I have been here only a few times. My uncle gave me a vest from a different store. It was a little small. I went in for a set of extenders. They did not meet up properly. Lance reworked the vest and made it comfortable to fit. Awesome place. Local. Friendly. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

If you need a patch sewed on anyting this place is beyond good. they have been sewing patches on my sons leather jacket, karate uniform, battle jacket since he was 1, hes 16 now. Great locally-owned place. Almost makes me wish I had a motorcycle but the people in Jacksonville cant drive so I drive a car.

18 years ago, I bought mine and my wifes leather jackets and chaps here. We ride 9-12 thousand miles per year. Were still wearing those same jackets and chaps. Two years ago, I totaled my bike and was glad I had the leathers on. The only damage to my jacket was a broken zipper. Brought it in and Lance replaced it. Works like new.

Judging from its website, this store looked like the place to go to get a new leather riding jacket. I was not disappointed.I told the man behind the counter what I was looking for, and he walked me to that part of the store. Then he mercifully left me to try on jackets myself. I found just the right one and left, a happy customer.They also have chaps, helmets, vests, saddlebags, and a whole assortment of other items that Ill check out next time!

Ive been a customer of Lance and Shelias for years. Ive bought everything from cleaning supplies to leather jackets. Ive bought multiple jackets and vests and they have held up fine, no issues. If youre looking for riding gear, cleaning supplies, boots, leather bags and various other items then Open Road leathers is the place to go. Great people and they stand behind what they sell.

I have known the owner for many years and both him and his wife are the best. They go out of their way to help their customers out. No matter what they will sew the patches on and give you great prices as well. I rate them better than any other cycl9 gear shop

The people here are cool and they do great leatherwork. The prices are reasonable. My dad bought chaps and a cut and has been wearing them for years. They customized the chaps for him so they fit. It didnt take but 10 mins to measure him and cut them to his size. Ive bought everything from gloves to helmets to sunglasses. Dont go to Adamec. They will price gouge you. Go to Open Road instead and get better quality stuff for way better prices.

If your looking for jackets, boots, gloves, raingear, chaps, saddlebags, tourbags, tool bags, swing arm bags, belts, etc this place has a nice in stock selection. They also have patches available and someone can sow them on.

Excellent service and always have the right products. We looked everywhere for a leather coat for my grandson. Not only did they have them, but they were they cost even less than online.

Brought a 30 year old jacket from my father in with a torn front pocket, the guy working doing the repairs stopped what he was doing on another customer’s vest and had mine fixed in no more than 4 minutes tops. Charged me $2. Needless to say I was expecting something more like ten times that cost for the repair. Friendly staff. Definitely will be back.

This store was great. They had a lot of inventory at very good prices. I would go there to get great leather gear before buying the name brand leather as the quality is the same if not better then what you would buy at a name brand store.

I got a brand new riding suit through mail order, only to find that the pocket was not sewn properly.Open Road leathers fixed the pocket while I waited. Its great to have a local shop that will do such excellent work.

I cant say enough good things about Open Road so Ill stick to one subject. I have an old Harley jacket which I love but it was in need of several repairs including some difficult stitching and a new zipper. Id gone elsewhere and they wanted lots of cash and a month to do the job. I finally heard about Open Road and their services and brought them my Frankenstein looking leather. Lance, who does their repairs, gave me a great price and had the jacket back to me in 24 hours. Unbelievably fast and it looks great! Couldnt have asked for more.
