informed by Angel that there were no recalls and that the service was up to date. A lot of the positive comments come from customers like me who write reviews on sites like yelp while their vehicle is getting prepped for them. If you dont believe me go look at my yelp and see for yourself. There was a response to my previous message stating to speak with George about my issue. Well Axis team, I did and he did everything in his will not to rectify the situation. This dealership sells lemons. Dont trust them! If you want a good car you are better off getting a lease from a creditable dealership.

Well if I can give zero stars I would. Let me say the secretary/assistant she was very nice. But this place is extremely unprofessional. My boyfriend and I drove from Belleville, leaving work early, driving back and forth because we only have one car. Wasting time when we were trying to take a car from this dealership. Everytime we would arrive there was an excuse, it was arriving today, it didn’t arrive, it was in the shop, it needed this and that. Literally circles, no one even knew what they were saying because it was clearly something not correct but us giving the benefit of the doubt to them. But at this point we shouldn’t have, we met a sales man that said he would reassure we had it. He called later that night saying it arrived that we had an appointment the next day at 2. But when I call the nice lady said they sold it an hour ago? How if we had an appointment? And the other person didn’t. And it seems weird because I don’t even like to think like this but seeming a little bit of racial profiling. What my boyfriend being black & I Hispanic does it not seem like we have the money? Strange. Or they just hold it for some people and not others. This dealer ship is not it and from the other comment I’ve read it seems like they give out b.s cars so now kinda happy we didn’t buy because already wasting 2 weeks of our time to sell it right? Weird. Rather spend time else where. Thank you for absolutely nothing. OH AND I asked to speak to the manager they said he was busy. Also weird, because when someone ask to speak to a manager they are SUPPOSED to be ready at any point busy or not. Clearly they have nothing to say and it proves my point of the way this dealer ship moves. And if the manager is the bald dude then that definitely explains it.

Im from New Jersey originally but recently moved to Pennsylvania. After being referred to Axis Auto Group by a long time friend and repeat customer of Axis Auto Group. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. By far the worst customer service experience, and my last time working with them. This is an open warning to anybody who comes to this place, if you are looking to buy an overpriced and faulty car then youve found the place. For the purpose of not stirring anybody away from reading this with the LONG review I should be giving them, I will give a quick run summary. Wanted to finance a car through a credit union, they asked for a $500 deposit, my credit union saved me from making a bigger mistake because they informed me that they had over-priced the car. Cars worth was only $9k, they charged me $12k but made it to look like the had given me a discount, I checked their website and saw the price of the same vehicle (same VIN) was $10.9k, told them Id still be willing to purchase the vehicle if they honored the price I saw, told me I was mistakenly seeing things, Im an IT so looking back in their sites history was cake, saw that I MADE NO MISTAKE and they had quickly changed the price as soon as they thought they had me, sent an email and even gave them a chance and it wasnt until I was frustrated and done with this giant scam that I wanted to stop the deal when suddenly, IN PEN THEY WROTE IN THEIR PURCHASE SALES AGREEMENT NO REFUNDS. Am still planning on taking action and am willing to work with anybody who has had a similar experience with this. Close this place down immediately.Dont be deceived by the cheat that Sergio is. Save yourself the trouble and go to a real dealership ANYWHERE BUT HERE.Update: Got a letter from their bank too that also declined it because the price was outrageous. So yes, this is more than a fair argument. As far as my bank not approving me? I got an approval for an even higher number than what I asked for prior to this. My bank (and evidently their own bank) thought it would not be the best decision for me or them to finance something so outrageously unfairly priced.

I NEVER leave review, but I have to for these guys. We spent an hour from start to finish including test drive. One owner car in mint shape and price was right. The best experience I have ever had at a dealership, he let me know my options and was able to work with me on payments, I was comfortable making . Angel was beyond patience, nice, and knowledgeable. If I could give this location no stars I would. I spent my time from 11 am to 5pm attempting to buy a car at Axis. I started at the Broadway location and worked with Angel and Catherine (who were the nicest people) to test drive, submit and application and even pay the down payment. But when it came time to sign the contracts I had to visit the Garfield location.Upon reaching this location I waited another half and hour to meet with Saul (Salado or whatever his name was. Who I heard speaking to another costumer very rudely). When taken to the back room to sign the contracts he refused to print out or show me the final numbers that the bank was offering, he just wanted me to sign. However, I was able to see that the numbers he placed in the computer were as follows: A credit score 60 pts less than my own, a sale price 2k more than what was agreed on at the first lot and a double digit interest rate that was far to high and a bottom line that was 5k more than the original price.)Upon me addressing this discrepancy he proceed to get an attitude and even belittle me. I told him to reverse the deposit and return my paperwork, which he refused to do. He insulted me and told me I had wasted his time.The most unsettling part his apparently he does this often and the owner was standing there like she never witnessed this occurrence before. My advice is to go there with your own financing or just find a dealership that you can walk into with out being insulted.

Great experience here, especially after a day looking at cars all over the area. We came to Axis as the last stop. Not only did they have the largest and most diverse range of cars on offer but the customer service has been really great. These guys go against the grain of the typical auto dealers you meet. The guy that we worked with was attentive, not at all pushy and was honest about what would be the best vehicle in our price range. We ended up picking a great car. The team were so helpful in arranging everything and following up on the purchase afterwards. We needed a couple of things checked out, which all were minor, normal wear and tear of a used car. The team looked into it for us and have taken care of it for us. I strongly recommend them.

After 22 years of driving and recently experiencing my first accident, I thought that I would never be able to replace my dear Andrew (2004 Chevy Suburban). His knowledge and expertise were solid enough to rid me of all the worries and concerns associated with replacing Andrew. I was totally convinced I received a great deal when I drove the 42 miles back home (up steep hills) and the GMC Yukon Denali just floated to its new home. In hindsight, I should have taken it a little easier on Peter and hope he can forgive me for being such a worry bug. As I sit on my porch admiring my purchase and typing this review, I have to say how happy I am to have found another reliable truck to keep me and my family safe. He had all the cars that i was interested in ready to be shown. They were very patient, professional and yet very friendly. Sal, the manager worked to give us a deal that we were satisfied with and he also had the brake pads changed and car cleaned.As far as the quality of their cars is concerned, they have vehicles in excellent condition as well as clunkers. We were interested in seeing a Lexus Axis had on lot; we took the vehicle for a test drive and were ready to do business with Axis to purchase .. I must say, our salesman Angel was wonderful and tried to help us as much as he could (thats why I gave 1 star) but told us his hands were tied as far as any financial decisions. The finance guy, John, would not budge far from the listed price of $7995 (which is the standard listing price for most of their older cars); and they wouldnt budge on the offer for trade on my vehicle. He seemed annoyed that we dared to even try to get it any cheaper.. and treated us as if he was doing us some sort of favor. We felt very disrespected .. Fast forward to today (3/16/18) .. we went to Auto Direct Cars in Edgewater Park, NJ and purchased the same year/make Lexus (with less miles) and they dropped their price to $6900 (from 7890)... God is GOOD! .. We dealt with professional people at Direct Auto who worked with us so we could leave with our car! They treated us with respect (they even bought us lunch!) and we are now the proud owners of our new Lexus .. Its well worth the drive to Auto Direct Cars! Youll be glad you went there!! OH,, and that Lexus at Axis is STILL on their lot.

DO NOT.I repeat- DO NOT waste your money or time here. The people writing good reviews are THEM. this place is so bad. I had my car all of two weeks before it had a transmission problem. The warranty put my car in the shop for FOUR MONTHS and I still had to make payments on my car. the following year it had an engine issue and the warrant people did not want to pay for it and told us to pay for it ourselves. NO! we told them to go get the car because at this point- whatever the consequences its better than dealing with them for another 12 months. I HATE. THIS PLACE! I wish I wouldve drove past it. DO NOOTTTTTTT do it to yourself. Learn from my mistake. Youre better off going to the brand name car dealerships than doing this.

I was having a hard time getting approved. It was sal and Peter that helped put me in a car after themWorking on it for a little. I couldnt be more thankful for this. My car was detailed (twice!) once when I bought and I asked again when I went to pick up my plates. they really didnt seem to mind. they even put my plates on for me when I went back to get them.
