Rude management and rude staff. Judgemental. Staff sees a single mom(who had a scheduled appointment) asking for simple haircuts for her 2 kids and makes them wait 3 hours so more profitable clientele can show up to get their hair cut curled and colored.Love that the manager listens to the parent who is paying but tells the child we aint doing that when she thinks the parent cant hear.

Always friendly service, never had a bad haircut. Been taking our sons here for 15 years. If a recurring customer, the stylist remembers your name and your cut. Consistent results and fast.

Took my 20 month old to get a hair trim had to tell the stylist 4 times to cut above her ears sje kept arguing not to do it mind You my daughter was watching videos on my phone so she was well behave at one point i kissed her on the cheek and was talking to her and the stylist proceed to tell me not to do that it would make things worse First of all shes my child never tell me what i can and cant do so to make it even worse I found out this stylist is the manager I will not take her back there! Tell City is alot better Dont take your children here!!!

Great place to get your hair cut. Though a bit pricey, they make up for it with a great staff of knowledgable stylists. Im pretty simple when it comes to my hairstyle, but they get cut it just the way I want it. All in all good staff, great atmosphere, quick and clean.

I use to go here all the time. I could always get a good cut. BUT, the last time I went I received the worst haircut ever!! My stylist was very young and apparently inexperienced. I told her I liked my hairstyle and just wanted a light trim. It took her forever. The stylist beside me gave 2 1/2 cuts by the time my stylist finished. I wanted to cry when I put my glasses back on. My hair was so short and choppy. My husband laughed when I got home. He thought he could have done a better job and I think he was right. I thought it would get better as it grew out, but I finally had to go to a different place to get it shaped up.

Very friendly ladies. I am pretty routine about getting the same hair cut. They have done great about everytime. Im only rating 4 stars cause it seems they are always under staffed and wait times seem a tad long.

Not sure if this is where all the drop outs go to work, but theyve butchered my hair EVERYTIME I go. I guess collarbone length is now up to the jaw. Not happy. Wasnt allowed to watch. I was faced the opposite direction of the mirror

This place is an establishment of horrid customer service and unskilled, old fashioned stylist that have poor listening skills. Employees failed on many occasions to provide a satisfactory haircuts and styles and have even performed services unasked for upon customers hair.Do not receive cuts from Joi or any of the staff employed here.

Its great for men that want a super basic cut, but other than that my experiences there have always left more to be desired.

Worst haircut ever. Had to wait 45 minutes for the beautician to do things I didn’t ask her to. I only asked for a trim but left with hair that didn’t go past my ears (it was past my shoulders at the time), horrendously uneven layers, and what she called “bangs”, which were just tendrils of hair shorter than the rest of my hair. I seriously looked like a Barbie who had a four year old experiment with its hair. I would seriously not recommend going here at all, as there are actual beauticians in this county who will actually listen to what you want done.

I would really like to give this place 0 stars. If youre looking for a dye job stay far away from here. They charged my daughter $90 and completely screwed up her hair. Their idea of rectifying the situation was to offer her a free conditioning treatment. Seriously how does that even solve the problem?Update:They claim they have a no refund policy. However I have combed over the website repeatedly and cannot find a clause anywhere on it that states no refunds. $90 was spent and an additional cost will now have to accumulate just to go somewhere else to have her hair fixed. Not to mention the lady that did my daughters, joi, lied on my daughter and claimed her hair was black when in fact her hair was brown with blonde highlights. And yes I can prove her hair color. Fortunately I took pictures of my daughter prior to seeing fantastic sams.

This is a good place for walk-ins they will put someone with you in minutes if you have a favorite hair stylist you can come back each time and have that one you can make appointments or walk in the girls are very friendly always between 4 and 8 girls on duty

Wont go here again. Terrible haircut. My hair are shorter from back and long in front, had to ask three times to fix things here and there. You can imagine how bad it was as she did not even bother to brush them before starting to cut, did not even spray water to make them damp for a even cut. I am not a rude person, so I did not say anything bad to her. Completly irresponsible staff

Had my eye brows waxed. After getting to work 4 people asked what was wrong with my eye. I decided to check it for my self. The wax had been so hot, it had ripped the skin off my eye lid! When I called to express my concern...they said there was nothing they could do and that I should just put Aloe on it. Never, never again!!!!

Called in and asked for my normal stylist for a haircut and color, she was gone that day. The grouch who answered the phone decided to rudely hang up on me. ( I believe her name was Sydney). Certain employees are lacking energy and a positive attitude, you can tell as you walk in the door.

I had to leave due to the waiting time was to long but usually any other time I dont have a problem.

Went in first thing this morning and was told it would be only 20 to 25 mins. After an hour and fifteen mins and 3 different people that came in after me got waited on first I decided to leave. None of which had appointments they were just walking as well. Appartently they didnt want my business. Will be getting highlights elsewhere. Also was going to purchase gift certificates, but decided since they didnt want to wait on me then I wouldnt waste my familys time going there.

I have went here for years, and never had a problem with them, but unfortunately this is most likely the last time i will be going to Fantastic Sams in Jasper. I asked to have the long hair in the back fixed (it was growing into a mullet due to me having a faux hawk a while back). I wasnt given a mirror to view the back after it was cut, but since I have trusted F.S. for my 21 years of living, I thought nothing of it. My hairdresser explained that she would stack the back of my hair and leave the front long. When she took the shears (or electric clippers, if you prefer) to my neck, I dont know what she did but I have a burn/cut on my neck that is pretty painful. Its red and swollen. This happened when she turned the shears upside down to get a precise line. My hair was also cut a bit uneven, but I usually let that slide.The main point is I got a pretty nasty burn/cut on my neck. I understand that mistakes happen, but when working with shears, a little more caution should be taken.

The 2nd time I went to get a perm, the assistant manager did the perm. She let the solution run into my eyes because they were out of towels, and then she literally tore the rollers out of my hair. I wanted to cry it hurt so bad, and then after all that,my bangs were not curled at all, curly underneath and horrible places that seemed to have been left out because it was straighter than when I came in. I went thru all that torture and came home with the worst hair style Ive ever had! I had no idea that I didnt have to pay for the work done if I wasnt satisfied because if I had known, I wouldnt have put down one cent!! Dont go there, especially to Brittney, the assistant manager!!
